    I'm kind of surprised that this doesn't have more views. I guess most rabbitries must be buying their nest boxes. With back log though, I don't have time to wait. Thanks for posting this! I think it'll make my pregnant doe's cage very crowded, so I might need to move her before she approaches kindle date...

      It is a bit more crowded, but the doe will jump on top of it to rest. It also gives them the ability to get away from the kits when they start following momma around the cage.

    Don't use plywood because if your rabbit eats it, it may be harmful

      From doing research they don't like the taste of the plywood. I have not had any problems since building mine, no chew marks.

      That is because, that specific kinda plywood is treated with glues and chemicals, for termites and a wrought-repellent. Regular pine hardwood untreated is fine to chew on BUT IT'SGONNA COST A BIT MORE.

    Dont us OSB. They chew the shit out of it and ingest the glue that holds OSB chips together.

      I have read that the osb is something they dont like to chew. We have 8 rabbits right now and have 0 evidence of chew marks on the boxes.
