      that's great, and it saves on clay plus if the clay is too thick it may not cure inside. :)

    Thank you for this wonderful video! So mesmerizing. Can you please tell me--what did you use Genesis heat set paints on (versus acrylic paints)?

    • @emzoddworks
      @emzoddworks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you, I think I possibly used all genesis on him from what I remember. Generally genesis is great for blending skin tones etc and acrylics are great for bold colours and sharper lines. I have a painting the face vid coming soon x

    I'm so excited to do this! I never knew feet & hands didn't need to be solid clay (any of the body) I sure wasted a lot of clay on my one and only doll I made. Thanks for the tutorial!

    • @emzoddworks
      @emzoddworks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No problem, yes you have to be careful how thick you go with the clay too or it may not cure properly in the middle 😊

    And you can bake it with the plastic coated wiring?

    • @emzoddworks

      I do, clay bakes at fairly low temperatures and I have a separate oven for clay in case of fumes.

    Apoxie Sculpt - 2 Part Modeling Compound is this what you used? you spelled it with a "y" and I just wanted to make sure... it's not listed in your tools or materials...great share...Thank you

    • @emzoddworks
      @emzoddworks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, mine was a DIY store one but Apoxie sculpt is the same, I think you get longer to work with that one before it sets too.

  • @ninasartnibbles345
    @ninasartnibbles345 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    With the apoxy sculpt, I’ve always wondered if it can be baked once cured?

    • @emzoddworks
      @emzoddworks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as I know it can resist temperatures slightly over what you bake the clay at.

    Hi.
    Can I place a figure in the oven lying down? Is there a risk of it becoming deformed?
    If so, does someone know how to prevent it from deforming?
    Thank you.

    • @emzoddworks
      @emzoddworks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Support any areas that you may think would need it. I have a fibre glass wool that's used for ceramics so is fine in the oven.

    Ok I went and ordered the temp plate on poseable drone fairy tribe it's on I don't know what you calling 29 CM okay why I'm trying to get ahold of you is when I copied the template on the back page of the drone the picture of him the top part of his feet did not finish coping so do I need to get a bigger piece of paper to copy it or can you copy from his knees down for me I would appreciate it thank you Vivian Richards

    • @emzoddworks
      @emzoddworks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Vivian, I don’t have any messages from you on Etsy? The US and UK have different paper sizes so you need to reduce the template when you print, try 90% or ‘fit to page’.
