The doors to the dark brotherhood are sithis statues.... -_- there has never needed to be "proof". The Argonians knew about Sithis and built their entire ancient society to defend against Sithis.
You should do more in depth lore recounts of the eso storylines. It’s hard to find full recaps on the plot lines and i never plan on playing that game but didn’t wanna miss the lore additions
You can't say you're an Elder Scrolls lore nerd without playing ESO. Shame most TES fans wouldn't touch the game with a 10 foot pole, but the lore is so rich. The lore nerds who never played ESO don't know that: Under Markarth there is a powerful heart that can be reactivated and can be used to swallow the souls of the inhabitants of entire cities. The gem within the Dawnbreaker is the essence of a Breton hero who sacrificed himself to save Summerset from Nocturnal. And they should destroy the thieves guild using the Dawnbreaker to enact revenge lol. The Empire can still fight the Thalmor even if they lose Skyrim because they always have the Sea Elves to ally with. The Forsworn saved Skyrim from utter destruction when Vampires and Werewolves invaded. I don't play anymore because Zenimax is run by terrible human beings.
What is terrible about Zenimax? Price gouging? Bad balance? Poor customer support? Edit: I'm genuinely curious and these aren't rhetorical questions just guesses based on other live-service game problems.
Sure I can, crabman! Watch me. See, here I am, an elder scrolls lore nerd and I haven't touched that live service "game" Slowly but surely these live services will die off, and we'll get to play some actual games again!
Never could feel anything but admiration for her strength and contempt for her deeds. Her ultimate weakness was her disloyalty ending in delicious doom.😀
DB is actually the only quest line I’ve totally completed in ESO and it was incredible and gripping. I roleplayed the entire thing and it took forever but was worth it.
I was surprised by how much I liked the Gold Coast storyline, because usually ESO likes to water down all the morally grey aspects of the universe to better target a PG-13 audience.
Unrelated and out of the blue question: are there any plant-based daedra? How I got to this question: I'm currently reading through the "Rage of Elements" Book from Pathfinder 2e, where they introduced plant/wood and metal elementals, and due to planning a TES campaign for my group, I noticed that basically all the elementals from pf2e are covered by daedra, except wood/plants. So that got me curious. If there are, I couldn't find them yet.
The DB story was so disappointing to me i didn't care for any of the members save for tongue lyra was much more interesting and i was hoping for the option to join her but nope i had to serve the DB it was extremely unsatisfying
Just wanted to ask, even though I know I can probably find the answer on Google. What is the difference between the Cygnus Irregulars legion and the Order of The Hour?
It was so annoying that you were shoehorned into only siding with the Dark Brotherhood in the Gold Coast DLC. At many points the games do not cater to divergent viewpoints in players imo. I detest the DB and all they do and stand for. The Order of the Hour are my kind of people, crusading knights with fantastic drips and higher purposes, brave warriors who fight in the light and face to face unlike DB cowards. And although the DLC from a storyline perspective was cool and enjoyable, I would've wanted to play it from their perspective and eradicate the Gold Coast sanctuary. It doesn't sit well with all of us to align with satanic, blood-bathing and murder-reveling fanatics and every time the motives of the DB was questioned in game or debated I was like "yeah, I know, I completely agree" lol. And I really hoped Lyra's appearance would present the option to defect and aid Viria. She was way cooler than all DB assassins combined. But sadly no.
Because it's the Dark Brotherhood DLC not the Order of the Bit- I mean Hour DLC. Besides, Lyra was a damned traitor and her loyalty means nothing when she can be swayed to switch sides like she was May she suffer eternally in The Void 🍷
1:52 ... A True Assassin is NOT ... a murderer. They are NOT the same or even similar. A True Assassin does The Work for The State ... that few others CAN DO ... for The Good of The State. They Are Professionals. Common Murderers are Criminals and need to be incarcerated and treated as Criminals. They are NOT the Same. They (a Quality Assassin) DO THE WORK ... that Allows the good, clueless, common people, to sleep well at night. Quality Assassins do The Special Work that few can understand. In morrowind morag tong are not criminals. But the dark brotherhood is outlawed everywhere and considered criminals and murder people outside the law. So yeh. Naryu is a legal professional, but dark brotherhood are still criminals.
Making excuses for murderers is just that “excuses” Naryu was a professional murderer but a common murderer nonetheless the less. You on the other hand are especially cringe and pathetic to whinge in defence of a fictional murderer. 😒

Lyra's death is the most convincing evidence of the existence of Sithis in the Elder Scrolls universe.
I think sithis appears like a snake too and has a sorta condescending attitude
