    Thanks for the video Big Chief! I'm typically not a fan of straight through sounding exhaust systems but it does sound like you've struck a nice balance there!

    That bike is sexy af. I wish I could afford one of those. Imo looks better than the streetbob and that exhaust adds to it

    Great video Big Chief! What tools do you need to remove the Baffle?

    Thx for doing this vid, do you still like the comfort seat? I'm seriously considering getting one or just opting for a gel seat cushion for now.

    Bloody hell they’re nice bikes! If I move on from my Rocket III it will be for this, for sure.
    Your bike sounds excellent now, good work man.
    (Nice cheeky FTR1200 in the corner there too!)

    Could we get a quick update on how it sounds on longer rides? Also, how big did you drill the hole to? I might do the same

      7/8ths of an inch i believe. Just go a full inch I reckon. This dude said as much at the end of the clip ….

    maybe it’s the video but it sounded like air was escaping, like a whoosh kinda sound? ave you noticed that?

    • @bigchief113
      @bigchief113  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It sounds so much better modified. I want to make the hole a little bigger to squeeze just a bit more sound out.

      @@bigchief113 Ya sound is hard to gauge via video. Did you mail in your ECU or take it to a remote site for the tune?

    • @bigchief113
      @bigchief113  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @juliemunoz2762 I took to a local place called Woods Indian. They are a authorized dealer for the Lloyds tune. They apply the standard tune then adjust for your setup. The tune fixed the twitchy throttle too.

    • @juliemunoz2762
      @juliemunoz2762 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bigchief113 Thanks for the info. Yes that twitchy throttle is a bit annoying. I have the forward facing K&N air intake kit coming, the dealership claims it needs to be installed by them and it comes with a tune, I’m hoping that smooths it out.

    @bigchief113 did you ever end up drilling the Baffle hole larger? Just curious of the result. I have that similar system on a Challenger. Bought that same baffle, planning on doing the same thing. Going to measure and find the right hole saw. Baffle really kills the Cams after 4K. thanks for the video!

    • @bigchief113
      @bigchief113  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have not. Just what you see in the video. I've thought about do it but haven't because it sounds really good and I don't want to screw it up.

      @@bigchief113 I went to Menards and bought 1 1/4" hole saw. I went through both ends. Have to be careful with the flower end, it's thin. But I took my time and got it. Grinder to the inside to smooth things out. I own 22 Challenger with stage II cams, air filter and a RVS tune. The original Baffle was not only too loud but offered no backpressure so around town/off idle sucked. But anything over 4k was impressive, the cams really came alive. I bought the quiet baffle and it improved the around low speed/off idle but but wasn't perfect. Above 4k was wimpy. After the mod to the quiet baffle today the bike has never ran better. Off idle is perfect, above 4k ran really well. Apparently the modded baffle fit the Tune and cams etc? Really happy with it. And it's not much Louder than prior to the mod. But way quieter than the original baffle. not sure what difference it would be leaving the Flower end as is......

    BRO!!! I did this to mines yesterday I'm thinking about boring it to the welds. I never dynoed but I feel like I picked up lower end torque, the reason I believe is physics. The performance baffle loses exhaust speed whereas this keeps the speed going all the way to the exit. Im goiing to bore 3 more holes by the backside and open it up more. It works.

    Man Just got my 2n1 on and I personally think its a touch too loud for neighbors. I know the QB is way too quiet and I was wondering if this was possible. Ordering a baffle to drill TMRW!!! Thanks so much for this !!! If you drill it more or drill the "flower" post that video please! Cheers Brother

      @etishbite456 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just did it. I didn't have the flower exit mine is bored str8. The bike picks up faster on the low end, I swear it does. I'm going to bore 3 more holes on the back plate. It's perfect. It's not as loud at idle, but when you rip it It's loud but quickly disappears.
