Having grown up in Hampshire then moved up north and now a KWVR volunteer, I do find it amusing to be seeing so many videos of Bahammas in places familiar from my past!
Well done guys excellent planning and execution of your pre planed schedule The last silhouette shot was spot on looked like a fun way to fill in a day
The Watercress Line does look like a section of the former Somerset and Dorset Railway, great video of chasing those steam locomotives and also chasing Bahamas, the 7F does sound amazing :D
Looked like you had a great day out. Some lovely shots of the locomotives running. As writing this comment I am currently watching a little Hornby 0-4-0 Holden tank engine in Santa's express livery going around the Christmas tree.
If you want to talk mouthful railway names, you should see some of them here in the states. Let’s see; two that come to mind are the St. Louis, Iron Mountain and Southern (St.LIM&S) and the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific (CMSt.P&P…mercifully shortened to the Milwaukee Road usually). Also: can i just say that the shot and the noise of the Ivatt at 10:00-ish is just glorious? Always loved the Ivatt 2s.
I half expected farmer Palmer and his son armed with 12 bores to come striding across the field at any moment. « GET ORFF MOY LAAAND »!!! Joking apart - just GLORIOUS ! Especially that little Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T. The first time I’ve seen it since it was built. If this damn COVID thing finally goes away I’d love to catch up with you either here in Ardèche or in the UK. We have so many interests in common. All power to LMM.
Heard on radio today, you can't buy British coal any more, has to come from Kazakhstan/somewhere miles away, & the coal is poorer quality. 😧 Another good video, well planned, & some great shots & sounds, thank you!
Very nice, though I admit I'm slightly disappointed to see Bahamas in green. My first ever steam train was another Jubilee, Leander, at the Severn Valley Railway, about 1985 when I was 18. (The return trip was behind Hagley Hall.)
its so nice to see the steam trains,as a 12-13 year old on a saturday morning i used to go to the local sidings in mansfield with a driver called reg and we had breakfast off the shovel made sure we had a head of steam and be shunting for a few hours i even got to see the flying scotsman and the mallard, have you been to loughborough to do a video ?,the best for me has got to be the nymr the ride to whitby in the snow is as my grandkids say magical,i dont care what any man says theres an engine driver hiding in us all.

It's always interesting seeing engines visiting different lines
@@lmm Yeah, I gather you have been at Moors Valley as well (still maintain all my competencies down there), so I am looking forward to that video!
I love the Watercress Line. It terminates in my home town of Alton. Many years ago I used to volunteer on the railway as well
It's a lovely line.

It was a very good day.
Ah the correct thing to do around a Christmas tree!
Awesome video, a lot of fun following your trip. Not just back to back clips !
Glad you enjoyed it!

We'll make sure it happens when things improve. Currently it's a little tricky
Welcome back! Thanks for the great video.
Thank you, you're welcome!
It was lovely meeting you guys on pure coincidence. I still don't have live subtitles for myself I'm afraid 🤣 No hard feelings at all
Was really enjoyable - look forward to doing it again
I have Leander and Glorious in model form on our LMS layout. But lovely to see one of its class working as haven't had the chance to in the flesh!
Oh good choices of locomotive

Yes it's a real issue for Heritage railways.
Thank you very much!

Thank you very much!

I loved Leander in crimson Lake, saw that on one of my first visits to SVR

If you like a beer then do a vid on the RAT, you can even dip off for a curry along the way.
