Anyone else think Eric is an absolute genius? Many CEOs lose sight of the simple fact that if you listen to the customers, you will be successful. Eric has a firm grasp on that, and that's how he's the head of a company with one of the most dedicated consumer bases in the world.

I am still using my Pebble Time watch. Quality is the best. And the battery's still in good condition. I believe Pebble is the best smart watch ever. But sad to know company went bankrupt
the interviewer seemed a bit uncomfortable but the ceo is so warm and friendly. looking forward to this new product line!
My Pebbles are awesome. My Time Steel stays on for 10++ days. Always on, e-paper is the way to go(until better batteries are invented). Steady updates that add beneficial, well thought out functionality are almost unheard of. He listens and acts on feedback? No words.
Why did you get bought up by fit bit?
The CEO always seems so nice in anything I've ever seen him in. Love the new pebble time 2 and the core is a neat idea just keep it on yourself or keychain. not a big deal at all in my opinion.
Love the idea of pebble core! For music streaming and gps does it have it's own data connection? Do you need to pay a subscription? Or do you download a playlist, via Spotify Premium, or a book via audible for example?

the guy's a genius. I backed a Pebble Time 2, for something a bit more formal or professional looking than the original pebble or the Pebble Time.
I loved the Pebble company from the first day I hear about them and just last week I finally got myself a Pebble and it's amazing :)

Eric is a genius for sure. I am very excited for the new products. I wanted to get the Pebble Time for my birthday but am now looking more toward the Pebble 2. They all seem like great products. They are such an awesome company and I look forward to seeing these products in person.
I was going to get pebble time for my birthday as well, but then I saw this add and the pebble time 2 and pebble 2 is more for your money. Now I have too chose between pebble 2 and pebble time 2.

Guys the price of the Pebble Time (1st gen) is going down to ~120 dollars. The Pebble 2 is about 100 on kickstarter. Which one should I go for? Is the sacrifice for the colored LCD worth the extra heart rate monitor? Please share your opinions with me. Thank you :)
I say just get the pebble 2. The color, IMO isn't very important, and the heart rate monitor is very worth it, I think
I think the displays aren't working yet, because the watches all show different times and they don't change.

Keenly waiting for Time 2. Will be my first smartwatch! Hope it will be a wise decision to go for it over android wear watches.

They just made 2 new finishes on the Pebble Round so i doubt there would be a new one soon.
i find it odd that pebble has not been purchased by google, apple, microsoft or even facebook. pebble is such a nice product.

The technology might not be there yet. You have to remember that Pebble doesn't make anything. They buy from other vendors.

Pebble Core is the only one that has GPS. The watches don't. Read the KickStarter campaign again.

I think the Pebble 2 shouldve had a color display.. its such a beautiful device but a dealbreaker for me, cause of the lack of a color display. I know it will find its buyers though, but for me.. I cant wait for my Time 2.
I'm with you, but I also think it's amazing that they're putting a SmartWatch out for 99 dollars that has pretty much every capability of SmartWatches that cost 4 times that. I could see a lot of people who hadn't seen a point in SmartWatches getting interested in the Pebble 2, since it's getting down to the cost of stuff like fitbit, but with significantly better functionality. So while I'm with you, I would've loved to see color on the P2, I still see why they didn't do it. The Time 2 looks absolutely gorgeous. With the bigger screen and thus shrunken bezels, combined with that nice metal finish really puts it up there in looks for SmartWatches in my opinion.
Honestly it's not one of the best smartwatches.. its one of a kind.. for ONE reason, that Color E-Paper display. I'll take 64 colors or whatever, but always on without a disturbing Backlight, more than an LCD with a backlight anyday. I think Pebble should always stay non-touchscreen, and always E-Paper.

They combine the time and time steel line together, there will be no time steel 2, just time 2
