Also think that's a great idea! Could even pull out a map and teach directions in Swedish, and words for land features on the map like the words for mountain, ocean, etc.
Swedish is such a satisfying language, it's perfect for ASMR. I watched the Seventh Seal for the first time the other day and kept getting distracted by the nice sounds :)
Videos like these really make me appreciate people who've taken time to learn a language other than their own. Especially English, I'm told it's really hard to learn and I believe it, it's a weird melting pot of different languages. I feel fortunate to be born in a country that teaches it young.
/ Snow yes i agree but actually, english is very easy to learn especially because the grammar is sooo simple, and because it's international so you hear it everywhere
Yes Im swedish and i learned english When i was like 6/7 not to flex but its an easy language but russian or chinese or japanes well i think you got it
For some languages English can be hard. Swedish people usually get good enough to confidently speak it at the age of 10. For some reason it seems to vary how easy people find it to learn English depending on where they're from. English is easy, even the grammar once you practice some.
In eastern Europe I think it might be problem with pronunciation since our languages are pretty straight forward when it comes to it. I also believe people are having trouble dropping their heavy accent that's why they are not as outspoken.
Its so amazing to see how much we have increased our knowledge of the cosmos since 1923! Truly mindblowing to imagine what they thought about Space without Satellites or high powered telescopes. The model of the solar system is fascinating too! But at least they had Pluto already out of the map to fit with the current model 😂 This is absolutely fantastic though my only regret is that I wish I spoke Swedish! Using this later tonight for sure!
It never ceases to amaze me how i perfectly understand every spoken word even though it is technically a different language.. Scandinavia is a wonderful place in that way. Love these kinds of videos, stå på! From a random guy from across the western border.
I was a 'Space Kid' when I was younger so this video is pretty much instant win! Still love astronomy to this day, although I don't have any books as old at this! Still kept the one from my childhood though, from the early 90's.
I love astronomy, so this video was absolutely amazing! It's also nice to try and pick up on little pieces of a foreign language, over time, you begin to understand small phrases and such. Keep up the good work, your videos are amazing! 🚀🛰💫📡💖🌟🌌🔭🌠💖🌌🔭🌠🌟💖📡💫🛰🚀
Another excellent video! I just wanna say how much I DEEPLY appreciate that you show the text you are reading in this video, so others can follow along if they want. I wish and hope other ASMRtists fluent in another language might take up your example and do the same, esp. for people like me learning another language (Danish in my case).
So, it says that I've already watched this. I think I must have fallen asleep straight away. I'm enjoying watching it during the day as it is a fav topic of mine and på svenska också ♥ Tack! Det var jättebra och intressant!
I love all of your videos and you are my go-to "ASMRtist". I know many others have probably asked but if I ever made a request for a video, it would be all of your intros as a compilation, the whole intro- complete with the "use headphones...." and the "thank you..." That would be simply amazing and very much appreciated. Cheers.
The pictures you're showing in the beginning of the earth and the sun shining on it are exactly the same we used in geography in two years ago somewhere else in Europe
I always feel bad about passing out 15 minutes in your videos DX One day I'll watch a whole thing!! Still this is such a cool book, especially as a history and space nerd.
I discovered your channel recently and I didn’t know how bad I needed map ASMR, so if you accept suggestions pls draw the map of Spain, with capitals and what you want, like the one you did of Italy, plssss 🙏🙏🙏
Can you pls do a map drawing of Pakistan 🇵🇰 . Didn’t want to leave just with a re quest so just want to say your videos are rly nice and you have a really calming and smooth voice
I'm always locked up in my big room.. This makes me feel less lonely during stupid online classes and doing homework.. (you sound like Axel from the umbrella academy
Could you please make a video where u just draw a painting with only a normal pencil or something because I like more the sound of the pen scratching the paper and if you'd even draw something it would even be bether By the way greetings from germany
Thank you for uploading. I got the chance to witness a rocket launch in 2018. Amazing experience. I posted a pretty fun montage of the trip to my page.

Reading in Swedish starts at 3:17
I'm at peace
This feels the same as a very charismatic person talking to you, but better
It's a bit strange to think that book is almost 100 years old, but at the same time amazing how new it looks!
Ulul
It's because books can't age 🤔
Omg, Swedish is so relaxing! :D
Could you do a basic swedish teaching lesson in ASMR? It would be interesting :)
That would actually be really cool!!
jorrit04
The probability of that is highly unlikely.
Your fooled!
It's only cause this man's voice is so
Swexy!
Also think that's a great idea! Could even pull out a map and teach directions in Swedish, and words for land features on the map like the words for mountain, ocean, etc.

Im watching this in first period today. I like to live dangerously.
I take it thats not a menstruating reference 🤔
Mayo Luck, seeing as how I don’t have a uterus or a vagina, I would venture to say that it’s not.
I always remember falling asleep in class 😂 too bad ASMR wasn’t that big when I was in high school.

Old astronomy book and Swedish??? Cool!!
Aaa, finally an ASMR that includes astronomy, is especially everything I wanted!
Favorite thing I learned from ASMRctica videos: all weird consonant clusters in swedish are pronounced as something like a [h]
Oh a Swedish spoken video!! I'm so ready for this!
Dude I really liked this video. You have such a calm and relaxing voice it is really easy to enjoy.
The way the desk is decorated with books at the start reminds me of French whisperer. Not a bad thing, though.
Yesssssss! Swedish and Astronomy - two study subjects for me...as if you weren't great enough already :-)
This sends me to the space ;-)
👋
40:11 ✨ekliptikan✨ really gave me the tingles lol

@Johnny Quan Thanks for the feedback! Great to hear that you enjoy :)
Agreeeeeeed!
I read along as you read in swedish 😊 I don't know swedish but I hear the sounds of each word as you read. So neat!
So, it says that I've already watched this. I think I must have fallen asleep straight away. I'm enjoying watching it during the day as it is a fav topic of mine and på svenska också ♥ Tack! Det var jättebra och intressant!
I didn't realize he was speaking a foreign language until 12:59! I was just relaxing to his voice in the background the whole time!
I love all of your videos and you are my go-to "ASMRtist". Pluto wasn't even discovered when this book was published 😮
Will you teach me Swedish? Lol I love your content. So close to 100k followers! You deserve them and more.

Just stumbled across this video. Your voice sounds like honey. It makes me wish I had learned more Swedish when I was there.
my new favorite video :)
Hi 👍 another greate vid. 💗
Had no idea my first name meant “earth” in Swedish. The things you learn. I appreciate you, sir!
Your name must be another version of Jordan which comes from Hebrew
Jord = Earth; -en = the (one form of "the" for common nouns). So, "Jorden" (pronounced similar to "yoorden") is "the Earth". 🌍🌎🌏
Yes I am relaxed, but I'm also hyper focused cause I *really want that book!* 🧡
Såhär skulle jag älska lära mig svenska! Att läsa gamla astronomiböcker 👌🏻
The pictures you're showing in the beginning of the earth and the sun shining on it are exactly the same we used in geography in two years ago somewhere else in Europe
Greetings from finland👋

Can you make a map of the Solar System or a map of Moon or Mars?
Edit: oh... and a map of ancient Greece? :)
When you play this on speaker and all your furniture started disassembling and reassembling itself *quietly* 🙄
Fuck yeah. c:
I kept turning up the volume thinking “why can’t I hear him” then I realized he was speaking another language 😂🤣😂
How about drawing a map of the Star Wars galaxy?
First comment in a year!

How do you have such interesting scientific books like this? Do you collect them as a hobby? or you borrow them from libraries?
Both collecting and borrowing 😊 Glad you find it interesting 😃
Can you do a book about king tut's discovery
No, how about we read the original Star Wars books
👍👍🛌
Thank you for uploading. I got the chance to witness a rocket launch in 2018. Amazing experience. I posted a pretty fun montage of the trip to my page.
