Great tutorial!! I watched it 3 times before I attempted to make the wallet. I had a couple of kinks along the way. My printer didn't print out the card slots page properly. I found this out AFTER I had cut up my fabric, though. I had to go back and use the pattern measurements page to get it right. And then I wasn't sure if the card slots markings (1,2,3 and 4) were in the correct place after that.. I don't know, maybe it was the glass of wine I was sipping on, lol. Also the lining piece printed out about an inch too short as well. I just added a strip along the bottom. It worked out just fine. However, my wallet came out beautifully for my first try! Next time I will save the celebratory glass of wine when I'm all done - and there will be a next time for sure! 😃

I was thinking about making a “ one” piece flap and front panel…due to the pattern of the vinyl. Would this work by taping the pattern pieces together and just making one cut?

HonLeanne, I have now successfully downloaded the pattern and I’m rummaging around in my supplies. Can you tell me, is that washi tape you put over the magnetic snap? I’ve never thought of using it but it’s much easier than trying to fuse bits of interfacing over the metal.
