The most spot on cover out there! You tuned those kit sounds perfectly. I’m currently in the process of putting together/saving 80s kits through the module of my Alesis electronic kit. Keep on rocking man 🤘🔥😎
Hey brother, I hope all is well. Noticed you haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been with Jaguar Land Rover for almost 7 years now, crazy time in the car business! If you are still in the automotive field I’m sure it’s crazy for you. Be well!!
Hi Glen! Thanks for checking in. Yeah it’s been crazy at my Toyota shop. Since I’m in service and there are no new cars to buy, everyone is repairing what they have so I’ve been working 50+ hour weeks. I still play around once or twice a week but haven’t done much recording. I hope to change that after the Summer but now I’m enjoying the weather so been hanging outside mostly. Do you do Sales or Service w/LR?
The maestro strikes again! I think this cover, with the different fills you added, really exemplifies the amazing skills of Rick Allen who does it all with one arm! Stunning!
Good times brother! It was the first time anyone played “in the round” and it got many of us closer to the stage than ever. I was blown away at all of his pedals and how he switched his feet from snare to kick to cymbal and even Toms! He’s got it figured out. God Bless Rick Allen
You are totally rocking as you always do! Love your style and energy Mike, great song too. I haven't seen your videos for quite some time, and very happy that i looked you up. Great to see there are a whole bunch to go through. I hope you are doing very well in these crazy days.
Hey Col! Good to hear from ya again and hope everything is OK. I’ve been slowing down a bit and working through a couple of medical challenges but still putting out a few covers here and there...Thanks for checking in! Are you still playing as well?
@@mfournier01 I'm sorry to hear you are not in a good place right now medically, and so I offer a prayer for your full recovery my friend. Have faith brother. I drum every single day and always have since i stopped uploading vids. Truth is, if you see my drumheads you will cry, lol!! They are badly worn and torn, and in no state to be seen on any video. i just don't have the spare cash at this point, so it's about priorities i guess. I've been very busy painting for my exhibition late next year, so trying to produce at a good rate. I'm sure business will improve by December then first thing I'll do is renew my drumheads. It'll be great to do upload some of new material, soon. be well Mike. Let's stay in touch.
Mike I am sure you are excited about the tour with Motley Crüe and Poison? Awesome cover it sounds perfect and your drumming is totally rockin!!🤘 Like the gopro camera action as well!!
Thanks Bro! Yes it’s going to be a must see show. Hopefully they come to CT. The GoPro was a thought I had but it’s too shaky to watch for a long time! Cheers
Man, how I love your covers & your drumming style, you totally own this instrument. So relaxed yet tight as hell.. Great idea with that body cam. Great job, Mike! 😎🤘🏻
So as I was driving home from work today, Animal from Hysteria came up on my playlist, and I was like, "This is a good tune for Mike to cover". Well, this is close enough. Awesome job as always.
Haha I guess you hit the nail on the head my friend. I recorded pour some sugar and Animal at the same time but was happy with the way this one came out the best.
Such an epic album. I remember this summer tour. Brendan Byrne Arena, East Rutherford NJ. The stage was round and in the center of the arena and spun like a record. Ahhh the 80's 😜
I'm not a drummer (more of a drum programmer), but I really like these videos!

So much fun to dial in those 80’s sounds! Good luck with the Alexis kit! I used their gear back in the 90’s. Good stuff

Impressive... really good, considering most people just play along and post. Tasty fills as well... you really did Rick justice.
Thanks George. I try to stay as true to the song while adding some of my own style into the drumming! I appreciate your feedback 👍

So true my friend! I love his style and he is still unique with only 3 limbs thanks to electronics 😎
@@mfournier01 You're right, I forgot about his two very talented feet! Good call!
Great job! Rick Allen approved, I'm sure! I was there, Spokane Washington, 1987! GREAT concert! HYSTERIA TOUR, amazing, memories for life!

As always, you’re attention to detail is spot on. Rick Allen is quickly becoming one of my favorite drummers from this era, great job Mike...
He’s got such a cool unique approach regardless of his handicap. Still one of the best rock drummers of our time!
Going to see Crüe and Leppard this year!🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hell yes!!!
#imwiththedrummer 💜🥁
Awww...wish my wife would comment on my drum videos. 😃
Great song choice and excellent sound. Love your camera angles and the drumming as usual killer Mike. Respect my dear friend 😎👍👊✌️
You are too kind Rob! Thanks for your continued support

Great to hear from you Mike! Really appreciate the feedback. The body cam is cool but shaky as hell. I need to use some stabilization next time haha.
What a production! The cherry on the cake is the awesome drum kit! Stunning video, drumming and style!! Always a thrill to see Mike!!
Your too kind Colin! This is just some fun jamming to a classic rock band🤘🏻😜
Really good!! Great drumming
Thanks Gigi! When can we expect to see something new from you?

Spot on dude! Loved it!!! Stick tricks are always badass!! 👍
you are the best 🔥🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻 love this song 🤘🏻
Great job like always! :-D
Awesome drum cover and amazing your getting them sounds from a TD20, a big thumbs up from me.
Awesome job.
Great one!!
Wow! Camera work is as good as your drumming.
🥁after this I will buy an electronic battery🥁
Great job. You should also do Gods of war by Def Leppard next.
Shouldn’t you be doing that with one arm haha
I was expecting these comments. With respect to the amazing Rick Allen, he does more with one arm than many of us could do with two!
