I really like the way you handle the backwards snare sample at the beginning of the song. This is really well played from start to finish. Awesome job man
Soy Juan de Argentina. Es impresionante el feeling que tenés y tu forma tan natural de tocar!!! Muy bueno!! Y si re todo temas de mi juventud cómo éste!!! Felicidades
Nice cymbal work dude.. just started playing drums like 6 months ago and this was one of the songs I picked to really try to learn .. has a good mix of everything for a beginner I feel, great job
Thank you so much for posting this. You did an excellent job! I’m trying to learn this song myself, and I’m watching your video to do so. Thanks for filming it so clearly. It’s really helpful for us beginning aspiring drummers to be able to learn from experts like you!
Wow that was amazing topped with awesome sauce. Could’ve used just a bit more cowbell but I really enjoyed it. I’m telling you…ya gotta want that cowbell!!!
WOW! That was the best cover of this I've ever heard. While scrolling down the comments listening, I honestly couldn't tell it was a cover. You sounded JUST like the original! :) Kudos sir!
Great cover on this Def Leppard classic. Didn't realize how much cymbal work this song entails....BTW, it seems you really enjoyed hitting that cow bell. Rock On!
@@drumandfly6138 A lot of production went into that song. I think Phil stated that at one point in the song, there are 11 different guitars playing at once
Once I met s drummer In my band years very great 7’th in state on snare. 1 thing led to another well happened he likes Rush I was a bass player 🎸 We’d play covers an practice them close as we could on Saturdays 🎉ty for sharing good job
Way back I used to drum this in a band. The cowbell strikes extend through the whole measure, so I just did the cymbals/snare combo with my left hand, which is a cool coordination while continuing the right hand on the cowbell during that drum break. Then I saw the official video, and Allen does not! do that [though you can still hear the cowbell] and he plays it like you did. So then I just stopped doing it the way I was. But it is a cool hand shuffle to learn. Your set looks great.
It's nice to see a full "real" kit too. Nothing wrong with the electronic ones but there's a look and sound that is hard to describe that I enjoy. Oh and I need more cowbell - Christopher Walken. LOL
Clean playing! I think you played it note for note including the snare+crashes during the solo. The crashes are much lower in the original album mix. Awesome job!
I just witnessed the best drum cover of this song..Wowww
Thanks John!
He’s in the pocket for sure, but his dedication ain’t really there. His arm need to go 😂
Totally perfect!! Love the way you hit that cowbell - you're great!!👑👑👑👑👑
I really like the way you handle the backwards snare sample at the beginning of the song. This is really well played from start to finish. Awesome job man
Thanks Steve. Only thing I could of!
I was wondering how he would handle this, and I agree, great job! You can thank Mutt Lange for that on the Pyromania album.
Wow, this is my favorite song by Def Leppard. I’m impressed great job!!!
Many thanks!
Thanks Brian!
Nice cover
Love drumming this
Take me right back to 1982
I have referenced this video many times now (every time I forget those big transition fills)
Thanks for the great video!
Those are the cleanest cymbals I have ever seen! Nice job man! Great cover!
The best cover I have watched and the best part... Giving credits to Def Leppard and Rick Allen. Thank you sir.
Many thanks.
This is the best drum cover I’ve ever seen in my entire life
Holy shit the drums sound god damn great
Many thanks.
I'm sure if Rick Allen watched this he would be proud! Well done!

Wow!!! That was awesome!! Rick Allen is not easy to play whether it's one arm or when he had both like on Pyromania. Amazing playing!!
Well done, man!!! I'd love to hear " Hysteria " by Def Leppard.........I'd love to see you playing that one.......THANKS !!!!
I love that song too. Could be my favorite song mix wise. Sounds perfect.

It’s such a small detail but the cowbell adds so much to the song
Nice bro!!!!

Amazing
Many thanks!
Masters!!!
Many thanks!
Your arm grew back Rick?
That sounds awesome on a real kit. Mutt used a Fairlight drum machine on the record. I'd love to hear that in a mix.
Many thanks
Nice!did u just pull the cymbals out of the shopping cases ? !spot less!lol.great cover!
Crisppppp!
You Nail it!
Thanks!
No disrespect to the band or producer but to my ears this drum cover sounds far better than the drums on the studio recording.
Great job man... “need more cowbell” 😂
Many thanks!
I love this song,,,
Many thanks!
Awesome.
Thanks Patrick.
Another rockin cover :)
Thanks buddy!
Nice one! Damn i need more cymbals in my kit :D
I know right!? Thanks
good job (Y) !
Many thanks!
I personally like this better than the original because of the way you changed the reversed reverb drums at the beginning
Greetings go to Def leppard and Fairlight drum machine :)
Many thanks!
Great drumming. I would like to know what's your LP cowbell series. Awesome rock sound.
Many thanks! I don't know. It's gotta be over 30 years old too.
Nice. If anyone ever looks up rich Redmond, he is Jason Aldeans drummer and he’s the best in county music
Many thanks!
Do you have a video where you talk through your kit and gear?
I did do one of those. Should be in my library.
Where are your overhead mics? What polar pattern are you using? My cymbals are recording too loud.
Many thanks! Try using the Pad feature on them. They are over my left and right crashes .
A una gran batería un gran baterista!
Many thanks!
That was amazing! I was just wondering how do you mount your cowbell on the floor tom like that?
Many thanks! It was mounted on a stand actually.
@@drumandfly6138 that’s a mint set up. It really adds something the cowbell.
such confidence on the cowbell....
Not a Diss. I have used this guys video 100+ times to get it right.
I love Def Leppard but it just goes to show you Rick Allen did not play drums on Pyromania all computerized.
