The roads to Pokhara are being upgraded to 4 lanes, or else they were nice earlier. Air travel to and from Pokhara will be the best for the moment and don't fall too much into news circulated over the internet on air accidents in Nepal . That is mostly for high terrain flights with very small aeroplanes ....rest are bigger crafts and are safe as you like ...
