    Big improvement over the original base of the self shaping - really big improvement all the way around. Really glad you added the averaging function to smooth out the data. Looking forward to 2.0 even more now :D Great work. Just used it a little. Really like how you can delete out the outliars in the logged data and then average the rows out to keep things more in line.

      Glad you like it! Hint...you can edit (delete or change the number) in the normal histogram one cell at a time for stuff like those outliers. Ideally the outliers would be filtered out by setting the cell hits in the scanner though...but data wrangling is all part of tuning I suppose!

    Awesome seeing this being out already. I definitely think having the interpolation inside the assistant is a good idea, it would almost eliminate having to use the fill in the blank feature BUT the fill in the blank feature is still cool and in rare instances I can see where I would want to still use it. You nailed it. I wonder how many iterations it would take to get it close to perfect, probably depends on how you drive and get the data.

      The number of iterations to nail down the shape will come down to two factors mainly:
      1) How many cells have histogram data from the log
      2) How close the desired shape generated by the "copy-paste-special" generates a shape that naturally satisfies the coefficients
      A third factor would be, of the cells that are missing data...how close to the final shape are those "dead" cells.

    I used the last version a lot! You should make one for speed density using the IMRC open and closed ve tables

      Thanks for the support!
      Can you let me know what challenge you are facing with the SD in this tool? Many people are using this for the SD OS's, it works. I think the only real benefit would be the fact that you can merge and average multiple logs together. But I would like to know your thoughts on how it can be better.
      I will be applying the 2 bar SD OS on my car soon...so I will see if there is an opportunity to add new/different support. Honestly though, I just don't feel like this tool is really needed for SD that since there are no coefficients to get in the way. A copy/paste special % and you are done (of course you'll need to smooth it out).

    Can you explain how to go about ect/iat bias for SD tunes.

    • @SilverSurfer77
      @SilverSurfer77  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is not something I have dealt with yet. However, in a few months I should have all the parts together and will be flashing the 2 bar enhanced SD OS from HPT. As I experiment with this (and everything else) I will share my findings (as always).

      Thanks I went to 2 bar to see if it was easier to tune. I got a good theory going on the bias but could use some external input and logic.

    Does this work with MAF enabled, or do we still need to fail the MAF?

    • @SilverSurfer77
      @SilverSurfer77  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Disabling the MAF is the hard way and the old way to tune VE! I also do NOT like the GMVE method either. I have devised a way to make like so much easier. Please watch this video, the description has the link to the formulas (just make sure you are logging all the correct channels for it to work).

      @@SilverSurfer77 thanks. I did watch the video. It was just never stated in the video whether you could do the VVE tuning method with the dynamic air calculation with the MAF still enabled. I just wanted clarification.
      I saw your forum posts and I just downloaded VVE assistant as well :) does VVE assistant work in a similar manner? AKA I can leave MAF enabled and use VVE assistant?

    • @SilverSurfer77
      @SilverSurfer77  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes leave MAF enabled always. Also, the old rules apply when it comes to using slow and deliberate throttle movements. Avoid harsh inputs and hit as many cells for as long as you can in the histo.

    I have an additional VVE Delta tab. Is that correct?

    • @SilverSurfer77
      @SilverSurfer77  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes... you can turn that off in the options. It's used in background calculations but not really needed for the average human. Should make it run faster if you turn it off.
