First, download the driver for this steering: support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/t80ferrari488gtbedition-en/
2nd: Plug in the steering wheel to the usb port and then go to Windows Start, Look for Thrustmaster. You will see two things there, one is Control Panel and another one is Uninstall. Open the Control Panel and the Game Controllers box will appear with the status OK for our Thrustmaster Steering.
3rd: Click Properties and test out all the buttons, pedals. The software will animate when you press something on the steering. Try turning the wheel left to right. If the X-Axis is moving left to right according to the steering, the wheel should be good and ready for racing.

Not bad for a backup wheel. Firmness meaning you have to hold the steering with bit of strength or you must make sure you dont steer too much on the straights line. On the straights, if you turn the steering wheel abit to the left or right, you will crash. Im not sure how you handle in Logitech G29, but for Thrustmaster T80.. this is how it will be. In another words, i can say the steering is very sensitive. Taking the turns, corners no issues. Only straights u have to control the steering well.
And I have been using for more than a year, no problem at all mate. Very good and cheap steering

Yes bro, its not easy to drive in F1 2020 with this steering. But keep practicing and sure you will get it. I struggled alot in the beginning. The key point is you have to hold the steering firmly on the straights. You cannot move a inch when you are speeding on straights, on corners you can move left to right normally but on straights, you have to hold the steering firmly without moving an inch. Try this bro for few times and you will be able to drive perfectly.
