I definitely agree! Especially since Mitsuri was 17 during her marriage interview and 19 during the pillar meeting meaning she started training around the same time as Tanjiro but since she completed training in only 6 months, she entered the selection the year before his. She also probably became a pillar in less than a year since she has her green socks during the pillar meeting which she didn't get until AFTER she met Iguro at her first meeting.
I only watch these videos so I can get mad at all the mispronunciations. excellent work as always Meti, truly a master class in making me get mad about stuff that doesn't matter. love ya and your content bud. 10/10.
Have to admit I would like some stories set before the current timeline so we could see other Hashira's maybe see techniques that the current ones couldn't perform along with the different Demon Moons from the past.
Tengen is my favorite Hashira. His zany, flamboyant and hammy personality is very entertaining, and I really admire that in spite of it, he's actually humble and looks up to his compatriots (especially Rengoku). In addition, sharing a voice actor with Diavolo (Katsuyuki Konishi) is guaranteed to make a JoJo fan like me smile.
You should do something like this for the demons and when they became demons as well as moved through the ranks. This was a well researched video and the demon hierarchy is really interesting
I think the reason why Meti likes Demon Slayer so much is because the Demons in the series are basically just pseudo-vampires in way, and I know he likes Castlevania and JoJo.
I always found it the best subtle indicator of a Water Breath User's skill to become the Water Hashira. Its not like say, a newer style or one created by someone that evolved from it potentially like Flower Breathing or Snake Breathing or Insect Breathing, based upon Water Breathing but a Hashira using these being more pure raw talent and skill alongside their own variations and tools/means to even the playing field After all, there is a line in the story (or maybe the extras in a volume? I just know its in the manga somewhere) that Water Breathing is the most used style amongst the Corps. members. This means that the Water Hashira is the best amongst all those individuals, all that competition, potential for iteration and to add to the style, etc. And to add there is always one in every generation of Hashira, and it shows just how strong someone like Giyu, and, by extension, Urokodaki, are as users of Water Breathing.
It so good that iguro being saved by kyojiro's dad even before himejime becomes a hashira, but he needs to go through the process and it takes reaally long time for him to became a hashira because he didnt have any extraordinary strenght or swordmanship skills unlike munichiro and himejime and mitsuri. He was also not raised spesifically as an assasin like tengen. Its also not like rengoku, giyuu and shinobu; they came directly after the previous hashira as replacement. But it takes time for iguro and sanemi to reach that point..
Would it be possible to make a video on murata and even the kakushi? I know murata doesn't contribute much to the plot, but he represents every normal person out there and would be all of us if we were in the DS verse, while they do not possess the talent or inherited skill as the hashira, is also important in terms of how systems go. He is the Hitch Dreyse of the series.

Urokodaki is someone I’d love to see a gaiden of, maybe seeing him with jigoro side by side.
Something like urokodaki, shinjuro and jigoro
All the Hashira has Breathing techniques, while Tanjiro's mom has breeding techniques.
Your a terrible person... here take this like, King.
NoOoo
bruh…why you gotta do it to them
One of the only times I've laughed on a sexual joke cuz I can't even deny this
Don't forget Genya and Sanemi's mom and Amane, Kiriya's wife. Lady's popped out twin sets and still looked fresh.

The backgound with the trees is from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice for anyone who's wondering 😀
I would love to see a story of when gyiome first becomes a pillar and how he interacts with the old pillars

You should totally do a video about Kokushibo.
Is there any chance we could get episodes aimed at fire punch?
Nice
Lol a video of 13 pillars, I think the Gotei 13 comparisons just gained a bit more weight to them.
