I when to an apple shop to swap my 15 plus (256) to a 16 plus and I got lucky with a demo 16 plus by the manager (great guy)…after going through the features of the iPhone 16 plus …I thanked the manager and walked out of the shop with my 15 plus feeling so proud of my 15 plus..I will pass on the 16s and wait for the 17s if and when it comes…❤❤❤

Yes. Always buy the previous model and keep it as long as you can. Keep the phone for a few years. That way when you upgrade again, it will actually feel like an upgrade.

Definitely did. 16 really just gives you ai and the button. Nothing more nothing less. Unless apple did use the 15 pro USBC port in the standard 16 model. I'm looking at iPhone 15 pro because at metro you can get it for basically half price $600 some + $20 fee and $75 plan ( I believe and it's for first month so you can drop it lower)

probably the battery life and camera, which are the most important features for the average user.

@@pep1679 yes, i think battery life is important but camera I do not think so. For an average user, difficult to tell the difference of a 5MP photo from iPhone 11 to 16. What is puzzling is that during the heydays of the flagships even back to 6S, the battery life remains the same - 1 day on average. The new tech and software developed made these mobiles less energy efficient.

AI isn't gonna make your life better. Avoid the hype. If your battery is wearing out get a new one installed. It's much cheaper than getting a new phone. Keep your current iPhone especially if it'll be supported for 2 or more years.

But these numbers are not Megabytes per Second but Megabits per Second which is 8 times smaller. 8 Megabits are 1 Megabyte.
