So im just getting back into the game and I don't know what to go for and I have 4 resets. What things should I be doing and what characters are good to use? I just need a little guidance pls.
Man same here! All my shards were taken off everything and idk what’s going on 😂 there too much and I low key want to say fk it but my best friend wants to play and I’m trying to stick with it but it very overwhelming after 2yr hiatus. I love the EV bot but no new updated builds on her so idk.
Other than the recent stat squish, there's nothing majorly different than 2 years ago.
And with the stat squish, the game largely plays the same since everything was reduced 10%.
All that to say, if your EV2 build was good 2 years ago, it's good now.
Probably the other 2 biggest differences are the addition of c8-10.
So, you need to get familiar with the spiders, the dragons and the orcs and fins counters.
Counters for spiders: towers
Counters for dragons: High Damage
Counter for orcs: Wall + anything else with high DMG
Assuming you did the right thing and got to Chaos 9 before your first reset you can do whatever you want. Play wherever, whatever. All heroes are good if they are properly sharded and modded.

Player count is the same as it has been for years. It is low, but has a devout group that are always around. Was never intended to be cross play so of course that is not there. I would say check it out again, if it is fun keep playing, if not then you know :P
Hey, how much resets do you think is needed in long-term for smother gameplay ? I'm on my way to do 3rd now :)
Just 1 as long as you planned ahead and got a C9 expedition win before your first. It is by far the largest power gain from any AP reset.
Some things worth noting that Juice has mentioned in the past:
Ancient powers stack with other players and they stay active in Mastery mode. So, doing Ancient defense stats and ancient build faster will help out in mastery.
That said, it's not necessary as a good set of gilded shards and high quality mods will get you through mastery pretty smoothly.
I only have 1 point in each of the def categories
Ancient defense power
Ancient crit chance
Ancient crit DMg
Ancient range
I have good mods and gilded shards and mastery is pretty easy.
