  • This video shows the process in accessing the radio knob by removing the radio/cd player from vehicle. This is a common issue found with Pontiac vibes and Toyota Matrix ranging in year models. The one in the video is a 2010 Vibe.

    interesting. I was thinking of popping the tuner knob and swapping with the broken radio power button knob. I may do that and still fix the broken one and put it on the tuner side.

    I think will be good to put a little epoxy inside the new bottom to prevent cracking in the future.

      agreed. I used a bit of mighty putty for re-enforcement

    How is the knob holding up after being glued?

    What size did you use for the PCB bolts? I tried the smallest two I had: 4mm and 5/32" and both were too large.

      Can't say i remember. I had a computer repair kit that the right size. if i end up taking it apart again I can update

      Saw the OEM price. lol. They are on eBay for 10$ but i figured id see if i could still use what i got given i have to take it apart anyways. Still haven't had any issues with it...knock on wood

      sure, but mine was broke in such a way that the only option was to take it apart.
