How do these guys run small tires in the front without blowing the transfer case to pieces
They run different gearing in the axles to where its not much strain on the transfer case. Some do have the front spinning a little bit faster but when its spinning its not enough to do damage. Thanks for the comment!
It also helps they are on mud. That can help decrease the bind and provide material give. If they were on pavement, it would be a different story. Usually they have the front spinning faster to keep it straight and pull forward. Sometimes with the same gear ratio, even though the wheel speed is evenly split, the rear tries to pass the front.
