Amazing table piece there....❤ the aircraft I am talking about....I am a scale model kit maker and have a lot of the birds in my collection.... suggestion: can you do a podcast also on scale model making for the Indian Air Force, Army, Navy and other militaries of the world?
42:40 Navel MiG29s were deployed because of two reasons, N MiG29 are agile and quick to deploy and need a smaller runaway as in Laddak oxygen level is low and therefore you need a longer runway to gain the flying momentum. Why is there no mention of TEDBF? The Indian Navy has heavily invested in TEDBF.
It would take 5 to 10 years for Rafale M to be delivered from the order date. As the Dassault books are filled with orders in hundreds. This delay in this war looming times is unjustifiable.
Can we please get a podcast on the HR policies of Government organizations including PSU’s where Top scientists leave organizations such as HAL, ARDE, DRDO due to bad HR policies related to promotions and a lack of focus on retaining important talent. e.g Sanjay Sharma quitting HAL?
The Aircraft Carriers should be equipped with Rafales and the MiG29Ks can be based at Kochi as an intermediate trainer before the pilots go on to the Rafael Ms.
Naval Fighter vs Airforce fighter......comparison itself is moot. Only medieval Navies and Airforces are stuck in those comparison. Pretty soon both of these job profiles will be in history book. Next generation Navies and Airforces are focussed on how to make that leap, those generation behind will belobor on that moot point. Mig 29 especially K series was always a peice of crap and will remain so. Russians know it, once they sold whole of their lot never went back to it. Indians were the only fools in the town to pay for it in cash. For equipment that China rejected and even Russian Navy thought was good riddance.
Why are we not looking at Stealth fighters like F22 or F35 for this navy fighters deal? Apparently Rafael M is also not cheap. Even if we get half the numbers of F35 for the money, they will be worth every penny, give China is fielding J20 across LAC. Quality matters and world powers who we will contest in Indian Ocean have stealth fighters. They can be force multipliers on land or sea. I didn’t see this point being brought up in the discussion. Great informative discussion as always!
Why Indian Navy not choose FA18 with F414 EPE, except geo politics (arm twisting) of USA. Also can't understand why Tejas MK2 not come with F414 EPE(110KN). Why Indian Airforce always choose 2nd best option.
Should buy 26 Rafale M + IAF 60-80 Rafale f4.2/5, with Indian mission capabilities --- both locally build & cost- optimised. And scrap MRFA,, ditch import lobby , no brainer.
I wait for you two to talk. Absolutely no nonsense, no chest thumping but pure facts and logic. ❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing episode as always. It's criminal that your likes and views are in just hundreds and not hundreds of thousands. Keep grinding !!!
Highly educational and informative Video!Shiv Aroor has become a sort of expert on Defence Matters. He has taken lot of pains to study the subject.
Hi guys , can you please break down and analyse all the competitiors in MRFA deal and what air craft would you guys prefer ?

Also P8I were doing surveillance sorties on the Indo China border 😊

The USA dont sell F22 to anybody. And they will not sell F35 to a friend of Russia.
Hard bargaining should be done before purchasing anything. The last time it was not done, it seems.
15:42 I don't necessarily think that Shiv is aware of what fifty shades of gray actually means
Shiv pl elobrate why the Apaches were bought for the Army Aviation and the Air Force in such small numbers
Shiv why do you add so much chaff. Is it just to drag the time?
God saves public of the nation from this kind of media.....
Why would Russia buy Brahmos when it has the P-800 Oniks which is essentially the same missile. Plus it has the Khinzal which is hypersonic.
Guys whats that random podcast video in between. This is not the first time i guess. It happened in one of the previous video.
That’s a break :) But yeah seems confusing. We’ll do better.
@@shivaroor oops sorry to say it did not blend well. Otherwise great series. Please keep it coming

I think MMRCA will be cancelled if Tejas mk2 makes its first flight in 2026.
Navy has lca Tejas which they could use but they have trashed it for imported hardware.
Shiv, plz update us on MRFA & chances of american fighters?
Bro this all are useless discussion and pointless , waste of time
@@aer.onavel very true
These foreign countries would have been laughing on our back as to what circus is being held for last 20 yrs just to buy very few needed planes
