Thank you so much for finally going over the History of Rogue! By far one of my favorite X-Men along with Cyclops and Storm! A beautiful, lovely, and amazing character. Gambit truly is a lucky person to be her husband 🙏🏽❤️

Rogue is the heart and soul of the X-Men comics. Even though she started as a Villain, she's one of the most powerful heroes in all of Marvel Comics.

And that's Rogue with Ms. Marvel's strength, durability, and flight. Plain old rogue isnt even gonna be that strong.
Seriously, Rogue deserves her own independent, animated series. She definitely could even have a miniseries.
She's so underrated.

Rogue's fight against Bastion in the finale was incredible, imo. What makes it for me is the pain in her face and the tears in her eyes for Remy as she's literally scraping Bastion through the ground before launching him. Amazing moment!
As the uncle of a 10 year old, I’m so glad he is watching this series. I’ve successfully introduced him to Gundam, X-men and Pokémon. He’s by far the coolest 10 year old I know lmao

HOLD UP!! Doesn’t she have Wonder Man’s powers now? She can lift over a 100 tons, while with Ms. Marvel’s strength, she was a level 5 & could lift around 50 tons- still she was physically the strongest X-Men next to Colossus. Now, she is not only twice as strong, she is practically immortal and basically a goddess in her own right! No disease, illness, or even time can affect her, and she can withstand the assault of nearly any physical damage. She also has superhuman speed, reflexes, agility, and is excelled at hand-to-hand combat. She also lead the X-Men for a time when Cyclops was presumed dead. Truly my favorite character ever & too underrated by many! Thanks for doing a well made/edited video dedicated just to her! ♥️
One of THE BEST moments from 97 was when she started beating the absolute piss out of Bastion. Coming in with that unforgettable line, beat him out if the ship and then you could even feel the power of the clap she released in his face. Not gonna lie I rewinded that part too many times to count. Rogue always been one of my favorites in Marvel.
Rogue deserved to unleash that fury on Bastion. I loved the little detail of her crying as she unleashed her anger… no, her grief.

When I was a kid in the 80's I wanted to be Wolverine and date Rogue. She has one of the most tragic powers.

As an animated fan, I loved how poppy and fun Rogue was as a character until the films were produced where she was shown as a sad, weak, cry baby 😭🍼

Whenever I describe phantoms in maplestory I always say it's like if Rogue and Gambit got married and had a baby. I didn't know they did get married. That's wild. Also I got goose bumps hearing what a bad ass she is. Rogue has always been one of my favorites. Thank you for this video. I look forward to watching more in the future.

I know it's not as big a thing in the comics but when it comes to Rogue I always think of her bond/relationship with Wolverine. That's mainly cos of the movies and X men: evolution and Wolverine and the X men cartoons

She didn’t go around demanding their trust. She earned it.
I think you missed a very important event (story) in Rogue's journey to redemption. I believe it started in the early 80s when the "Evil Mutants" faced Rom Space Knight. (Rom Space Knight #31 and 32, by Bill Mantlo, drawn by Sal Buscema) Rogue kissed Rom, to steal his powers, but all she discovered was "that portion of humanity grafted to the cold Spaceknight armor" "A kind of decency which Rogue, in her young life, had never known." And "she finds that she… likes it."
I love these transformations in comics back in my youth. My favorite is when Magneto learned his grand-daughter (Back when Pietro was his son,) was human, and he had a change of heart. (In the same issue we also learned Lockjaw was once a man, who, with much effort could speak, and who'd been transformed by the Terrigen Mists.)

Can't believe her major appearance in ROM: Spaceknight #32 was skipped over. It took place right before she went to the X-Men. In fact, events from ROM is what turned her away from being evil and splitting for Xaviers.
True. Rogue trying to steal the Spaceknight's "powers" exposed her to the memories of a soul so noble that it caused her to question how she looked at her own motivations and how she saw everyone around her. This event is what caused her to seek out help from Charles Xavier and the X-Men.
