I just purchased your new pattern, the Penny. I’d like to make it in a cork exterior. For the straps, if I use cork, would you recommend doing 4 inches or do you think that is too thick?? I love all your patterns!❤

AWESOME!!!! Started cutting this out today, hopefully i will start sewing tomorrow. I have had no sewjo since June of last year. Hubby was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. He is in remission now but I still dont like leaving him alone while I sew. 🤞🤞🤞🤞fingers crossed for tomorrow!

I use cellotape to keep my pocket piece in place when adding a zipper pocket x

Great tutorial!! I watched it 3 times before I attempted to make the wallet. I had a couple of kinks along the way. My printer didn't print out the card slots page properly. I found this out AFTER I had cut up my fabric, though. I had to go back and use the pattern measurements page to get it right. And then I wasn't sure if the card slots markings (1,2,3 and 4) were in the correct place after that.. I don't know, maybe it was the glass of wine I was sipping on, lol. Also the lining piece printed out about an inch too short as well. I just added a strip along the bottom. It worked out just fine. However, my wallet came out beautifully for my first try! Next time I will save the celebratory glass of wine when I'm all done - and there will be a next time for sure! 😃

i just got your pattern from Etsy and the main thing i am worried about is the lining. but i am determined to master the lining and also the zipper insert inside. but i LOVE THIS PATTERN!

When you place the flap on the body, how much space should be on each side of the flap? I think my flap might not be wide enough

I was thinking about making a “ one” piece flap and front panel…due to the pattern of the vinyl. Would this work by taping the pattern pieces together and just making one cut?
