That is great to hear! When I started out I always felt like the existing stuff didn't really help me, so I was determined to do it right. The goal is to teach so you can make you own decisions on HOW to tune, rather than following a bland recipe. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel! I appreciate your kind words.
Thank you so much for being you! Please keep the uber nerd stuff (related to the super complicated DOHC cam LFX) coming. I finally have my LFX-RX8 back on the road (mechanical issues fixed), and it's time to start to dig into LFX tuning, so this is perfect timing for me!
That is great to hear! Hopefully no more mechanical issues! I do believe you had commented on a past video about how no one talks about or posts any content related to DOHC cam tuning, which blows me away! But anyway, VVE Assistant 2 should make this much easier and better (v1 is kinda crappy at managing this). One day I will get v2 finished!
The LFX also suffers/benefits from a scavenging mode courtesy of the dual independent camshafts, which adds yet another dimension to the VVE calculation. It is particularly important on turbo applications.
I love these videos because you explain how stuff works vs other hpt videos that say “go to table X and add 10 percent“ without explaining why.

One last thing, the memes are hilarious!
You are a man of exceptionally great taste!
Another fantastic video!
You have impeccable taste, sir!
Awesome as always. Thank you!!

@@SilverSurfer77 yessir, that was me! Looking forward to learning how to use the new v2 update when it comes out!

I'm just commenting so the algorithm boosts this video.
My man! Thank you!
Do you know if E39 LHU engines are considered gen iv or v? I thought it was IV but it uses pressure ratio so maybe its V? Thanks for your videos!
Yes E39 and E39A are Gen4 ECM's. Also note that the E78 is also a Gen4 variant that uses pressure ratio.
@@SilverSurfer77 appreciate you. 👍
I like it
My man! I knew you would! LOL
First 😊
Just writing first doesn't count. At least say "Nice video mate!"
Great video Great information. 👍
