WrightJellymon is my favorite one of the bunch and being a UFO that trolls people sounds so in character of her. And as always all the artists did a lovely job with these evolution designs!
I really like GG despite its flaws, so I'm very happy to see content for it on here! TimeAngoramon and WrightJellymon are my faves but these are all wonderful. Another video idea could be doing this for some of the digimon from other seasons. Sort of like armors but less restrictive in design. Would love to see Agumon or Guilmon get the Gammamon treatment
Being the first episodic Digimon show, there are some clear growing pains. I’m disappointed that they didn’t have additional members like how Digimon Tamers started out with Takato, Rika, and Henry before adding Kazu, Kenta, Jeri, Suzie, and Ryo to the mix. Imagine an episode where Hiro had to fully explain what Digimon were to Nomura, Mika, and Aoi I do wonder what Data evolutions for Gammamon would be like. Maybe putting more of an emphasis on Tanks for Wezen and a jet based design for Kaus
It reminds me a bit of Xros Wars' Hunters arc, because I get the sense that Gammamon was previously in the role of "big bad" & Hunters was an episodic adventure after Bagramon was defeated. They even have similar themes (digimon popping up in the human world & kidnapping/messing with them, fights shift to the Digital World, three main kids)
I have two favorites in this batch. Timeangoramon and Oppen Jellymon. Timeangoramon because of the fact I just love white rabbits and the time theme is unique. Plus the fact that it kinda looks like he's wearing the clothes of the beast from Beauty and the Beast. Oppen Jellymon on the other is good for me because while it looks like TeslaJellymon with a new head piece, I can clearly see it being crueler then TeslaJellymon. And that Digital Hazard symbol is always a plus in my books.
I was really satisfied with the Jellymon line, but my favorite is def Macabreangoramon. Honestly both dark evos look real enough that they could be in the show.
These all look really cool! Gotta say, while BreakAngoramon isn't really something I could see for Rulis Angoramon, it could definitely fit in their relationship, with it feeling like Angoramon goes through pretty much all the Otome-game love interest tropes, the knight in shining armor, the beast to the beauty, the reserved but dedicated nerd... the "too cool for school bad boy" would certainly fit that. Same goes for TimeAngoramon and MacabreAngoramon. Although if there's one thing for me to criticize, it's that they all feel very similar to SymbareAngoramon, there's no "WezenGammamon" with a distinctly different body-type than the others, and I personally am generally a fan of Digimon having a "humanoid" and a "feral"/"beastial" evolution -blame Tamers and Frontier for that, I guess- so none of these going for a more direct path from Angoramon to Lamortmon is... just a bit disappointing? Even though they all look really great. For Jellymon, I feel WrightJellymon accomplishes that kind of role really great, even though the bodys outline is still the same or at least very similar to TeslaJellymons humanoid body. NobelJellymon also manages to differentiate itself from TeslaJellymon really well while still following a similar concept. OppenJellymon is a really great concept. I was suprised by the name, since we're talking about "Tesla", I've been conditioned by the Fate-series to see Edison as Teslas rival, so I expected an EdisonJellymon... -25 hours workdays for all its subjects-
These were really cool! I really love all of the Angoramon evolutions a lot; I could see something like MacabreAngoramon being like the first evolution amongst the three and Ruri being tempted by that power, kind of like Hikari and the Dark Ocean, before Angoramon's love for her breaks through and go into SymbareAngoramon. TimeAngoramon is such a cool design, I love the Carroll theming and using the ears as the clock hands, I could have easily seen that become the regular Champion over SymbareAngoramon, honestly. WrightJellymon is so cute, I love that mischievous streak coming out more, can imagine all of it's attacks being visually conveyed as pranks on the enemy and that's just always a fun idea.
You don't mention it but a lot of people don't pick up on how Jellymons personality is based of of Lum from Urusei Yatsura (a life long favourite of mine) and I just love how by total accident WrightJellymon further references Lum as an alien
TimeAngoramon has got to be my favorite this round, but really all of these were delightful. I'm still so disappointed that we didn't get branching evos for the other two main partners, but alas, we'll just have to keep our fanfic hats on and our artists well-paid for content like this!
Im PRETTY sure that when the US decided to move forward with the Manhattan project, Tesla also had proposed some type of energy beam (death ray) - he called it Teleforce. The claim is that they picked the atomic bomb over the death ray (not sure if thats a true claim, but its at least part of our cultural lore) - so that even mimmicks the rivalry between teslajellymon and oppenjellymon!! At first I was kind of expecting edisonjellymon since their rivalry is well known, but I think oppen is a much better fit!
I can get not exploring it in the show due to time, but not even in the BEM cards feels like such a missed opportunity, especially when they gave Gammamon new evolutions not shown in the show in his BEM card
I love this. Would love to see this with the Digimon of other seasons as well. Anyways, another idea for a Virus-type Jellymon evolution/digivolution would be EdisonJellymon, named after Thomas Edison. She would steal inventions by other Digimon (such as Nanomon/Datamon for example) and claim them to her own inventions. Might be controversial but whatever...
Here’s a What If swap idea for Adventure. The siblings swap. So Tai gets Salamon/Gatomon, Matt gets Patamon, TK gets Gabumon and Kari gets Agumon/Greymon (or however you wanna sort those two out).
Timeangoramon is pretty great. I really wished that they have the same multiple Digivolutions like Gammamon but sadly they did not. Well at least its a really creative Choice. I always liked that Digimon experiments instead of making always the same stuff and stagnating because of it. Hope the next Season or continuation from Ghost Game has also such interesting Ideas.
The honest to god only wasted potential so far for GG was not investing in the fact that each human could partner with each digimon, as seen first in the Frozomon episode, they could have made that each human had a specific evolution for each digimon.
I simp Jellymon hard, and was really curious to see what the GulusGammamon equivalent would be, and OppenJellymon didn't disappoint. I can see her possibly being able to output power to rival a mega, at the cost of her own destruction.
Inspired by you, I did my own "what if me and my friend had digimon partners" mine were pomumon> parasaurmon> toropiamon> bloomlordmon and candlemon> wizardmon> asuramon > marsmon, with tapirmon and syakomon as close alternate choices. My friends were sangomon> shellmon> thetismon> ancientmermaimon and crabmon> ebidramon> anomalocarimon> regalecusmon
Y'know, speaking of the different attributes, it's weird to me that Gammamon's naturally a virus, but his only virus evolution is the evil one. I mean, I guess it plays into that theory that Gulus is his natural future form, but still.
Wow, I love both of Angoramon's "light" digivolutions, as well as NobelJellmon. BreakAngoramon being my absolute favourite. You should know me by now, love of all things punkish and on the Police-Crime Lord spectrum.
i really love the concept of branch evolution (I just wish that they could achieve ultimate forms by combining two branches together and mega by combing all branches together) and these are fantastic love the Alice in wonderland vibes of Timeangoramon
So, I would just like to share an idea I thought of today. This may probably be too short for a video, but here goes. Alternate Ultimates and Megas for Gammamon from both KausGammamon and WezenGammamon.
I had hypothesized that SimbareAngoramon was named after a Cimbalom Dulcimer, based on the ears looking like mallets, and the graceful dance theme cited in the digimon's description. However, based on the Japanese I was told it does not work. BTW, I love OppenJellymon's design!
The Angora in Angoramon's name doesn't just reference the Angora rabbit but also the Angora goat and Turkish Angora (a breed of cat that was first encountered by Europeans in the Angora mountain range), in addition to a physical location on Earth called the Angora mountain range (which is where the Turkish Angora is believed to have originated from). Jellymon, and her evolutions, being able to heal quickly isn't off base either; Jellyfish are actually known for their regenerative abilities and can quickly regrow large chunks of their missing bodies, so a possible alternate evolution for Jellymon could have also been named for someone who innovated the medical field, so Thetismon's healing abilities are a bit more accurate either way.
It's amazing video I always wanted to see what would it look like if Angoramon and Jellymon got branching Digivolutions. Also my favourite is OppenJellymon, and i think it would be amazing if more Digimon got branching Digivolutions like Gammamon.

Ghost game was my first ever foray into Digimon, and I don't know how good it is in comparison to the other shows but as a stand alone anime it's is really, REALLY good in my opinion. I'm very happy to see more content about it, thank you Karn!
Now this was a fun one, but is also a kind of realisation for me personally. Considering Gammamon was the only partner Digimon to get branching digivolutions officially and they kinda made that a big deal, it's a shame they didn't do the same for Angoramon and Jellymon too. But even if they did, we wouldn't get an amazing bunch of designs like these ones. Fantastic work once again, Karen and crew! (Also Oppenjellymon is bloody incredible)
These are awesome man! Congrats to you and the artists! Really in love with the concept (and execution) behind TimeAngoramon, the design is just excellent and oh so creative. Just my two cents: the name ChronoAngoramon would sound better, even for etymology it ties into mythology a bit, loosely connecting the theme of nobility calling back to greek heroes of myth. But that in absolutely no way takes away from what you all accomplished, great job
Interesting to see you and your team's endeavors into creating other line evolutions for the Digimon: Ghost Game Digimon. Especially BreakAngoramon and Time Angoramon, which I think were especially effective in making use of the dance motif, as well as in WrightJellymon and OppenJellymon which I found wsre a clever nods to some historically influential inventors, and neatly incorporating some additional lore, such as WrightJellymon being mistaken for the traditional UFO. Per usual, this was a great video, and I wish the best of luck to you and your associates on future endeavors. As always, I look forward to your next upload!
I love ghost game. Even if I can't tell you the underlying plot, I can tell you fully about the characters, about the digimons individual personalities and hobbies, and more importantly, I have seen them change and grow through the show. Hiro is no longer passive in his adventures, he's become strong and determined and invested, and that growth was only possible because of the slow pace of the story.
These are all amazing, symbareAngoramon has always had such an amazing design to me and his character in the show really helps with it. But writejellymon here is absolutely perfect for an alternative evolution, I can just see how she would get up to mischief if she had access to that form
These are some neat designs and concepts to Branch Evolutions for Angoramon and Jellymon. The ones I like the most from Angoramon's branch lines is BreakAngoramon who has that feel akin to Lucio when it comes to the music theme and Ken from Street Fighter when it comes to his appearance and fighting style. His strength and mild recklessness could be a piece of the personality that plays into Lamortmon's strength and reckless nature. The branch evolution from Jellymon I particularly liked was WrightJellymon as its' concept retains Jellymon's base abilities with a flight form and fight form while having the design of a UFO to go with it. That and of course it retains her usual looks and quirkiness.
Really hope a future season takes the multiple champion forms idea and runs with it like this. Where they use slide evolution as a main mechanic and not just a thing some Digimon can potentially do.
I think that something interesting for a series of videos would be giving anime digimon split human and beast digivilution lines. I’ve noticed it a lot with the patamon and Gatomon lines, where there seems to be one line that follows a beastial nature (pegasusmon and goldramon and Gatomon, nephertimon, and magnadramon), and a line that follows a humanoid nature (angemon, magnaangemon, seraphimon, and angewomon and ophanimon). You can see the start of that theme in other evolution lines, like birdramon and phoenixmom for biyomon’s beast line, and ikakkumon and plesiomon for gomamon’s beast like, and zudomon and vikemon for his humanoid line.
Always nice to see these custom art videos hopefully I can find a way to commission some of these artist. Also more Digimon need a Gulus version in particular as a Sonic fan I certainly have ideas on where a "GulusHerissmon" could go haha.
I liked Ghost Game. With Gammamon’s branching evolutions I was reminded of 02 (rather, my nostalgia of 02), and otherwise it’s storytelling and characters gave me Tamers vibes, which was my favourite season.
A brilliant Idea! Wright Jellymon is awesome! Could you do branching Champions for other Series, like Data Squad or 02? I can even think of some names. Slashmon, YV-mon, Saichanimon and Noctulamon.
Honestly, these are some of the best designs I've ever seen. I wouldn't even say that giving the other partners new evolutions is a novel concept. I would have thought it would be sort of a natural progression for GG to venture into the other digivolutions. I'm about to give up on watching GG for its lack of plot continuity and storytelling. But if they added these in though... I reckon I could sit down for another 50 episodes!
What a cool video. Really cool. I'm gonna be honest, Angoramon's evos look excellent. I like brawlers and Breakeangoramon's design is perfect in concept and design. The only thing I'm not in love with however are the quills on the shoulders... They are too distracting to me as they remind me too much of Garudamon who has nothing to do with Angoramon😅 Macabreangoramon is the absolutely perfect among the three, I love it. As for Timeangoramon, the design is absolutely beautiful. Very elegant, very pretty. You mention how the long ears are reinterpreted in those clock needles which seem to be floating thanks to magic. So I gotta ask, does this version of Angoramon has short ears? Or does it have long ears turned into a high bun kind of hair style? I'm curious and I just wanna understand the design. Speaking of Jellymon fans. Wow, back when I first heard of Digimon Ghost Game, being completely honest, I thought Angoramon was going to be my favorite of the main trio. Or at least my second favorite because I also really like Gammamon a lot. Jellymon was the one I was the least interested in. Same with Ruli and Kiyoshiro. But it was around the time that Jellymon digivolved to Teslajellymon that I saw Jellymon in a different light, same with Kiyoshiro. I remember he kind of annoyed me at the start of the show. But they have really become my favorite duo among the main trio. And in a none romantic way I'm totally in love with Thetismon. I think it's because she sort of make me think of a Sailor Scout like in Sailor Moon (I love that anime) with all the politeness, proper speech, and talk about justice in her first appearance. Also because it's incredibly funny to me how Jellymon and Teslajellymon are basically the same personality and voice but Thetismon is completely different, a whole other side to the character. And I love it. I really love it when Jellymon and her evos have the spotlight. Ok, so, the custom Jellymon evos. Of course the best part of these are the names. Since Tesla was very on the nose, it's obvious Jellymon branching champions had to have more inventors names on their names. You these artists did really well. I love the information on Wrightjellymon and her flight mode. The idea of pranking humans with her ufo appearance is genius and funny xD Then I'm very impressed with Nobeljellymon and Oppenjellymon. Their designs are fantastic and Oppenjellymon's information is terrifying. Absolutely fantastic video and excellent designs!!

OK not exactly related to this video. But I was curious. I was suggested an evolution video for Palmon and Floramon all the way to Rafflesimon. What if each original 8 digi destined had a parallel type digimon that would be similar to them and they each would be able to DNA digivolve together. So Agumon, Gabumon, Patamon could have meichomon be gatomons endgame partner. Apologies on any name spelling butchery I may have made. I guess this is multiverse sorta. Parallel realities where the chosen digimon digivolved via another evolutionary line. Love the content @KarnEX wish I could support more than I'm able to.

Yes!!!!! Ghost Game is good, but it would have been so much better if all the partners got branching evolutions instead of only Gammamon getting it.

I agree yeah, each episode is very enjoyable but I really do like overarching plot resolutions in my Digimon

Timeangoramon is pretty great. I really wished that they have the same multiple Digivolutions like Gammamon but sadly they did not. Well at least its a really creative Choice. I always liked that Digimon experiments instead of making always the same stuff and stagnating because of it. Hope the next Season or continuation from Ghost Game has also such interesting Ideas.
Okay. I love BreakAngoramon! The colour and the design is perfect. It really speaks to me and the type of contained brawler digimon I love.

The honest to god only wasted potential so far for GG was not investing in the fact that each human could partner with each digimon, as seen first in the Frozomon episode, they could have made that each human had a specific evolution for each digimon.
I simp Jellymon hard, and was really curious to see what the GulusGammamon equivalent would be, and OppenJellymon didn't disappoint. I can see her possibly being able to output power to rival a mega, at the cost of her own destruction.
Inspired by you, I did my own "what if me and my friend had digimon partners" mine were pomumon> parasaurmon> toropiamon> bloomlordmon and candlemon> wizardmon> asuramon > marsmon, with tapirmon and syakomon as close alternate choices. My friends were sangomon> shellmon> thetismon> ancientmermaimon and crabmon> ebidramon> anomalocarimon> regalecusmon
Y'know, speaking of the different attributes, it's weird to me that Gammamon's naturally a virus, but his only virus evolution is the evil one. I mean, I guess it plays into that theory that Gulus is his natural future form, but still.

So, I would just like to share an idea I thought of today. This may probably be too short for a video, but here goes.
Alternate Ultimates and Megas for Gammamon from both KausGammamon and WezenGammamon.
I had hypothesized that SimbareAngoramon was named after a Cimbalom Dulcimer, based on the ears looking like mallets, and the graceful dance theme cited in the digimon's description. However, based on the Japanese I was told it does not work. BTW, I love OppenJellymon's design!
I love these, they're so well done. Hopefully you consider doing branch megas too, since Gammamon is getting two megas as well.
The Angora in Angoramon's name doesn't just reference the Angora rabbit but also the Angora goat and Turkish Angora (a breed of cat that was first encountered by Europeans in the Angora mountain range), in addition to a physical location on Earth called the Angora mountain range (which is where the Turkish Angora is believed to have originated from). Jellymon, and her evolutions, being able to heal quickly isn't off base either; Jellyfish are actually known for their regenerative abilities and can quickly regrow large chunks of their missing bodies, so a possible alternate evolution for Jellymon could have also been named for someone who innovated the medical field, so Thetismon's healing abilities are a bit more accurate either way.
TimeAngoramon is so fur bait that it doesn't even look like a digimon anymore. I love him tho

Ghost game was my first ever foray into Digimon, and I don't know how good it is in comparison to the other shows but as a stand alone anime it's is really, REALLY good in my opinion. I'm very happy to see more content about it, thank you Karn!
Now this was a fun one, but is also a kind of realisation for me personally.
Considering Gammamon was the only partner Digimon to get branching digivolutions officially and they kinda made that a big deal, it's a shame they didn't do the same for Angoramon and Jellymon too. But even if they did, we wouldn't get an amazing bunch of designs like these ones.

Just my two cents: the name ChronoAngoramon would sound better, even for etymology it ties into mythology a bit, loosely connecting the theme of nobility calling back to greek heroes of myth.
But that in absolutely no way takes away from what you all accomplished, great job

Interesting to see you and your team's endeavors into creating other line evolutions for the Digimon: Ghost Game Digimon. Especially BreakAngoramon and Time Angoramon, which I think were especially effective in making use of the dance motif, as well as in WrightJellymon and OppenJellymon which I found wsre a clever nods to some historically influential inventors, and neatly incorporating some additional lore, such as WrightJellymon being mistaken for the traditional UFO. Per usual, this was a great video, and I wish the best of luck to you and your associates on future endeavors. As always, I look forward to your next upload!

I love ghost game. Even if I can't tell you the underlying plot, I can tell you fully about the characters, about the digimons individual personalities and hobbies, and more importantly, I have seen them change and grow through the show. Hiro is no longer passive in his adventures, he's become strong and determined and invested, and that growth was only possible because of the slow pace of the story.

These are some neat designs and concepts to Branch Evolutions for Angoramon and Jellymon. The ones I like the most from Angoramon's branch lines is BreakAngoramon who has that feel akin to Lucio when it comes to the music theme and Ken from Street Fighter when it comes to his appearance and fighting style. His strength and mild recklessness could be a piece of the personality that plays into Lamortmon's strength and reckless nature. The branch evolution from Jellymon I particularly liked was WrightJellymon as its' concept retains Jellymon's base abilities with a flight form and fight form while having the design of a UFO to go with it. That and of course it retains her usual looks and quirkiness.

Really hope a future season takes the multiple champion forms idea and runs with it like this. Where they use slide evolution as a main mechanic and not just a thing some Digimon can potentially do.

I think that something interesting for a series of videos would be giving anime digimon split human and beast digivilution lines. I’ve noticed it a lot with the patamon and Gatomon lines, where there seems to be one line that follows a beastial nature (pegasusmon and goldramon and Gatomon, nephertimon, and magnadramon), and a line that follows a humanoid nature (angemon, magnaangemon, seraphimon, and angewomon and ophanimon). You can see the start of that theme in other evolution lines, like birdramon and phoenixmom for biyomon’s beast line, and ikakkumon and plesiomon for gomamon’s beast like, and zudomon and vikemon for his humanoid line.

I liked Ghost Game. With Gammamon’s branching evolutions I was reminded of 02 (rather, my nostalgia of 02), and otherwise it’s storytelling and characters gave me Tamers vibes, which was my favourite season.

Honestly, these are some of the best designs I've ever seen.
I wouldn't even say that giving the other partners new evolutions is a novel concept. I would have thought it would be sort of a natural progression for GG to venture into the other digivolutions. I'm about to give up on watching GG for its lack of plot continuity and storytelling. But if they added these in though... I reckon I could sit down for another 50 episodes!

I'm gonna be honest, Angoramon's evos look excellent. I like brawlers and Breakeangoramon's design is perfect in concept and design. The only thing I'm not in love with however are the quills on the shoulders... They are too distracting to me as they remind me too much of Garudamon who has nothing to do with Angoramon😅
Macabreangoramon is the absolutely perfect among the three, I love it.
As for Timeangoramon, the design is absolutely beautiful. Very elegant, very pretty. You mention how the long ears are reinterpreted in those clock needles which seem to be floating thanks to magic. So I gotta ask, does this version of Angoramon has short ears? Or does it have long ears turned into a high bun kind of hair style? I'm curious and I just wanna understand the design.
Speaking of Jellymon fans. Wow, back when I first heard of Digimon Ghost Game, being completely honest, I thought Angoramon was going to be my favorite of the main trio. Or at least my second favorite because I also really like Gammamon a lot. Jellymon was the one I was the least interested in. Same with Ruli and Kiyoshiro.
But it was around the time that Jellymon digivolved to Teslajellymon that I saw Jellymon in a different light, same with Kiyoshiro. I remember he kind of annoyed me at the start of the show. But they have really become my favorite duo among the main trio. And in a none romantic way I'm totally in love with Thetismon. I think it's because she sort of make me think of a Sailor Scout like in Sailor Moon (I love that anime) with all the politeness, proper speech, and talk about justice in her first appearance. Also because it's incredibly funny to me how Jellymon and Teslajellymon are basically the same personality and voice but Thetismon is completely different, a whole other side to the character. And I love it. I really love it when Jellymon and her evos have the spotlight.
Ok, so, the custom Jellymon evos. Of course the best part of these are the names. Since Tesla was very on the nose, it's obvious Jellymon branching champions had to have more inventors names on their names. You these artists did really well.
I love the information on Wrightjellymon and her flight mode. The idea of pranking humans with her ufo appearance is genius and funny xD Then I'm very impressed with Nobeljellymon and Oppenjellymon. Their designs are fantastic and Oppenjellymon's information is terrifying.

OK not exactly related to this video. But I was curious. I was suggested an evolution video for Palmon and Floramon all the way to Rafflesimon. What if each original 8 digi destined had a parallel type digimon that would be similar to them and they each would be able to DNA digivolve together. So Agumon, Gabumon, Patamon could have meichomon be gatomons endgame partner. Apologies on any name spelling butchery I may have made. I guess this is multiverse sorta. Parallel realities where the chosen digimon digivolved via another evolutionary line. Love the content @KarnEX wish I could support more than I'm able to.

It’s challenging for me to pick A Fave. One of the reasons why I tie Gammamon w/ Angromon as MY Digimon of this Series is cause of His Ability to switch Champ Forms. With everybody havin it, it’s simply Tons of Fun to switch each One on the fly OR make A Combo of their diff. Forms to Team-up in w/c not just those of The Same “Battle Type”...BUT if I had to choose:
- Angromon: …ALL 4🥿🎧⏱💀 With these Forms, Angromon wouldv’e solidified as MY Fave GhostGame Partner😅🥰
- Jellymon: Wright🛸 AND Oppen☢️
Oppenjellymon has dreaper tentacles, cool!
