They kinda do, sure they only have their fusion form for ultimates, but their fusion forms do have mega forms. Those being Imperialdramon, Valkrimon, and Slash Angemon. It would be cool to see non fusion Megas and ultimates though. Especially with Armadillomon since both his mega and fusion look nothing like him and don’t take much from him.

I've always loved Coronamon, but Guilmon's storyline is just too good. Starting from a relatively innocent little digimon who looks more ferocious than other rookies, said to be "guilty" of harboring some catastrophic power. then he goes into Growlmon and we actually get to see some of this power in action, turning him into a ferocious beast that even Takato had a hard time controling if I remember correctly. then they try to control this power using technology with WarGrowlmon, but it doesn't help when it digivolves into Megidramon - a dark dragon god of the apocalypse. this power they've been hinting at from the start is fully unleashed and threatens to destroy the whole world. but thanks to his tamer, he manages to save himself and digivolve into something else - Gallantmon. by introducing a human element for the first time in this evolutionary line, not only did they manage to control this power, but harness it for a just cause. and all it took was a good tamer. and then there's crimson mode I guess idk lmao
It's scary how much we have in common. The Veemon/WormmonTerriermon/Lopmon are among my favorites as well I love the twin dynamic between Terriermon and Lopmon but also how they contrast starting out as little Dog/Rabbit hybrids with contrasting personalities and they only get more distinct as the digivolve (Terriermon's line being hyper, high tech hunting doggos and Lopmon's line being chill (until they arent)martial arts spirit bunnies. I'm actually not too fond of Veedramon anymore but I love Exveemon and the other forms and literally all of his armor forms are fantastic. Wormmon is precious and I'm pretty satisfied with his base evolutions. It kinda sucks that he cant use the Digi Egg of Courage without becoming evil.
Apparently, I am just a basic bitch so the Dorumon line from the X-Evolution movie has always been the one for me. Dorimon -> Dorumon -> Dorugamon -> Dorugreymon -> Alphamon

Dinobeemon is my favorite digimon. I find it the physical fighting version of Paildramon, and I love that it has the more beastly nature of the two, more vicious. If I had a story as a tamer, id say I had started with Wormon, went to Stingmon, got Jewelbeemon, who became GranKuwagamon but became too violent and powerful for me to control, the devolved to Dinobeemon as a kind of test for me. Having to learn to work with the raging beast that is DBM before he can become Imperialdramon.
my favourite digivolution line is definitely the hackmon line. i love it when it becomes from a puppy dragon to a actual living sword on sword legs with sword tail and swords on his hands. its just such an underated royal knight

Some pretty nice picks! Funny enough, I actually like the corrupted Lopmon line more than the good one. I also love the Keramon and Gazimon lines as well. Something about the villains in the movies just strikes a chord with me
My favorite evolution line is pretty obious, Palmon! She’s always been my favorite of the first chosen children Digimon. My mother loves gardening and I love flowers so Palmon has always been close to my heart. I’ve always liked Togemon. Lilimon is my favorite Ultimate. Just the cute design with the boots and the flower skirt makes her so perfect. Rosemon is such a beautiful Mega for Palmon and roses are my favorite flower.
I personally love the Dracomon line. My partner would definitely be a Dracomon with his evolution line specifically going like this. Petitmon -> BabyDmon -> Dracomon -> CoreDramon (Blue) -> WingDramon -> SlayerDramon

I’ve always been on and off as a Digimon fan as I watched fusion, and some zero 2 as a kid. But my favorite line other than wormmon is betamon. I always loved aquatic animals and betamon looked like a frog and a shark were fused together which are my favorite animals.Also seadramon plus mega and metal look so cool as well. All of them look like sea serpents or oarfish which always are badass. I don’t know of anything else he digivolves off of as I don’t know much and I haven’t played hackers memory (or finished cyber sleuth yet) sadly, but if I had the choice of a partner, you best be betting that I’m picking betamon.
I Don't know why but I've always loved the different devimon lines, whether it involves murmukusmon, myotismon or (more recently) donedevimon I just think they are so cool
I may be a bit... basic here, but I love the Dorumon line, but more specifically: the good line First you got Dodomon, who is an adorable fluffball that pretty much screams "don't touch me, or I'll bite you, your lucky I can only bounce" then you got Dorimon, which is pretty much Dodomon with legs, and it going "what did I tell you about touching me!? You better run!" But then you got Dorumon, which it's features becoming more pronounced, the gem on its forehead finally appearing and it becomes more cute yet still keeping that fierce air, kinda like in the movie where it's more akin to a child. In comes Dorugamon, becoming fiercer and being able to fly while still showing that Dorumon body shape. Dorugreymon is a strange one, but I like it. It has features on it that do show it being from the Greymon line like the horns and the stripes, while still keeping what made Dorugamon, even making it a quadruped and a hint of it's true potential. Then my favorite aspect: the mega. While it's not explicitly stated, I always saw it being a parallel to the Megidomon/Chaosgallantmon aspect where it's what some people saw it as. In this case, both are very powerful and capable, with Alphamon being the more "condensed" version, being the leader of the royal knights, with a slick colour scheme of black and gold and with it's power being more focused. But on the other hand you have Dorugoramon, which is much bigger and more raw strength with it's abilities, putting it's body and soul into it's attacks
The Patamon line is my favorite by far, it's got a nice design on it's own but on top of that i've always thought angel were really cool. I also really love pegasusmon (shame that most of Patamons other armor digivolutions aren't that great though)

I've always thought the Veemon's true ultimate form would be a non-golden magnamon, similar to how terriermon can use the golden egg to turn into golden rapidmon but his ultimate form is a green rapidmon. Basically stingmon's dna was just a catalyst to get veemon into a ultimate form so veemon can digivolve to its mega.
I have a lot of digimon I like but if were gonna go number 1 for me would be renamon line (I have some issues with taomon but it kinda works somehow but all that goes away cause I have a lot bias towards sakuyamon) And regarding lunamon vs coronamon I'm biased towards lunamon cause I played dusk hellava lot more than I played dawn In regards to holy digimon Ophanimon over pink Dragon (sorry not a fan of that line) I always always think angewomons line to and up with ophanimon ..... Also the lack to tail ring makes gatomon weaker thats why despite it being champion its treated as a rookie due to the loss of its tail ring also cause of that I think cause of the lack of tail ring she wasn't able to become ophanimon I think..... Anyway.... My top 10 would be 1 Renamon 2 Lunamon 3 Gatomon (to Ophanimon) 4 gabumon 5 kazemon (the whole frontier shtick) 6 well in game digimon dusk she's on pagumon line which is lady devimon line (which is also from impmon line dunno why) to lilithmon 7-10 Palmon to rosemon (over lalamon to t rosemon), Guilmon, Biyomon (to phoenixmon) and 10th would be I dunno her cannon line but Minervamon Do I have bias towards female humanoid digimon maybe but also cause those are the digimons I use in Dusk apart from the holy digimons and kazemon cause she's not in dawn and dusk anyway yeah most of my fav. Digimon is crammed up into one game which in have over 80hrs. Of that's how long I played digimon world dusk

Super mainstream I know, but since I first watched X-Evolution I have loved it. 3-Punimon, Tunomon, Elecmon, Leomon, Panjyamon, Bancho Leomon / Regulumon. Here I have to cheat because I have no way of deciding which Ultimate (Mega) I like the most from the Leomon line, it has always been one of my favorite species and its appearances in Savers and V-Tamer made me fall in love on the spot with its designs. I just wish Regulumon had representation today. 4-Nyokimon, Tanemon, Palmon, Togemon, Lilimon, Rosemon ... Rosemom Burst Mode, it's possible. As a child I was never a fan of the Rosemon line on any product, but recently I started to be very fond of it and now it is one of my favorites without a doubt. 5-Bubbmon, Motimon, Tentomon, Kabuterimon, Atlur Kabuterimon, Herakle Kabuterimon, Tyrant Kabuterimon. Bug Digimon have always been a favorite of mine, and I feel like this is the perfect line for their king. That would be it, sorry for the long comment, I have a bad habit of doing it and it seems that many do not like it... Anyway, keep it up, maybe one day I will subscribe if I feel that your videos are already to my liking, I've seen a couple and I still feel like something is missing, but I'm not sure what it is... I've barely watched any of their medium and find them to be kinda boring as a concept. Yeah it's weird, some wikis list those pre-evolutions and some don't, I guess cause they're from more obscure medium. Easy mistake and one I don't particularly care about as it's how I'd Digivolve them anyway. I must say that by far I consider you to be the best English-speaking Digimon content creator that I have seen in a long time, the vast majority does not convince me at all since they tend to make too many mistakes and never do anything to improve, with your channel I have much faith that my expectations will be met in the near future, keep it up! PS: Really? I love the Olympos, I even like them a little more than the Royal Knights, maybe it's because I have a slight obsession with Greek and Roman mythologies ... But hey, each person has their own tastes.

as simple as it is, i like the concept of Agumon, going to Greymon, then Metalgreymon Alterous, then Blitzgreymon, it's a nice ranged counterpart to the main Agumon line and i adore it in all it's simplicity.
When you first mentioned that you weren't going to imperial for Wormmon I thought you were going to go to Fujinmon for Worms Mega, never heard of the Bancho Mega but I like it
I love Calumon/Culumon. I always wanted a evolution line for them. EDIT: I've always imagined Calumon's mega level being Mastemon. As crazy as it sounds, Mastemon can roam freely through dimensions. Calumon strikes me as a insightful free spirit, based on what I saw in Tamers.
Hawkmon into Aquilamon into Silphymon, into Valkyrimon is probably my favorite line. Runner up is likely Betamon into Seadramon into Megaseadramon into Metalseadramon into Gigaseadramon

My favorite individual digimon is BlackGatomon, and my top group is Gatomon's, but, I kinda don't like most of her basic line. Nyaromon is good, Salamon is a dog for some reason, then Angewomon is just, nah. Ophanimon and Magnadramon are both pretty solid. But, where Gatomon really shines is in the DNA digivolution options. Gatomon + Hawkmon = Silphymon, great. Valkyrimon as a Digivolution of Silphymon, awesome. Angewomon + LadyDevimon = Mastemon, PERFECTION. Ophanimon Falldown Mode + Raguelmon = Ordinemon, okay I guess. Hey, can't all be winners. Oooh. Maybe we'll get a Ophanimon + Rasielmon option in the new adventure anime? My favorite straightforward line is probably Keramon's line? Nice to have an Ultra at the top.
My favorite digimon line(s) has got to be the Dorumon family. I love the designs for Dorugamon and Dorugreymon, and then it can either turn into the royal knight Alphamon OR Dorugoramon(which is my favorite mega digimon). And that's not all because Dorumon can also diverge into a line of Dex(Death-x) digimon and the lore behind the Dex line is just so flipping cool that I highly encourage people to look into it. The designs for DexDorugamon and DexDorugreymon are just so badass and DexDorugora just absolutely blows my mind. And then there's Dexmon which, according to the wiki, CAN'T EVEN BE CLASSIFIED AS A DIGIMON due to its lack of a digicore and that just makes it even more of badass to me. Discovering all this a couple years ago when I decided to do some research on Dorumon really sealed the deal for me, there's just so much fascinating information about not only Dorumon but the X-Antibody as well that I just can't help but think about it whenever someone askes what my favorite digimon is

For me its Dorumon. (Funny enought my favorite digimon). I love the lore behind it, as of this small carrier of the x-antibody, that other digimons, wanted to murder, to survive the x-protocol. And how it turns from a lonely scared kid almost, to the leader of the Royal Knights, and a digimon swearing to keep the digital world of the same kind of harm it had to see. Or go for its none movie lore, the fact its said to be a prototype digimon, one that was around before digimons like agumon, is also neat. Plus the moment it turned into Alphamon, and the seat thats been empty for many years, got filled was amazing.
I've always been a sucker for the Guilmon line (Gallantmon over Megidramon but only by a little bit) and the Dorumon line (Alphamon is my lean but Dorugoramon is bonkers). As for notes, both Lopmon and Antylamon appear in the movie for a bit; Antylamon appears to fight the team for a minute or so before it becomes Cherubimon and Lopmon is apparently seen at the end of the original Japanese cut.

My personal favorite digimon line is Gotsumon>Icemon>Meteormon specifically because it's literally the same digimon but another color and I always found that absolutely hilarious.
BlackAgumon -> BlackGreymon -> BlackMetalGreymon -> Blitzgreymon , can't quite put it but Wargreymon with Canon and guns look more better then the normal greymon line and Omnimon Alter-S scream "KNEEL BEFORE ME, PEASANT" which look really dope
Honesty dig the filmon design. Sharp kinda pokey “cool” type. Consistent through digivolition from Herissmon. Just badass, identifiable and nice to look at.
I don't disagree it's consistent for sure. I think Filmon looks weirdly naked and Stefilmon has a terrifyingly human face that makes me hate it but each to their own, is all subjective lol

For me Impmon is my favorite but i made my own Ultra level for it. Kiimon-yaamon-impmon-wizardmom/(lunarwizardmon)-baalmon-beelzemon(this version only had swords cus im not a gun person, cus why get rid of the magic from the prior lines along with the sword from the last line n sub guns)-Umbramon (dont know if people already took that name or if at this point it is a canon name, but think of Beelzemon’s mask covering the whole face, removing the center eye and giving him horns while adding two eye slightly lower and to the side of the original eyes. Black long hair. Kind of a turtleneck sleeveless armor, similar syle pants and boots, some sort of sleeveless jacket that goes down to the feet, the color has the same fur that the prior form has but silver, the jacket itself looks like a night sky. Retaining the tail just a bit longer and alot thinner and adding an extra tail. Light brown skin similar to the fur color of flamemon, long black nails, silver arm gauntlets and a silver hilt sword with a long blade that looks like the night sky similar to his jacket. Yes he pulls the sword out of the jacket) to me he has embraced the demonic nature but it doesn’t rule him.

I like Strabimon’s line (Lobomon). We never saw that in the anime or games so it’s not that well known. Only Agunimon’s pre-digivolution was shown (Flamon) and acknowledged by some people. It’s not fair that the other spirits didn’t get proper pre-digivolutions. What’s worse is that they never use Strabimon or Flamon as digivolutions in the games. Flamon was only used twice as a playable character but I don’t think that it should count
Stingmon is kino digimon design. It's just perfect. Also, you have pretty much made me realize why i dislike the veemon line as it's essentially just exveemon with costume upgrades, shafting stingmon in the process. I'm glad jewelbeemon exists because dinobeemon imo is a terrible design. Before banchostingmon was a thing, i could also see stingmon going the tigervespamon route. My favorite line will always be impmon. Love that lil guy.
I would love the Terriermon line the most if not for MegaGargomon. I really can't stand that one. Gargomon and Rapidmon are so cool looking, but MegaGargomon looks so derpy. I hope that one day the line will get an alternative mega evolution.

my headcanon for paildramon and dinobeemon is in ancient times exveemon and stingmon were territorial rivals and would fight each other often, resulting in the strongest ones collecting an excessive amount of the other's data, leading to an evulotion heavily influenced by the others data. So an Exveemon would become a Paildramon and a Stingmon would become Dinobeemon, without DNA digivolution. And then in 02 by DNA digivolving they accelerate the process of course. just headcanon though

Lopmon's line is one of my absolute favorites as well. I don't care for either Turuiemon or Windigomon though, so I was thankful that in Digimon World DS Lopmon could go through Wizardmon and still result in Antylamon. I wish they had kept that in Digimon Story Cybersleuth. For now it is just in my personal head canon. I love the games because you don't have to 100% follow any one line. As far as the anime though: I am 100% weak for the Agumon line. Greymon is to this day among my favorite champion levels. I also agree though: Stingmon is very underappreciated by the designers if you stick with the DNA line TwT
I think Grankuwagamon and Grandiskuwagamon is a better ender for the Stingmon line, it's a perfect equivalent to imperialdramon. It has the quadruped mode that evolves further into a bipedal mode, has the red hair from stingmon. Understandably Grankuwagamon can also evolve from a multitude of prior forms, but evolving from dinobeemon just feels right.
always partial to Veemon and worm mon too, completely agree stingmon got shafted in the merge. but all-time favorite is terriermon, but i hate his mega. goes from this sleek futuristic armored alien to a giant clock with missiles lol. i think they should have a mega that isn't bio-merge.

They kinda do, sure they only have their fusion form for ultimates, but their fusion forms do have mega forms. Those being Imperialdramon, Valkrimon, and Slash Angemon. It would be cool to see non fusion Megas and ultimates though. Especially with Armadillomon since both his mega and fusion look nothing like him and don’t take much from him.

I've always loved Coronamon, but Guilmon's storyline is just too good. Starting from a relatively innocent little digimon who looks more ferocious than other rookies, said to be "guilty" of harboring some catastrophic power. then he goes into Growlmon and we actually get to see some of this power in action, turning him into a ferocious beast that even Takato had a hard time controling if I remember correctly. then they try to control this power using technology with WarGrowlmon, but it doesn't help when it digivolves into Megidramon - a dark dragon god of the apocalypse. this power they've been hinting at from the start is fully unleashed and threatens to destroy the whole world. but thanks to his tamer, he manages to save himself and digivolve into something else - Gallantmon. by introducing a human element for the first time in this evolutionary line, not only did they manage to control this power, but harness it for a just cause. and all it took was a good tamer.
and then there's crimson mode I guess idk lmao

It's scary how much we have in common. The Veemon/WormmonTerriermon/Lopmon are among my favorites as well
I love the twin dynamic between Terriermon and Lopmon but also how they contrast starting out as little Dog/Rabbit hybrids with contrasting personalities and they only get more distinct as the digivolve (Terriermon's line being hyper, high tech hunting doggos and Lopmon's line being chill (until they arent)martial arts spirit bunnies.
I'm actually not too fond of Veedramon anymore but I love Exveemon and the other forms and literally all of his armor forms are fantastic.
Wormmon is precious and I'm pretty satisfied with his base evolutions. It kinda sucks that he cant use the Digi Egg of Courage without becoming evil.

Dinobeemon is my favorite digimon. I find it the physical fighting version of Paildramon, and I love that it has the more beastly nature of the two, more vicious. If I had a story as a tamer, id say I had started with Wormon, went to Stingmon, got Jewelbeemon, who became GranKuwagamon but became too violent and powerful for me to control, the devolved to Dinobeemon as a kind of test for me. Having to learn to work with the raging beast that is DBM before he can become Imperialdramon.

I’ve always been on and off as a Digimon fan as I watched fusion, and some zero 2 as a kid. But my favorite line other than wormmon is betamon. I always loved aquatic animals and betamon looked like a frog and a shark were fused together which are my favorite animals.Also seadramon plus mega and metal look so cool as well. All of them look like sea serpents or oarfish which always are badass. I don’t know of anything else he digivolves off of as I don’t know much and I haven’t played hackers memory (or finished cyber sleuth yet) sadly, but if I had the choice of a partner, you best be betting that I’m picking betamon.
I Don't know why but I've always loved the different devimon lines, whether it involves murmukusmon, myotismon or (more recently) donedevimon I just think they are so cool

I may be a bit... basic here, but I love the Dorumon line, but more specifically: the good line
First you got Dodomon, who is an adorable fluffball that pretty much screams "don't touch me, or I'll bite you, your lucky I can only bounce" then you got Dorimon, which is pretty much Dodomon with legs, and it going "what did I tell you about touching me!? You better run!"
But then you got Dorumon, which it's features becoming more pronounced, the gem on its forehead finally appearing and it becomes more cute yet still keeping that fierce air, kinda like in the movie where it's more akin to a child. In comes Dorugamon, becoming fiercer and being able to fly while still showing that Dorumon body shape. Dorugreymon is a strange one, but I like it. It has features on it that do show it being from the Greymon line like the horns and the stripes, while still keeping what made Dorugamon, even making it a quadruped and a hint of it's true potential.
Then my favorite aspect: the mega. While it's not explicitly stated, I always saw it being a parallel to the Megidomon/Chaosgallantmon aspect where it's what some people saw it as. In this case, both are very powerful and capable, with Alphamon being the more "condensed" version, being the leader of the royal knights, with a slick colour scheme of black and gold and with it's power being more focused. But on the other hand you have Dorugoramon, which is much bigger and more raw strength with it's abilities, putting it's body and soul into it's attacks
I like rock/earth digimon there really overlooked and wizard digimon underplayed I think

I've always thought the Veemon's true ultimate form would be a non-golden magnamon, similar to how terriermon can use the golden egg to turn into golden rapidmon but his ultimate form is a green rapidmon.
Basically stingmon's dna was just a catalyst to get veemon into a ultimate form so veemon can digivolve to its mega.

I have a lot of digimon I like but if were gonna go number 1 for me would be renamon line (I have some issues with taomon but it kinda works somehow but all that goes away cause I have a lot bias towards sakuyamon)
And regarding lunamon vs coronamon I'm biased towards lunamon cause I played dusk hellava lot more than I played dawn
In regards to holy digimon Ophanimon over pink Dragon (sorry not a fan of that line) I always always think angewomons line to and up with ophanimon ..... Also the lack to tail ring makes gatomon weaker thats why despite it being champion its treated as a rookie due to the loss of its tail ring also cause of that I think cause of the lack of tail ring she wasn't able to become ophanimon I think..... Anyway.... My top 10 would be

2 Lunamon
3 Gatomon (to Ophanimon)
4 gabumon
5 kazemon (the whole frontier shtick)
6 well in game digimon dusk she's on pagumon line which is lady devimon line (which is also from impmon line dunno why) to lilithmon

Do I have bias towards female humanoid digimon maybe but also cause those are the digimons I use in Dusk apart from the holy digimons and kazemon cause she's not in dawn and dusk anyway yeah most of my fav. 2-Dodomon, Dorimon, Dorumon, Dorugamon, Doruguremon, Alphamon. Super mainstream I know, but since I first watched X-Evolution I have loved it.
3-Punimon, Tunomon, Elecmon, Leomon, Panjyamon, Bancho Leomon / Regulumon. Here I have to cheat because I have no way of deciding which Ultimate (Mega) I like the most from the Leomon line, it has always been one of my favorite species and its appearances in Savers and V-Tamer made me fall in love on the spot with its designs. I just wish Regulumon had representation today.
4-Nyokimon, Tanemon, Palmon, Togemon, Lilimon, Rosemon ... Rosemom Burst Mode, it's possible. As a child I was never a fan of the Rosemon line on any product, but recently I started to be very fond of it and now it is one of my favorites without a doubt.
5-Bubbmon, Motimon, Tentomon, Kabuterimon, Atlur Kabuterimon, Herakle Kabuterimon, Tyrant Kabuterimon. Bug Digimon have always been a favorite of mine, and I feel like this is the perfect line for their king.
That would be it, sorry for the long comment, I have a bad habit of doing it and it seems that many do not like it... Yeah literally just a slip of the tongue misreading the Roman numerals. I've barely watched any of their medium and find them to be kinda boring as a concept.
Yeah it's weird, some wikis list those pre-evolutions and some don't, I guess cause they're from more obscure medium. Easy mistake and one I don't particularly care about as it's how I'd Digivolve them anyway.
Gotta also bare in mind these are unscripted and I can't do much about it once they're out there to fix mistakes other than be more diligent in later videos which I have been :)

I must say that by far I consider you to be the best English-speaking Digimon content creator that I have seen in a long time, the vast majority does not convince me at all since they tend to make too many mistakes and never do anything to improve, with your channel I have much faith that my expectations will be met in the near future, keep it up!

My favorite individual digimon is BlackGatomon, and my top group is Gatomon's, but, I kinda don't like most of her basic line. Nyaromon is good, Salamon is a dog for some reason, then Angewomon is just, nah. Ophanimon and Magnadramon are both pretty solid. But, where Gatomon really shines is in the DNA digivolution options. Gatomon + Hawkmon = Silphymon, great. Valkyrimon as a Digivolution of Silphymon, awesome. Angewomon + LadyDevimon = Mastemon, PERFECTION. Ophanimon Falldown Mode + Raguelmon = Ordinemon, okay I guess. Hey, can't all be winners. Oooh. Maybe we'll get a Ophanimon + Rasielmon option in the new adventure anime? My favorite straightforward line is probably Keramon's line? Nice to have an Ultra at the top.
I still have an Imperialdramon toy from when i was a kid, which can transform from Dragon to Fighter Mode, it's pretty cool tbh! :D

My favorite digimon line(s) has got to be the Dorumon family. I love the designs for Dorugamon and Dorugreymon, and then it can either turn into the royal knight Alphamon OR Dorugoramon(which is my favorite mega digimon). And that's not all because Dorumon can also diverge into a line of Dex(Death-x) digimon and the lore behind the Dex line is just so flipping cool that I highly encourage people to look into it. The designs for DexDorugamon and DexDorugreymon are just so badass and DexDorugora just absolutely blows my mind. And then there's Dexmon which, according to the wiki, CAN'T EVEN BE CLASSIFIED AS A DIGIMON due to its lack of a digicore and that just makes it even more of badass to me. Discovering all this a couple years ago when I decided to do some research on Dorumon really sealed the deal for me, there's just so much fascinating information about not only Dorumon but the X-Antibody as well that I just can't help but think about it whenever someone askes what my favorite digimon is

For me its Dorumon. (Funny enought my favorite digimon).
I love the lore behind it, as of this small carrier of the x-antibody, that other digimons, wanted to murder, to survive the x-protocol.
And how it turns from a lonely scared kid almost, to the leader of the Royal Knights, and a digimon swearing to keep the digital world of the same kind of harm it had to see.
Or go for its none movie lore, the fact its said to be a prototype digimon, one that was around before digimons like agumon, is also neat.
Plus the moment it turned into Alphamon, and the seat thats been empty for many years, got filled was amazing.
I've always been a sucker for the Guilmon line (Gallantmon over Megidramon but only by a little bit) and the Dorumon line (Alphamon is my lean but Dorugoramon is bonkers). As for notes, both Lopmon and Antylamon appear in the movie for a bit; Antylamon appears to fight the team for a minute or so before it becomes Cherubimon and Lopmon is apparently seen at the end of the original Japanese cut.

My personal favorite digimon line is Gotsumon>Icemon>Meteormon specifically because it's literally the same digimon but another color and I always found that absolutely hilarious.

Honesty dig the filmon design. Sharp kinda pokey “cool” type. Consistent through digivolition from Herissmon. Just badass, identifiable and nice to look at.
I don't disagree it's consistent for sure. I think Filmon looks weirdly naked and Stefilmon has a terrifyingly human face that makes me hate it but each to their own, is all subjective lol

For me Impmon is my favorite but i made my own Ultra level for it. Kiimon-yaamon-impmon-wizardmom/(lunarwizardmon)-baalmon-beelzemon(this version only had swords cus im not a gun person, cus why get rid of the magic from the prior lines along with the sword from the last line n sub guns)-Umbramon (dont know if people already took that name or if at this point it is a canon name, but think of Beelzemon’s mask covering the whole face, removing the center eye and giving him horns while adding two eye slightly lower and to the side of the original eyes. Black long hair. Kind of a turtleneck sleeveless armor, similar syle pants and boots, some sort of sleeveless jacket that goes down to the feet, the color has the same fur that the prior form has but silver, the jacket itself looks like a night sky. Retaining the tail just a bit longer and alot thinner and adding an extra tail. Light brown skin similar to the fur color of flamemon, long black nails, silver arm gauntlets and a silver hilt sword with a long blade that looks like the night sky similar to his jacket. Yes he pulls the sword out of the jacket) to me he has embraced the demonic nature but it doesn’t rule him.
One day ill find someone to get this idea commissioned (‘-‘ )

I like Strabimon’s line (Lobomon). We never saw that in the anime or games so it’s not that well known. Only Agunimon’s pre-digivolution was shown (Flamon) and acknowledged by some people. It’s not fair that the other spirits didn’t get proper pre-digivolutions. What’s worse is that they never use Strabimon or Flamon as digivolutions in the games. Flamon was only used twice as a playable character but I don’t think that it should count
My top three Digimon lines are Dracomon, Guilmon, and Coronamon.

Stingmon is kino digimon design. It's just perfect. Also, you have pretty much made me realize why i dislike the veemon line as it's essentially just exveemon with costume upgrades, shafting stingmon in the process. I'm glad jewelbeemon exists because dinobeemon imo is a terrible design. Before banchostingmon was a thing, i could also see stingmon going the tigervespamon route.
My favorite line will always be impmon. Love that lil guy.

I would love the Terriermon line the most if not for MegaGargomon. I really can't stand that one. Gargomon and Rapidmon are so cool looking, but MegaGargomon looks so derpy. I hope that one day the line will get an alternative mega evolution.

my headcanon for paildramon and dinobeemon is in ancient times exveemon and stingmon were territorial rivals and would fight each other often, resulting in the strongest ones collecting an excessive amount of the other's data, leading to an evulotion heavily influenced by the others data. So an Exveemon would become a Paildramon and a Stingmon would become Dinobeemon, without DNA digivolution. And then in 02 by DNA digivolving they accelerate the process of course. just headcanon though
Betamon. Just Betamon. They are so. effing. CUTE! Been in love with him since Digimon World first came out in '99(?). I honestly don't like the rest of the line that much though xD
Lopmon's line is one of my absolute favorites as well. I don't care for either Turuiemon or Windigomon though, so I was thankful that in Digimon World DS Lopmon could go through Wizardmon and still result in Antylamon. I wish they had kept that in Digimon Story Cybersleuth. For now it is just in my personal head canon. I love the games because you don't have to 100% follow any one line. As far as the anime though: I am 100% weak for the Agumon line. Greymon is to this day among my favorite champion levels.
I also agree though: Stingmon is very underappreciated by the designers if you stick with the DNA line TwT
Not gonna lie. I always thought Darkdramon should have been Cyberdragon's Mega. They look too similar
The London line going down the dark path is my favorite tied with the Veedramon line! I also am a huge fan of the Dracmon and Impmon lines!
I think Grankuwagamon and Grandiskuwagamon is a better ender for the Stingmon line, it's a perfect equivalent to imperialdramon. It has the quadruped mode that evolves further into a bipedal mode, has the red hair from stingmon.
Understandably Grankuwagamon can also evolve from a multitude of prior forms, but evolving from dinobeemon just feels right.

always partial to Veemon and worm mon too, completely agree stingmon got shafted in the merge. but all-time favorite is terriermon, but i hate his mega. goes from this sleek futuristic armored alien to a giant clock with missiles lol. i think they should have a mega that isn't bio-merge.
Even though it’s a really basic answer the original Agumon line is probably the best overall in my view.
