Love Hendo and love seeing the older stuff. Last two vintage Omegas worth a bit more than quoted. MKII: If a standard dial yes around 1800-2k, but with that Racing dial (which is in great condition) probably 1000-1500 more. Some dealers ask way way more than that too depending on condition and provenance. PS: Was nowhere near 800-1000 when new as produced late 60’s early 70’s PPS: Keep up the variation in brands guys. Loved your old videos filmed outside of the shop.
So good to see Hendo back! With the Flightmaster it was indeed rare with a production of around 37,000 so very small indeed. There is an even rarer version in solid gold with only 200 produced, the first example going to King Hussain of Jordan. The production of the flightmaster went from 1969 to 1977. A rare and highly prized Omega. The other one is the first one you showed and I agree with Hendo completely on his information about it being gold plated and it being a higher quality watch probably around forty microns. Gold filled is thicker than that. Gold capped is a different thing having a shell of gold bonded by fusing on a base or steel metal and is very noticeable if you look under the lugs. It would have to be polished very hard to go through the capped version. You ace see the plating worn off on the top of the lug on the example shown. All are lovely watches!
Must be mates with an AD or have some spend history. Probably purchased it, regretted buying it straight away because it’s a stinking looking watch and thought they’d sell it to make some profit.
Second this but probably won’t be as he is most likely floating that AD, I’m pretty sure the AD in question will know instantly who the flipper was as probably one or two where sold in 2024… but the flipper won’t care as he’d be on several AD’s books and quite comfortable financially…
What a load of rubbish on the Vintage Box and Papers.. If I came to you with a Vintage Watch lets say a Red Sub with no box and papers your telling me you would pay me the same money as if I was to come to you with the same watch but with Box and papers.??? I think not my Friend
Top chat as always guys ! Glad Hendo is back as well.

I love the Omega with original Rolex crown…
That was a good deal on the Tudor.
7:26 Original rolex crown on and omega?! doesn't that make it incredibly rare?
Saco buyer should be blacklisted immediately
