530d vs 535d feels a big difference, but because it is a diesel it was not blowing acceleration, but more sustain. Personally have lci 535d e60 sedan, stage 1. Very cool car, but be ready for a expensive maintenance compare to the price.
That 530d costs nearliy the same, since they're having the same issues. Exhaust-Gas return, intake bridge, crankschaft pulley, glow plugs and so forth , but you have less power and weaker brakes. Anyhow I prefer petrol engines, I would trade that for a 550i without thinking.

@@notempolimit agree with You. Overall E60 looks for me quite expensive for price/maintenance, but i live it. Would like to have 550i or of course M5.

530d LCI stock is doing 21,xx seconds
As fast as my 2004 530i.
PS my indicator is not as noisy as this one.
And much faster with only stage1 (ca. 340ps)
