- Yuki Tsukumo is one of the strongest Sorcerers in all of Jujutsu, being ranked as a special grade. Though she was once in a position where her life may have been sacrificed in order to maintain the world of Jujutsu as we know it, and this element of her life made her furious, so much so she funneled this anger into her own curse technique.

It really feel like so many characters get thrown away because the writer was unable to write
We should have seen some more interaction with Todo or his reaction to her passing, but Todo somehow completely disappeared after the Mahito fight, which is especially weird since he should still be able to use boogie woogie by slapping somebodies hand, as seen with Mahito.
@@maxmustermann9058 If I remember correctly his right hand was damaged very badly by idle transfiguration when he slapped mahitos hand. He even comments on how he will never be able to use it again as a reaction to how Mahito's technique damages souls beyond repair. Todo was lucky enough to escape with his life, but besides that I agree I wish I could have seen him interact with Yuki more or react to her death.
@@ilovecody7514 yeah I might have been off on the cursed technique, although I still think its weird that he is not part of the Sukuna fight, even just offering his analysis or helping Yuji without his technique. During JJK 0 he exorcised 5 great ones without using his technique. If Ino and Larue can assist at multiple points Todo with the best cursed weapon Gojo and Gakuganji can find for him should still be able to assist Yiji.
This is probably the first time I've heard someone refer to the Modern Era that JJK takes place in as "Heisei". And I'm all for it.

Anti-gravity techniques ignored, Yuki really put Kenny through the ringer. I wish she had a fight where she could have gone all out instead of relying on a faulty plan
I wish Yuki got to do more in the manga. I'm glad they at least acknowledged her research.
On the topic of Yuki's volume cover, the Schwarzschild radius (i.e. the compressed radius needed to turn something into a black hole) for Jupiter is roughly equivalent to the height of an average adult human.

I love the little details. One thing you have to admit with Gege, he can really hone in on real world science/mechanics mixed with the Jujustu. One example personal favorite is when he explained blood manipulation, convergence, and then added the plan to use the sprinklers in the bathroom to negate Choso’s ability.

Having buff, blonde powerhouses Yuki and Star and Stripes both be quickly used up as stepping stones for the villain around the same time was weird and tragic. Horikoshi and Gege fumbling in-sync.

Star and Stripe served more of a purpose than Yuki. She existed to depower Shigaraki so the heroes had a chance.

She's characterizes being this absolute badass and yet she dies similarly to Hiruzen in Naruto and Chiaozu in DBZ. Fruitlessly killing herself just to defeat her enemy only for that sacrifice to be in vain
Hiruzen sacrifice directly kept Orochimaru from destroying the rest of Konoha and debilitated him long enough for Konoha to recover their strength. He's also why none of the hokage ended up being resurrected as enemies in the Fourth Shinobi World War which would have decimated the allied Shinobi forces. While he didn't take Orochimaru's jutsu away forever, there is a directly line from his sacrifice to the saving of the Shinobi world.
And while her last gambit didn't kill Kenjaku, it did allow for the back of the prison realm to get to the others to return Gojo. Not to mention how her research into souls is currently being used right now to elevate Yuji and battle against Sukuna. She helped build the ground work for the sorcerer's to take Sukuna and Kenjaku on.
Yuki deserves all the love, good to see this
I think Yuki has a lot of potential to get a side story exploring her history with Tengen and the Star Plasma Vessel.
Between this and MHA, I hope it doesn't become a trend to make a badass woman who ultimately accomplishes nothing
I’ve always thought that if JJK were to get a spin-off of any sort, a prime candidate would be following Yuki’s travels across the world. Not only would it give us more time with an amazing character we didn’t get that much time with, but it could also serve to flesh out the world of JJK more by showcasing sorcerers from other countries. Also could possibly get some young Todo material and see how his training went.
She was a STAR Plasma Vessel yet she didnt get the time to shine that she deserved

Another fantastic video! Honestly love to see someone shine a light on Yuki, because she just raised so many questions by existing. She was such a fun character, and it's sad to see her light snuffed out so soon. Even still, the impact she left on most readers can't be ignored.

She lived and died as a Star. Free, powerful and unbound by normal rules but just like star she died and met its end, going one last time and in the end having Little effects on your everyday man. Becouse she was so far from everyone.
03:14 in many ways world presented in FATE / TYPE MOON universe is similiar to this of Jujutsu kaisen. In both cases a world consisting of many different organizations, that are governed by certain status quo established by certain magical government. However, in most cases this status quo is broken as many of mages or these organisations resort to highly unethical methods for their research.
Also Yuta does Unlimited Blade Works, like one for one not even just inspired his power is straight up to be Emiya

Thank you for doing a Yuki character dissection, she my favourite Jujutsu Kaisen character and is very misunderstood.😭🔥
She feels like a better version of Stars and Stripes from MHA, mainly because she had some time to be a character before being unceremoniously killed off by the main villain. Also her death had an impact on someone unlike Start and Stripes who just kinda showed up and died in 3 chapters and then the story went “well moving on”.
She definitely deserved more time to shine, but she’s still one of the most memorable characters.
Yuki and Kenjaku are both characters that fans feels they been done dirty.
Either for their screen time or how their defeat are lackluster for their status.
My stance is that out of all the OG special grades, Gojo was the only one popping in the story Post death compare to Kenjaku and Yuki after the cast reaction to their death.
Yuki’s ending was pretty underwhelming considering her status and ambitions, even if it is supposed to show the unfairness of the world of JJK.
Nonetheless, she was pretty cool, and I did like her appearance at the end of the Shibuya arc in both the manga and anime.

Personally, I think the endgame will see Yuki getting the last laugh. Everyone focuses on her goal being "erasing cursed energy," but she already left that behind when Toji died. Her goal by the time she spoke to Geto was "making all non-sorcerers into sorcerers," because due to controlling their cursed energy, sorcerers don't produce cursed spirits. We also know that sorcerers can protect themselves from the Merger. So while I'm not sure how we'll get there, I think that the way the Merger is undone will be by awakening everyone in Japan as a sorcerer so that they can resist.
I think it'd also be a victory for her egalitarian mindset that focuses on personal agency. I'm also very curious what her last words to Kenjaku were - specifically the part that got cut off. "Gravity. Mass. Time. It all boils down to..." And we don't find out what the end of that sentence was. I suspect those words will somehow be revealed at a pivotal moment.

It just sucked that Yuki wasn't in the story as much. She had the potential of being a "female Gojo" and was strongest female sorcerer, but she doesn't get much screen time and not much interaction with Gojo and Yuji. She wasn't that compelling and interesting, that's why when fans talk about a compelling female character in JJK, Maki is almost always first to be praised, not Yuki.

I’ll both agree and disagree with the fact she was underused in the story. agree on the grounds of what everyone stated but disagreed on the ground that her characters purpose was to prop up those who come after and to me I see that as a good send off for her character like if tsunade did actually die in Naruto that would still be a good send off because she was always more concerned for other future instead of her own. Do I wish her fight meant more later down the line yeah but i still like this end for her ecspecaily sins she still made a impact on character like choso even until current event in the manga
