Ever since i was a boy, i fell in love with his character. I had many figures and i always made him my MC (big deal as a kid) he's such a cool character i grew up with and loved how powerful he is. As i grew up i realized how complicated his character is and how he still has such a great personality, hes definitely a superhero who deserves more spotlight, but still loved by those who know him.
Always been a Gambit fan. Thought he’s power/skill set, personality and backstory was lead character material. X-men 97 did him justice. Glad to people finally seeing that. Better late than never.
Wolverine (Logan, and X-23) is (are) my favorite(s), but Remi is right up there with them. As a kid I always liked how cool, and skilled he is along with his powers. Plus his romantic relationship with Rogue was always great to me.

You haven’t seen anything..he's born an Omega level mutant who has full control over kinetic energy even turn himself into a being made of kinetic energy..but that made him a threat to the planet itself..so he begged Sinister to nerf him (removed a brain tissue that allowed him to nuke biological matter)..the gambit you see in '97 is in nerfed state. There's a Gambit in alternate universe who fully embraced his powers called "New Sun"

i can't remember where I read it, but I swear I did somewhere but one of his strangest powers is how also has a special "pheromone" that's attributed to his charm. It supposedly helps him with getting on people's good side and getting what he wants. I could be misremembering, but I always thought it was a quirky power to include in his set.
One of the best Marvel characters there is. My favorite with Deadpool for sure :) To my knowledge, which has not been touched upon in the video, Gambit can charge his brain with his power too which makes him resistant to psychic attacks as well as Rouges powers.
Thats why Ororo/Storm is a really good friend of Remy. They even lived together like "brother and sister" if you will, when Storm was turned into a child by "Nanny"(an enemy) for a while. They have a really nice friendship, that is why it was disappointing to me, that the new series didnt showed us Storm reaction to Remys dead in the series. IF THEY ARE TAKING STUFF OF THE COMICS, I am sure Storm would have being as mad as Rogue or close to it. Gambit and Storm even chat with each other about some of their troubles in search for advice. And Storm "menace" Remy to do what she says or else she will send Remy a "Rainy cloud" over his head until he does 😂😂😂. He acts as his little brother hahaha and Storm is very supportive of his relationship with Rogue 😊. Its a wholesome relationship.
I hope you are following his Comics. The had a new solo comics in 2022 by Chris Claremont. And he is going to be in the new UNCANNY XMEN TEAM that is gonna be on sale pretty soon. THE BEST way to show love to our favorite characters is to buy their comic books if you can.

I always felt his hypnotic ability is undersold as a hypnotic ability. He showed the ability to resist and dodge telepathic scans and attacks, charmed people under the control of the shadow king, and has implanted images in the minds of others with powerful psychic defenses(Jean Grey). It kind of feels like hes closer to a telepath who keeps his powers on the down low.
Channing Tatum was amazing! Gambit is one of the few characters who's power is his least interesting attribute. I could see doing a movie where his power isn't even revealed until midway.
Between Wolverine and Gambit, they were always my favorite X-men as well as my favorite comic book characters in general. I recently found out just how powerful Gambit really is, when he saw an alternate version of himself. That was pretty cool.
