Free Motion Embroidery/Thread Painting Using a Vintage Treadle Sewing Machine

In this video I am embroidering/thread painting with a vintage straight stitch treadle sewing machine. I have hooped my project as this makes it much easier to control stitch placement and also helps keep my project from puckering.

Ms Marilyn this is truly amazing! Is it easier to embroider on a treadle than an electric machine? I wish I had more time to devote to learning all these techniques. Between working, crocheting, tatting, sewing, serging, baking, and working on the house and car there just aren't enough hours in the day! Love your work!

I don't use stabilizer at all...I use size 11 needles and regular embroidery thread, mostly Floriani and Isacord. I do create all of my own designs.
