Manzar Mulla who said anything on updating every year for a new smartwatch? the only companies updating their watches so far are Android Wear ones.... Apple has yet to do it or say they are....
+Presignify Rolex are like gold, they get more valuable whit the pass of the time, the apple watch you buy will be an obsolete product in less thant 3 years.
Its crazy, 'more powerful' hes on drugs, my friend you just named two android watches that are alot better than the apple watch, im pretty sure hes never seen the gear s then
randy rivas this does a lot more than android wear atm. Google have gone the iOS approach for watches by keeping it simple whereas Apple have done the opposite and put a crap ton of features in it that are not all fully baked.
That was a long, weird scene with the girl at the bar at 3:10. Turn off your notifications. This isn't the first time you've used a device that sends notifications, by now you should know what types you get and which you want sent to your wrist. You made it seem like going through a "huge list" of toggles that you have to tap, was such a pain. When even if you were going through 200 apps, it'd take 5 minutes tops and you'd never have to mess with it again. Such a strange thing to concentrate on in the review.
It's really not worth it man. It's just like android wear just a notification smart watch really. Better off getting the moto 360 if you want a smart watch cause it's way cheaper than the apple watch.
Why need a watch if you have a phone. Personally this is dumb and for people who buy these is just a waste of money. Unless if your a apple fanatic die hard fan.
Yea, people are getting mad at this for no reason knowing that it's the first gen and its trying to set a base for the next one. Obviously the next one will be much more refined, possibly cheaper.
L0stR3negade no there has been many instances where apple introduced products at a very high premium (which didn't sell well) and then the later gens were much better and cheaper. MacBook airs and apple TV and prime examples of this.
Read the article. In the last part it says: "By the end of each day, I was hyper-aware of how low the Apple Watch battery had gotten. After one particularly heavy day of use, I hit 10 percent battery at 7pm, triggering a wave of anxiety. But most days were actually fine. Apple had a big challenge getting a tiny computer like this to last a day, and it succeeded - even if that success seemingly comes at the expense of performance."
Jacob Shabazz They're innovative. I love my watch, which is why I bought one - I do not regret it nor think it was a waste of money. You are just closed minded. If everybody was like you, there would be no innovation and everything would stay the same. Boring.
I actually found this review quite helpful. I don't need a review that just quotes all the specs (I can read and can therefore get that information from the website for myself). I loved the part that recreated the process of actually using the watch in the real world and how distracting it can be if not managed well. Thanks for the review!
Great video! Particularly liked the scene at the bar with the notifiers interrupting the meeting - really inventive! Congratulations and I learned a lot too! Thanks!
This review aged very well. All of the things you state in it are very true. Apple did make the next versions way better. They also canceled the super expensive edition like those fashion people predicted. Very cool!
People saying that smartwatches are useless, but, its a new technology, give it more 3 or 5 years, it will be something that people wont live without, like smartphones
After watching this 2 years later.. for the second time. Nilay's explanation of Apple Watch Notifications while at the bar is so relevant.. Could not have explained it better.
wow that was a great review! very elegant and nice presented! he didnt talk about the battery but still it was a very pleseant thing to watch! I loved it
He talks about it at the end of his full review. He says, on a heavy day of use he had around 10% by 7pm, but on other days of the week he'd be fine for the day and just charged it at night. Not exact words but I highly recommend reading the full article as he covers more points about the watch that weren't mentioned in the video.
***** there is rumors and some evidence that android wear is working to be iOS compatible. You may just have to wait, and at least wait for the 2nd gen apple watch. (I'm a 360 owner/user myself)
Xeollron But it has yet to be authorized for the app store... and who knows if Apple will actually let Google steal the thunder from their wearable. Especially when people figure out the massive price savings.
Why are so many people complaining about the watch? Fine don't get it, you guys just can't afford it. I just preordered mine yesterday, super excited! I have an iPhone 6 plus, it's annoying to pull out and carry around. I'll be able to use my watch instead now!
bret wigger And a year from now when they come out with the (actually useful, more stylish, much faster, and longer-lasting battery) second generation Apple Watch, you'll be kicking yourself for investing in one when it first came out. Buying a first-gen Apple product is almost never a good idea. 2nd gen onwards is where they become worth it. Same thing with this new Macbook they announced -- next year, it'll actually have a decent processor, and they'll improve the keyboard so it feels like it has more travel, but right now, it's not worth the investment for the ridiculous price. They want to get the product out there with a new form factor and some new features first, so they can gather a whole bunch of analytics on consumer data and then spend the next year refining it. If you really want to plop down that much money on what is essentially an expensive beta test, that's fine, but don't shit on those of us who are waiting until next year.
The whole being bummed out when the next version comes out doesn't bother me. Yes this is gen 1 so when and what later versions come won't affect how feel after getting one. I never buy a later version a year after I get a certain product. I've had always waited 2+ years. iPhone 5-6+ and I still have the iPad 3rd gen. When the watch 2 comes out I'll acknowledge it but won get cause I'll alread have the 1st one. Should I get the third? Maybe maybe not. But holding off on a upgrade to the next generation makes it more worth it in the end.
Christopher .Cruse Yeah, I wasn't saying people should get a new one every year -- like I'll personally wait until the second generation (or later) to get one period, but once I have an Apple product, I don't upgrade every year. I have an iPhone 6 right now because my phone was ready for an upgrade and an iPad air 2 because I had a second gen iPad during high school, but I still waited two years before upgrading phones and over three years before upgrading iPads -- and my Macbook Pro is on year 5. Apple Products definitely have longevity, but I just hesitate to buy the first gen version of anything they release, because i feel like it won't last as long as the second generation (in other words, a first gen Apple watch might last me two years, but a second gen one might last me three or four).
Taylor Abdon Thats coo. Some people just making it sound like it's pointless just because it'll be replace every year, but they forget that their phone and other gadgets get replace every year. I went a head and got the stainless steal with the two year Apple care. So I'm good for at least two years. So when and if I'll upgrade it'll be in gen 3 or later.
***** you have not used it, so you don't know what you would rather do yet. The reviewer bitched about the crown for ages on the podcast / in previews and now says he loves it, so you don't know until you have actually use a product. And do you rly think apple paid them? They said at the end they're not convinced people should get one!
Joshua Choiboy From the review I got: notifications are annoying (they are), apps aren't the full versions and take ages to load, the fitness monitoring only monitors cardio workouts and isn't as good as other devices, it can be nice to play with, NFC payments (Apple Pay) is nice to have on your wrist, wait for the 2nd or 3rd version. Sounds like Verge are being 100% honest here.
Everyone keeps mentioning the Moto 360 in the comments. That watch looks good, but it is really flawed. The backs crack, the screen is weak, it lags, the battery is done before you get home, it has an old leftover processor in it. Besides the hardware and battery problems, it's fatal flaw is Android Wear OS. Worthless beta software.
Could you explain why you think Android Wear is "worthless beta software"? Apps like Keep and Wunderlist act as dumb remotes just like the Apple Watch, but the variety and quality of faces are great and I find the notification cards intuitive. With the screen always on, my Sony Smartwatch 3 gets two days of battery life. Google's Voice assistant missed a few queries that Siri can catch, but can pull up info cards that Siri can't, so I consider them equals.
The screen of my moto 360 is scratched after a weeks of use :( But due to all the android wear software updates my moto 360 can easily last throughout the day. I don't see any lag either... Are you using a moto 360? It seems like you are mentioning what the moto 360 was like before all the updates it received. Battery life is no longer a problem with it. Android wear and the apple watch are very different to me. Android wear mainly works with notification for me, but the apple watch has more features, like being able to use apps, or scrolling to find apps, sending heart rate, etc. apple watch has more functions but it is reasonable to scroll through a tiny display to use an app?
Yeah too late for that, but you ca barely see the scratches though. Just something I noticed, and idk how it got there. I would recommend a screen protector for the apple watch sport. No sapphire glass!
You guys should make more detailed videos like this one, this shows that u did a lot of work on this video . just try to make longer vids u guys r gud at it.
Toby McMillan have you actually used the actual product? The battery life is okay (1.5 days average), the charger is excellent (magnetic), there's absolutely no air gap, the HRM works 100% well with no problems, it can even track the treadmill exercise, etc... so full of shit
WHAT KIND OF REVIEW IS THIS? what about battery life? What about the slow ass load times? What about it being over priced, not JUST for the first generation? What about it being a fucking square? What about the screen sucking (retina my ass)? What about how every smart watch out right now software is MILES AHEAD? Android Wear and Pebble are industry leaders and he forgot to mention that. Every review has a mention of apple and how's its not good as apple but when its a apple product its MAJOR short comings are over looked. Step it up Verge stop letting apple make your review credibility plummet.
Thisguyhereallyisjohn that was hilarious ... -___- ... You must be one of the people this review is targeted for ... Good job Verge you def know your target audience. Apple fanboys that will pay top dollar for bottom products
Wait wait... So being heavy is now a PRO AND NOT A CON?! HOW MUCH IS APPLE PAYING THE VERGE EXACTLY?! I WANNA KNOW BECAUSE I NEED A LOGICAL EXPLANATION FOR THIS CRAP!
phiedm That's bull crap, i wear watches all the time and i know that the more expensive it is the lighter it is in your hand. The fake Rolex's you get for 10$ are usually the heaviest because they will break you hands if you wear them all the time
The more expensive a Rolex is the lighter it is? Dumbest comment i've heard so far today. My Rolex Submariner weighs 4 ounces. You've probably never even touched a Rolex so you might want to stick to what you know.
phiedm i won't lie and pretend that i have a Rolex. However, i wear watches daily since i was 15, oui have owned a few and some luxury watches. The bottom line is cheap watches tend to be heavy because companies don't spend time and money designing cheap watches engines. The same way that exp p phones and laptops are thin and light weight. That said again i do not know about Rolex s but i know about luxury watches made for normal people that aren't millionaires such as the normal 350$ Apple watch, it isn't in the same price range add Rolex s so it doesn't compare. And i know that there is a stupid 17000$ model.
You don't have to be a millionaire to own a Rolex. Mines a limited edition I paid 5800 for 5 years ago. It's worth about 9000 now. For about 600 I'll get the maintenance done and it will be like brand new again.
Not too sure why i watched this.... "Nicest smartwatch"? I beg to differ... Its not the worst but definitely not the best... Google needs to hurry and release #androidwear for #iOS ..
Rob Watkins lol... Honestly i believe that has to go to the Moto360, with the Gwatch R not to far behind. For Square Smartwatches only I'd give the Apple Watch #1 design wise.
I liked the look of the OS on the Apple watch but his review was peppered with comments about it being slow and some of the features being half baked etc.
Watching this review told me I didn't need one. I disliked the early 3.5" iPhones for their small and fiddly screens and this harks backwards. Reaching in my pocket to check a message or make Apple Pay isn't that inconvenient.
Dieses Gerät ist einfach lächerlich... Und die Bedienung idiotisch... Eine Uhr sollte nicht mehr sein als eine Erweiterung zum Smartphone... Das hier ist Kinderspielzeug... In KEINEM hübschem Gewand.
So oddly-shaped, I Can't get over it. I think your review deserves so much praise, thanks a bunch for it, this was more definitive and real. As for battery, we all know it lasts a whole day or 18 hours with normal use. When the battery is critically low, the watch turns on extreme power saving and only displays time which lasts for four days after which the watch dies. Thanks again for the review.
Ive never seen your reviews before but your method of doing so is like none other. Forget the bleak white background. you went for artistic scenes, with cocktail drinks, colors, and shadows, and the meeting with your co-worker really puts emphasis on how distracting a watch like this can be great job, really
The watch I wear on my wrist has an automatic movement and has been ticking without fail for 40 years now. I couldn't buy a watch that needs to be charged every day.
Good review - not enough details on the technical aspect but enough info to let me know that I definitely don't want to go from Android to Apple anytime soon.
The only problem is since it's a watch it's gonna be so easy to loose it, even harder to find it if you don't have any other device to track it, those things do have a tracking chip right?
I don't understand why people complain about any smart watch notifying them at inconvenient times.. You bought a device that is designed just to notify you! If your going to be in a long conversation, in class, a meeting. This has a great do not disturb option and it will turn of the haptic engine. Still a great review!!
I'm going to be honest, I know a lot about technology overall from my years of research and I am an "Apple Guy." And usually don't go along with some people's impressions, but he made me laugh with the "mime hand is giving me nightmare's."
I love the format of this video. It's not some weird guy babbling on from a list of likes and dislikes. Rather, it was almost like a mini-TV show. Kinda weird explanation, but I like it.
Didn't even talk about battery life!? Wtf kind of review is this?
It must be THAT terrible...
BCJDM It takes time to judge battery life
but you are correct, they shouldn't call it a review,
more like "first impressions"
It's in his written review. Battery was similar to the 360 after the update
BCJDM www.theverge.com/a/apple-watch-review gives you the full rundown and his full day of usage including showing the battery life very few hours
BCJDM every lol
So its been like 4 months and the fashion world has adopted it and loves it.

I fail to see how this is more stylish than any other smart watch. I guess this guy has never seen a moto 360 or a Huawei watch.
Totally agree brother
which look like replica watches.
Its crazy, 'more powerful' hes on drugs, my friend you just named two android watches that are alot better than the apple watch, im pretty sure hes never seen the gear s then

Watching this old review after just preordering the series 7
that thing on your other wrist.... does not go with a suit dude.
This didn't age well considering that thing out sells the entire watch industry.
@@LittleBaldieVanZandt he’s talking about that bracelet thing on his other wrist.

Jobs would've flipped if he saw these half assed features.
Joey Lahara hahah you're right! its seems beta to me.
*****
Nope, Pebble (all of them) are fantastic.
Joey Lahara Dont kid yourself, hobs had plans that went years and years out. It was admitted by himself.
Joey Lahara Not really jobs would have found a way to sell them even better.
Jobs was just a person, not a company.
Also let's keep in mind. This review is only speaking to iPhone users. All others need not apply. Still might review it for the heck of it.
Phil Vierno There is no good reason to get this.
I'll pass.
Phil Vierno thus, bias review.
There is a Soup Kitchen for Android users
Why would you get this if you weren't an iPhone user?
I want to buy it, but at the same time I don't... Ugh idk
The apple watch sports starts at 500?+ not 300
***** $349 for the Sports Edition
It's really not worth it man. It's just like android wear just a notification smart watch really. Better off getting the moto 360 if you want a smart watch cause it's way cheaper than the apple watch.
***** It's different in different countries. For me in Australia it is $579 for the 42mm sport and the 38mm is $499
Why need a watch if you have a phone. Personally this is dumb and for people who buy these is just a waste of money. Unless if your a apple fanatic die hard fan.
"It's so much more powerful than any other smartwatch."
1:05 *Tries to tap "Activate" 4 times, but it does nothing* lol.
Sup
this is the most bizarre comment i have seen in the history of anything
I would wait for the 3 or 4th generation .
Yea, people are getting mad at this for no reason knowing that it's the first gen and its trying to set a base for the next one. Obviously the next one will be much more refined, possibly cheaper.
blue4zero knowing apple, I very much doubt it will be cheaper. If anything (in my opinion) it is more likely to be even more expensive.
blue4zero lol cheaper? I can 100% guarantee it won't be. Or do you not realise this is an apple product?
L0stR3negade no there has been many instances where apple introduced products at a very high premium (which didn't sell well) and then the later gens were much better and cheaper. MacBook airs and apple TV and prime examples of this.
PRASHANT BISWAS Agree! but its going to take about 2 years for the second Gen to be released it.
BATTERY LIFE?
Also I personally think this is one of the uglier designed watches
Axel sypkens smit It's the verge, battery life is only important when reviewing android products
Akini James lmao
Axel sypkens smit True buddy

Greg Miller no, this is just a gimmick.
Greg Miller what watch are you using?
LG G watch, awesome battery life, never fails on me, runs without a hiccup - and it was on sale for $100. Can't beat that.

Are you wearing Chun-Li band on your right hand?
Not Chun-Li 😭😭
Great video! Particularly liked the scene at the bar with the notifiers interrupting the meeting - really inventive! Congratulations and I learned a lot too! Thanks!
This is the same problem with all smart watches. You will need to cull your notifications and decide which notifications go to your wrist.
Tell me if I'm wrong, he didn't mentioned anything about battery life with all those things going on with the watch....
This review aged very well. All of the things you state in it are very true. Apple did make the next versions way better. They also canceled the super expensive edition like those fashion people predicted. Very cool!
Watching this 8 years later is crazy
Who is also watching in 2020? The Apple Watch has been improved a lot since the first generation.
this is the best review I've seen of the Apple Watch. We got to see all the features and the stainless steel model on different bands.
Brace yourself angry anti-Apple commenters are coming.
***** They actually aren't.
***** Yes I am such an Apple fanboy as I type this on a Sony VAIO with a Moto X in my pocket.
***** Why is your watch in your pocket...
nigmosh65 Moto X is a phone...
Because apple originally designed this for fitness and now want you to use it.as a dog tag for.when the police need to.locate you.
People saying that smartwatches are useless, but, its a new technology, give it more 3 or 5 years, it will be something that people wont live without, like smartphones
i wish it can detect heart problems, sugar and early signs of cancer
I'm here from the future, and the smartwatch fad didn't take off.
@Jack Pavia yeah; like it literally outsold the entire swiss watch industry.
Aaron Bueno Apple Watch series 6 :)
Damn ur kinda right
My ideal smartwatch would be one that didn't need a phone to operate. It would have it's own SIM card. :)
AtomicSymphonic The Samsung Galaxy Gear S smartwatch has a SIM. It's basically a smartphone...
After watching this 2 years later.. for the second time. Nilay's explanation of Apple Watch Notifications while at the bar is so relevant.. Could not have explained it better.

What kind of camera did they use? The video looks very sharp.
Can you put it in silent mode so it won't make a sound when you receive a notification?
Isn't the Moto 360 like $299? This is $349 what's all the complaining about ? Apple watch is 10x better
How is it better?
ANONYMOUS nope. its very beta compared to the 360. Inaccuracy
I looked at every Moto 360 review, it's not even close to the apple watch in terms of design or function, just my opinion though...
ANONYMOUS I would rather buy Rolex than this. Why would I want a square watch?
Because you're not buying it for the purpose of only looking at time.

You guys should make more detailed videos like this one, this shows that u did a lot of work on this video . just try to make longer vids u guys r gud at it.
Fantastic, thorough review. Seriously one of the most relevant and focused reviews I've seen.
Couldn't watch this, have Adblock on
Good attempt .. Failed badly sucker
hopefully Apple picks itself back up again with this watch.
at 1:04 I was just like "bruh" XD
Wow! How wrong everyone was in this video. In 2023 Apple Watches dominate.
actually nice to see a review that doesnt feel like an ad and approaches the product from many angles..
The Verge I was thinking about returning the watch bc its going to get super sweaty in the summer heat, thoughts?
The verge shilling for apple as usual.
figgles Have you seen any other review for it? Because all the ones I've read/seen are pretty much the same
Toby McMillan have you actually used the actual product?
The battery life is okay (1.5 days average), the charger is excellent (magnetic), there's absolutely no air gap, the HRM works 100% well with no problems, it can even track the treadmill exercise, etc... so full of shit
RN I didn't say anything bad about the watch
RN HRM doesn't work at all if you have a wrist tattoo...
Victorious BIG I don't have a wrist tattoo or plan to do one.
Can you hook me up with Sonia?
ramcannon Hook us all up
Funny..
That watch clockblocked him so bad
She's UGLY!!
Sorry, but... *Yawn*.
This... Is... Great. Its not a boring review, its fun to watch.
Watching it while waiting for my Apple Watch Ultra ❤
I am waiting for the time when Android Wear is compatible with the iOS, those day will be known as the end of Apple watch :p
If u really think that u are an idiot
luka bobanac ouuh I am flattered :3
***** this made me want one and not want one at the exact same time lol
Uuuuy
***** sean
Stop
WHAT KIND OF REVIEW IS THIS? what about battery life? What about the slow ass load times? What about it being over priced, not JUST for the first generation? What about it being a fucking square? What about the screen sucking (retina my ass)? What about how every smart watch out right now software is MILES AHEAD? Android Wear and Pebble are industry leaders and he forgot to mention that. Every review has a mention of apple and how's its not good as apple but when its a apple product its MAJOR short comings are over looked. Step it up Verge stop letting apple make your review credibility plummet.
dude just cause u can't afford the watch doesn't mean it's terrible
Will your shut the fuck up zaire ...
Alright then. You buy a camera and do a review rather then complain about a review produced with a budget greater than you net worth.
Thisguyhereallyisjohn that was hilarious ... -___- ... You must be one of the people this review is targeted for ... Good job Verge you def know your target audience. Apple fanboys that will pay top dollar for bottom products
Yeah lol
The most Vergesque review ever
10/10
Great camera work - a lot of effort went into getting all the shots for this.
Wait wait... So being heavy is now a PRO AND NOT A CON?! HOW MUCH IS APPLE PAYING THE VERGE EXACTLY?!
I WANNA KNOW BECAUSE I NEED A LOGICAL EXPLANATION FOR THIS CRAP!
CODEX919 In the world of fine watches it is. I liked how my Rolex was heavier than my Tag when I got it.
phiedm That's bull crap, i wear watches all the time and i know that the more expensive it is the lighter it is in your hand.
He said It's simply the best smartwatch out there. Ugh.
David L Sumner uhh...how about asus zenwatch? Or Gear S? They looked better than this wide bezel smartwatch
For sure Rafael Del Carmen.
More round. hahahahh it's a fucking square
- Can you tell me the time?
- No, my Apple Watch battery died.
No mention of battery life, no negative points, how convenient of you The Verge!
100 $ less now ,Still not convinced ?
Watching this review told me I didn't need one. I disliked the early 3.5" iPhones for their small and fiddly screens and this harks backwards. Reaching in my pocket to check a message or make Apple Pay isn't that inconvenient.
Dieses Gerät ist einfach lächerlich... Und die Bedienung idiotisch... Eine Uhr sollte nicht mehr sein als eine Erweiterung zum Smartphone... Das hier ist Kinderspielzeug... In KEINEM hübschem Gewand.
Den Preis haste vergessen
German xD
O_O that sonia chick is hella hot.
Good review, but what about the battery?
First, I think
I love how he keeps saying its the nicest smartwatch outbthere. I counted it 5 times. What about you?
Ive never seen your reviews before but your method of doing so is like none other.
Forget the bleak white background. you went for artistic scenes, with cocktail drinks, colors, and shadows, and the meeting with your co-worker really puts emphasis on how distracting a watch like this can be
great job, really
I'm sticking to my Moto 360. Way more beautiful, way more useful, and lasts WAY WAY longer.
"its way nicer"
"it has more stuff"
Nice, quality and completely unbiased review.
Here's betting it will be illegal to use the watch while driving!
That Metallica wrist band looks great with the apple watch and the suit...lol
The watch I wear on my wrist has an automatic movement and has been ticking without fail for 40 years now. I couldn't buy a watch that needs to be charged every day.
This is a great review that I would highly recommend to anybody that is considering purchasing the Apple Watch.
Other than not talking about the battery life, it was a good review!
one of the better verge reviews...
You forgot to mention battery lifetime or battery charge issues
I feel like turning off or refining which apps send notifications isn't that big of a deal as this video depicts.
Good review - not enough details on the technical aspect but enough info to let me know that I definitely don't want to go from Android to Apple anytime soon.
Is the watch making the battery of the iPhone to end even faster because the Bluetooth that must to stay open all the time?
You give a 10 min review on a watch, but a 5 min review on a phone.
Is there any way to silent the notifications so it's just a vibration
The only problem is since it's a watch it's gonna be so easy to loose it, even harder to find it if you don't have any other device to track it, those things do have a tracking chip right?
I don't understand why people complain about any smart watch notifying them at inconvenient times.. You bought a device that is designed just to notify you! If your going to be in a long conversation, in class, a meeting. This has a great do not disturb option and it will turn of the haptic engine.
Still a great review!!
Thank you for the well-produced, well-explained, 10-minute, Apple-paid commercial.
Now... can we get some real reviews please?
Incredible, a fair review of an Apple device on this channel! This must be the end of the world. Kudos to the reviewer!
I'm going to be honest, I know a lot about technology overall from my years of research and I am an "Apple Guy." And usually don't go along with some people's impressions, but he made me laugh with the "mime hand is giving me nightmare's."
Got this Christmas Day. Love it. 42MM Slate.
is this as independent watch or would i need an iphone to use it to its fulll potential.
lol She is so excited i can see this in her eyes :D
I love the format of this video. It's not some weird guy babbling on from a list of likes and dislikes. Rather, it was almost like a mini-TV show. Kinda weird explanation, but I like it.
The Verge is really amazing at reviews for Apple products and only Apple products.
This has become an amazing product! Glad Apple stuck with it
I like it but I'm skipping this 1st version.
Actually a very informative review. There's fanboys/girls disliking the video and writing negative comments without even watching it.
