Ok, so i finally commited to the process and i cant thank you enough for putting these videos together and creating that plugin 🙏🏾 My project came out absolutely amazing!!
A time saver trick: you can skip the part where you create a new file for the same size of the document you're making. As long as you export your files to SVG format, they are infinitely resizable and retain detail. This way, you can use the same stencil file for medias of different sizes. Most machines read SVG's easier than PNG because scaleable vector graphics are just line files and the software reads the line and doesn't have to create an outline. The method you use can tend to loose detail due to this. Love the channel, they're super helpful and informative with a detailed step-by-step!
That is a great tip!!! I will definitely give that a try and it opens up a few options in exporting to other software like lightburn etc.. Thanks mate!!
@@WickedPaint I've been using Lightburn with PNG and then trace but it's a PITA, SVG almost certainly a much better option. Just bought the plugin, looking forwards to using the tool and following the channel!
Hi 😍loving your channel and amazing art work What version of paintshop do I need to use your stencil plugin? Looks amazing, I’ve got some ideas for it already 😎
Thank you, glad to hear you like the channel and artwork. The stencil plugin works with photoshop version 24 and above. Looking forward to seeing what you create with it!
About the pluggin, would you happen to have an online website instead ? I'd prefer that so that I don't have to learn any photoshop... but the pluggin does seem to do some great job !
If I am not in a rush then I always prefer to use the custom path as it just gives better control over certain areas like hair. Sometimes when there is alot of contrast between the background and subject then the object select tool does a great job. I would say experiment with both and see which one you prefer.
Hey there my friend love your videos and the plugin! I was wondering one thing about it as far as seperating colors it seems the software struggles to keep like the correct colors on the correct layer set. Like it willl think red is bluee etc.... Didn't know if you have any advice how to fix this or not thanks .
Hi David, in order to get the colours correctly I like to separate the colours into different layers before I run the plugin. I will be making a video on this process very soon.
Yeah it can be hard lining up the stencils on the cricut as it always cuts in a different spot but making a mark on the matt can help. If you send me an email I can send a few more tips.

Great tut! … What are the 94 spray can colours/codes you use in the vid?

Is there a benefit to using a custom path vs the object select tool in your opinion?

Can u do this in krita? cause i don't whant to pay an expencive subscription on PS just for some hobby stencils
I am not sure, I will have to look into Krita. You can use GIMP to create stencils as another alternative.
How long do you wait until you spray paint another layer?
About 5 minutes until its touch dry or you can speed it up with a hair dryer.
Can you do a cheetah I found it really confusing when making bridges for the fur print
That's a great idea, I'll make a video showing how to stencil fury animals!
Thank you! It's mainly the pattern it's so many circles and shapes@@WickedPaint
I’m so aggravated Cricut is cutting the stencils about 3/8 inch off and I can’t figure out why. Any thoughts or ideas?

Still no automatic bridge settings???
No not yet, still a couple of months away I'm afraid.
That would be the game changer
