Fantastic explanation & visual on how/why all this works. I couldn't find anything like this on graco's site, bad graco, bad, bad graco! Great job thank you, think I'll get one.
Hi great video, this may sound ljke a silly question but do you get your spray pattern correct first, and then when its acceptable you put the clean shot valve on. Thank you
Spraying at 1500 psi and nothing comes out, turned the knob more to flush and it would spray once and then not again, turn a little more, spray once and not again. Just had to remove it altogether to keep working. Will have to dedicate some time in the future to figure this damn thing out.
I've been thinking about getting one for a while now! Not so much so much for using with my extention though. I keep getting minor spits without an extention. You know that little rubber seal that seats in the tip housing that comes with each and every tip? Mine's so jammed in there and worn. Could that be what's causing spits? Haha. I could just get a new housing but my threads on my gun are worn so bad that a new housing won't go on. Haha. But I heard you say this product won't stop spits unless it's caused by the worn needle. Could it stop in from my worn seals too?
Hi bro, my english is not good enough, I am not a native English speaker but I have one question about it, do I need to use this CleanShot if I use my gun without an extension? I have a graco ultra 395 pc with a contractor gun, same as yours
I second that questions! I did find on a different video elsewhere that they say that they don't want you to use any extensions because of the chance of explosion due to solvent-based products but if I'm not using a solvent based product shouldn't I be able to find one inch thread adapter down to 7/8?
John Deaton they are fully serviceable/repairable with all parts available from ourselves. Hard to say how long they last because it’s dependant on so many factors like; pressure, paint, usage, how it’s looked after etc.
hello ! can someone help me with a price for cleanshot valve? i have this graco gx21 airless pump and i do have this silly little problem also. Thank you in advance!
I don't use this clean shot. If I get any spits because I don't strain the paint or my filters are dirty . Typically I change my filters on the gun and the valve for every job and strain the paint , this prevents any spitting. If I still get Spitz it's because the paint is too thin and then I raise the pressure.
You talk a lot about the valve, and show us it in use, but you forgot to show the valve close up and how to actually adjust its settings and how to get it working correctly
If you want to see major spitting try using an extension without it with a 208 or 308 fflp tip. The orifice is so small that you get a long stream of paint coming out for several seconds... That honestly should have been demonstrated as a nightmare type scenario. Since you'll be losing all the pressure much slower aka much longer and drastic spitting. (Edited - Autocorrect messed up fflp)

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻thank you
Are these valves needed on the machines that use the true airless spray tips that supposedly sprays softer with less over spray?

Sounds like it is time for a new gun, if you cant even remove the guard. the rx-pro is great
can you shoot a new video about 1221 and 1223 tips. with 390 model can be use? or which sprayer? thanks

Great video!
Hi Josh, isn't it possible to use the cleanshot valve on a ultramax handheld with an adaptor that bridges the difference in thread?

Any Idea How Long These Clean shots Last Before replacement? And / Or Are There Replacements Repair Parts sold to rebuild the unit?

Nice video thanks a lot.
Is there a delay on trigger pull and paint spray
Can you use the clean shot valve with a regular graco extension? Or is there a special extension that you have to use?
Regular 🙂
hello !

Thank you in advance!
Thank you for info
Do you have use the extended bar with it out could it be hooked up to the spray gun only?
Thanks for information
Well explained.
Does it swivel??
Great, now your arm will hurt even more with the xtra weight, never have a spitting problem and I have a 36 inch extension?
well explained Josh
Thank you.

Not true at all if you get spitting then your pressure is too high
Well worth the 170 us dolar just for the tip.
You talk a lot about the valve, and show us it in use, but you forgot to show the valve close up and how to actually adjust its settings and how to get it working correctly
I have never in my life gotten called for spits......
when you use that spray guide with the wheel you better have one then. real deal spits using that
@@ancientpersianempire I've never used to spray guide looks completely stupid
Convulsing indeed!
The spraying looked the same
Are you sure your video quality wasnt at 240p ? The spits before the cleanshot was used are very clear on the top and bottom.
