Experimenting with this now. Everything was pretty close, except when I added the stretchRand and the VEX restlength in constraint properties, now it's super deformed.
I managed to figure it out. But I can't bring the remesh target size down. It crashes houdini, trying to get the folds and "tightness" of the creases etc. I'm running a 4090 card and the remesh looks the same size as yours in the geo. idk
@@rendercrap i have same problem, tell me if Im right, there is a problem with scale? becouse when I scale up my piece of cloth then it seems to looking better
I'll have to go back and check this file. SideFX has a history of changing how constraints work, particularly the math/strength/etc., between versions. If it's messing up for me too I'll update the tutorial.
Possible to do this without vellum drape? Honestly not a fan of the lack of control with this. But im still new, and cannot get the setup to work using Vellum Weld/stitch constraints
The vellum drape is a simplified vellum solver. You would swap it for a regular one. But if you can't get the welds to work with the drape, you'll likely have the same issues with the regular vellum solver.
@@ProfessionallyIncorrect Wow thanks for fast reply on slightly older video.. was not expecting that quickness lol but thank you! i went through some more complex constraint tutorials and got it to work with Weld constraints.. if anyone sees this and is having issues make sure your weld points are touching, was my big issue. thanks again for the reply
Great! Thank You very much, Liam!
Fantastic.
Thank you, sir!
nice one! something going wrong to me, I do not get stiched object like you and I dont know where is the problem. Do you have some .hip file to share?

@@nononsense2688 You're welcome! I still monitor this channel even though I haven't put anything out in a year. That's going to change soon.
Merci
Leg end !!!
Thanks!
One sided inflation at 14.30 happened to me also, but when I set the top and bottom pieces in a different way problem is gone, weird
Can you explain what you mean by "in a different way"?
