So no runs from the edge board constantly getting the start spray on it drip off ? I'm interested in spraying all my walls but wondering if I need to put tarps down on the floors
They drip. But I make sure to clean it off before it drips to the floors. I wouldn’t recommend spaying your walls. Rollin is better. This is in apartments where quantity is more important
Depends on experience and patiences and skills, a quality masking job or removal of your base, covering your floors you can definitely spray your walls and ceilings, no roller! Etc. The main thing is your equipment, learning the in and out of a sprayer, I have multiples, I use my titan 440 or my graco 395 in houses, the main thing is your tips a 313 hea tip, which stands for high efficiency low pressure, will keep down overspray and very low VOC, especially if you're using waterborne paint, if you run a hea gauge on your pump and your gun ,it tells you pretty much where to keep your pressure, two each his own, my advice would be to use a 6 inch wand learning about tips fan size and orifice size, and spraying techniques, learning to keep your fan pattern up & down for your first coat and left to right for your second or vice versa, stay away from bad habits like spitting, that's what you see in some videos i.e stopping and starting from end to end on your plane, with enough knowledge you'll be really good. Oh and if you have to stop in the middle of a plane, you swipe your paint pass on when you pull the trigger( having a nice gun with a smooth trigger pull is relatively essential it helps minimize spitting and overspray) never spray directly from where you stopped(pointing the gun directly at the wall) consistency is what you're looking for, if you prep well you can paint any residential area and commercial space with ease, 8min- 20min+ and save more time. Apartment paint is not residential painting, you can't say sloppy or not! It's what the management pays for. Quantity over quality for sure

Carpet washing exist. Apartments get that done before a new resident comes in. Over spray is just dust that falls from the paint. Not a big deal
