With Asmr being dominated by whispers and higher voices, I found that the contrast of a deeper voice has broken through my immunity. Beautiful work as always:)

This atlas honestly blows my mind. The maps are insanely accurate, and this is decades before we could see the earth from space. Our methods for cartography must have been extraordinary

Not really. They had accurate maps far before that; cartography is a trade. However, appreciation is always good I suppose...

The first of april makes me paranoid, i was looking for the catch. Something like a satelite images atlas from 1895... I'm happy this is just a conventional (but great !) vidéo.
First satellite goes to space in the 1960’s but thinks satellite images from 1895 🤔

I'm trying out asmr vids. How do you eliminate background noise. I only have a zoom h2, but not sure if I should use my rode nt1 usb mic also. I tried a vid but the background hum from my PC is awful. Maybe make a tips video? Lol don't worry it's only a one off video on my vlog channel.
+theresidentone Great to hear you’re starting making asmr content! I use a separate audio recorder, I guess similar to Tascam Portable digital stereo audio recorders. And I don’t eliminate background noise (except traditional cutting/editing in the footage) so there is some constant background noise from the environment in my videos, but at least the audio recorder is completely silent. (And I don’t record next to a computer). Maybe it’s possible to eliminate whitenoise using the free audio editing software Audacity. Hope it helps!
+theresidentone yeah I forgot, lately I’ve started to have the cut off tip of a (clean 😅) sock over the microphones, to eliminate some noise and wind and ”p” consonants.

I used an old Zoom H2 handy recorder I have had since 2007 but I just got a canon G7X camera which I used to record my setup and myself and a GoPro hero 4 to record the book. Could have been better but it's my first time trying this sort of content. Also added a link to your channel in my description because it's only fair since you inspired the setup and use of a handy recorder and the soft-spoken type reading.
