@@Wettoast I’m just not a fan of the look or sound, especially compared to the other exhausts that are available. The Shorty has a much more aggressive sound for a fraction of the price, the TBR is just hands down my favorite for both looks and sound, and the V&H is a much more refined and throaty sound compared to Coffman’s, plus beats it in the looks category in my opinion.
@@Sphoxros I have one on mine. only downfall is it quickly loses the cheap paint on it. I sanded and repainted it with some high heat paint but the metal is kinda cheap too so its starting to rust again. I got about 3000 miles before it started looking bad after painting it myself though.
@@bentgolden Am now actually getting the Miller exhaust with the blacked out tapered end, its spendy but everyone I know that has one says you can't beat the sound and quality.

This was EXCELLENT!!! Thanks to everyone for loaning their bikes for this, and Mike for putting it together. I have the TBR exhaust, and the only one I was like "ooohhh" for was the shorty GP, but I prefer the TBR styling (but damn that price tag)
Hey man! I’m new to the world of bikes, researching what my first bike should be. Fell in love with the rebel 500.. Came across your channel and just love your content man! I’ve spent literally the entire day watching every video of yours 😂 I’m from Bel Air, MD. Just wanna say keep it up, and thanks for the great content!
You might want to consider the rebel 1100, since you can learn how to ride in rain mode, and then still have an 1100cc bike when you develop the skill set. That's what I'm doing.
the first 3 Rebels had headlight fairings that covered the instrument panels. could your please provide information on what those items were and where to find them. i am looking for a headlight fairing that comes up a little higher to cover the instrument panel plastics.
This was a perfect comparison video. I'm on a 500SE with a Falcon Double Groove. It runs parallel to the ground and sounds and looks fantastic. Comes with removable baffle. I assume there will be one for the 1100 as well as one from Miller which was really my first choice but I ran into excessive add-on costs coming from Germany so I cancelled that order. Hopefully if and when I get the 1100 both will be available for it.
Hey! I have a 500SE too with the stock exhaust and I want to change it. Would you be kind to make a video in your youtube account, with your exhaust. Would love to hear how it sounds
@@At3nT There are a couple vids here on YT that show a Rebel 500 with Falcon Double groove exhaust. You might search that. But definitely check out "A Young Oldtimer". He has an unboxing, installation and sound checks of stock, Falcon with baffle and without that does a pretty good job of capturing what the exhaust sounds like but in person the sound of it with and without baffle is beefier. You should jump to around 9:30 to just hear the exhaust comparisons skipping the install. He also has another vid he did later with drive by's but I don't think they fully capture it the power and volume of the sound but it is done well. These 2 vids really helped sell me. Videos are tough to get a true sense and sound of an exhaust. I couldn't do any better and my bike is put away for winter anyway. Check out Miller exhaust for the Rebel 500 as well. That's the exhaust I really wanted as noted above. No regrets about getting the Falcon tho. I love how it sounds without the baffle but it has gotten too loud for me so I have drilled holes in the baffle as an in between. Still ride sometimes w/o the baffle. You may also want to search here for Scorpion exhaust. Mark Pulling did a review of the 500 that had a Scorpion on it that sounded fantastic. But holy S**t! I just found a fantastic vid from BR-Performance TV with a Scorpion exhaust! Damn.....if that vid was out when I was shopping I really might have gotten that exhaust. Good luck and ride safe.

@@Duckie313 If your in Europe good idea with a Miller. Listening to the sound comparison with TwoBros it doesn’t sound as good. But sound over the internet is difficult to compare.
@@gc6854 Miller will come with 3 options, California / Euro 5 street legal baffle, "racing" baffle and no baffle. So You can choose the level of "noise" you want. I will go with the racing baffle, but have a street legal baffle at hand in case I am stopped by the police and have to bring it up to code. Loud exhaust very much illegal where I live... I am mostly after the look anyways, so even if it is street legal, I at least get rid of the huge original can. ;)

I'm leaning towards a TBR exhaust for it as that is what I have on my crf450x and it is awesome! On my 500 I had an arrow exhaust as that's all that was available at the time in Aus. Did you also get a tune with it or just whack it on and send it?
Awesome video, thanks for all of the info you provide! Random question - do you know what model of windscreens are on the second and third bikes in this video?
