Since implementing some of your techniques (setting boundaries) in my online meeting profile I don’t get as many dusties as i use to . Also when meeting I have offered to pay my own and I feel proud about it and gives me a sense of control in this dating thing.
Now I am seeing someone who says things like us and we (referring me and him) when he talks about the future and his plans, as well literally wanna do things to make me happy. Takes genuine interest in me and the things I’m interested in. I feel like it’s authentic and may go somewhere however my boundaries and standards are still in tact . There’s absolutely no sex talk ( as with previous men which was an absolute turn off) . He talks and expresses his desire to not only date me and only me but to also court me . He drives to see me with no problem (an hour) . He’s physically to my liking and don’t have a gang of kids .
He’s expressed through our conversations how knowledgeable I am ( I be quoting some of your advice in our conversations)
Also Me: in my head (God let this be real and give me strength to keep my legs CLOSED)
I’ll admit, it’s been a while since I’ve encountered a man like this . His character and actions sounds so promising to me however it’s been a while since I’ve been courted .

In our society today sexual intimacy is seen as an acceptable route to getting to know someone outside of marriage . People of all ages speak on having sex and being intimate as the norm not the exception. And women speak on it A LOT, “I need mines”, “I cannot go without it”. And I’m talking women my age(50+). Women are perceived as easy because we do not set good boundaries and advocate for ourselves early in relationships. This male dominate society is hard on women in sooo many ways, especially women of color. If you read statistics, we have better chances at being struck by lightning than a successful marriage. Tony reiterates daily the same message, no disrespect, LOVE YOURSELF AND FOLLOW GOD AND THE REST FALLS IN PLACE!!!!! Loving yourself is a BEAUTIFUL THANG!!!! And loving God is BEST!!!!
