    thank you so much for making these videos. I’ve been struggling with making super detailed stencils, particularly with the bridges, and this helps a lot. Your work is amazing.

    How do I resize the stencil to fit on a 16x20inch canvas/larger area?

    • @WickedPaint
      @WickedPaint  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I usually set up the document at the beginning at the size I want to paint which in this video was A3 but you can also resize them by selecting all the layers and transferring them to a new document set up at 16x20 inches then use transform tool to scale all layers to fit.

      Could you make a video that goes through the cricut process as well?

    this is amazing is this the cricut? And how tall can you go to cut stencils? Does it cut well or do you have to do a lot after it has been cut? Can you use any paper? Thanks

      Yeah I use the Cricut explore air 2 which I've had for a few years now. Its great for A3 size stencils and can cut through some pretty thick paper or plastic. I use 220 gsm thick card and it cuts through pretty easily.

    What printer do you use and what type of paper?

    • @WickedPaint
      @WickedPaint  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I use a cricut to cut the stencils and 220gsm card to make them.

    It is not that simple to just click the background and delete it. Really wish these types of videos used less than easy photos with little to no background in them. It’s like the work is already half done for you 😖

      I use other options in some of my other videos like using the pen tool to create a selection path around your subject then load that path as a selection-this is the best method. I have also been using the Select-Subject tool in the new versions of photoshop and that also works surprisingly well. But you are right...I did kind of cheat by choosing an image with a really simple background.
