Just got my gen4 0311p in graphite, they are pure class so easy to swing with rhythm and tempo has improved so much, great feeling as ever and better than my gen3 xp’s. 🇬🇧👍🏻
Hi...loved my Gen 2 SGI irons ....but I then went to Gen 3 XP irons and was a little disappointed .... then yesterday I was fitted for the GEN 4 P irons and all i can say is WOW i love the feel and the flight of the ball off these irons....can't wait for golf season.... cheers all from Canada
I have gen4 irons and swingweight feels way heavier than my gen 2. I don't like that 8g of huge weight thing in the middle. It s ridiculous that pxg told me it can't be interchangeable by myself.
They just coming out with whole kinds of line up becoming normal brand now I feel like.. my gen 2 looks so out dated now it still looks good and performs but man...
Love my PXG irons, was going to upgrade to gen 4. Changed my mind when at $350 a club PXG only offers 2 shafts stock and wants starting at $39 more per club to just get standard Dynamic gold s300 or KBS Tour 120 shafts, crazy that’s more then shaft retail’s for. PXG went from a custom club to a big box set, no options. Callaway has 27 standard steel shafts, why does PXG only have 2?
They are thinking if you can afford the clubs you likely don’t care about paying more for a shaft. Same reason range rovers don’t come standard with retractable running boards or remote start.
@@TubeLawyer1 that is a stupid saying, if my wife buys a custom saddle for her horse at 7k she doesn’t expect to pay extra for it to fit her horse, it’s custom. If I pay for custom full price PXG iron I expect the shaft to work for my swing and if none that come with the club work with faster swing speeds then it’s not a custom club is it? If PXG wants to move down market to big box and not custom that’s fine just don’t pretend to ever sell clubs at full price with custom options, since they have no options now.
@Jake Richard I switched from my PXG gen 1 to Srixon ZX7 over the Pxg gen 4 I tried at Club Champion who fit me for my first Pxg’s. Unfortunately the latest gen 4’s didn’t perform well for me, too draw bias with weighting on the 311t’s which the old were not and had the option of having different perimeter weighting, new is very limited. Gen 4 is also very limited in swing weights as well. Pxg just went mass market instead of more custom.

I actually think the Gen3 0311 XP is the best of the PXG line, and I'm a 5 handicapper.
