I have the same exhaust on my 23 Chief ABS. I listened to lots of others. I had FP shark tales on my 15 Indian Chief Classic and liked the company. They are loud but that's what I like.
I couldn't do the quiet baffles. I swapped back this weekend and I ain't going back. That was an expensive experiment though. But then again ain't nuthin cheap on these bikes.
My Sport Chief just arrived Saturday at the dealer, they're gonna do the stage 2 on it, then I have to do the Freedom 2-1 swap myself because dealers can no longer decat bikes in Utah. Take it back after for the Lloydz tune, gonna be sweet. I have the 2-1 full Toce system on my FTR so I'm used to the loudness & love that people can hear me coming, extra safety + extra performance.
Just got the '24 Sport Chief Icon in Smoky Quartz...Freedom Exhaust 2into1 Shorty and Lloyds Tune...No Baffles is the way to go I'm told so "Other cars can hear you if they can't see you" any thoughts on this? It's my first bike. Cheers from Denver, Co
Has this exhaust reduced the heat? I tested the sport chief recently and the exaggerated heat I felt in my right leg makes me think about whether to buy the bike or not
I have the Fab28 exhaust on my 23 Chief Dark Horse. My only beef with it is they don't come with heat shields. I messaged Adam who owns Fab28 and he's working on a custom heat shield for me. Otherwise, the sound is incredible and it's a lot lighter that the FPE.

Heck yeah brutha! That's a great plan. Super jealous about the sport chief. I'm still salty that I got my 2022 before the sport came out. Congrats!

It's sooo loud. My son just got a new Chief and we put the sharp radius pipes, holy crap it's wayyy too loud. Probably gonna get the baffles too.
Love the way it sounds but way too loud. I agree. I’m in my early 40s and spent a lifetime not caring about loud music and pipes. Now I regret it.

Did you have any issues with the tune when you first installed the pipes and the HF airbox ...? Black smoke, running rough, etc, etc
I did actually. At first it eh bike was idling low and would shit off a few minutes after startup. That has stopped since after the ECU learned

@kenw30 I tuned it after the inital.install of the exhaust. But not after the baffle mod.

I ceramic-coated mines. You don't hear the metal cooling down making the crackling noise anymore and the heat reduction is insane.

@therealak2852 i couldn't ride without ear plugs. It was so loud that it hurt my ears when riding longer than a few minutes.
