Been running a airless sprayer every day for the past 15 years I average 600$ a day profit as a contractor painting apartments in the 901. It’s a good hustle when u get good running the gun!! Salute to my fellow painters!!💪💪💯💯
I like this,I don't have all day to paint& I hate using the roller on ceiling it looks horrible,I've been painting with paint brush & rollers& it takes 4 ever
I run a 313 or a 414 just enough pressure to get the line out and always up and down against the shield left and right on the bottom portion and then both in the middle for no lines are just back roll it’s less over spray and tighter lines
Thanks for the video. If you were not painting baseboards and doors, would you mask those to begin with. Is the shield tight enough to have that clean line without over spray in that case? If going from dark to light, or want a second coat in general, how long should you wait before applying - can that be done about an hour or 2 later to avoid re-taping issues?
you all prolly dont care but does any of you know a method to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my account password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Graysen Micah I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I can see your technique has improved a lot since that 9-minute paint a room video. You are smoother and more careful. Prep work saves so much time! Did you back roll the walls after you painted with the sprayer?
So much hate, but no videos... Any way, good showing. Question: is your shield smoothed out on the edges? When using mine, I try to slide it like you do in your videos, but it leaves marks on the wall. Also what pressure are working at?
Man this is sooooo tough!!! I have tried this 3 times now and every time I try I keep getting Overspray DRIP and waste even MORE time then I was trying to save. The level of control that must be had with that left hand is hard. Also, your spray feathers out real nice and that looks like Graco which is what I use. I been playing with pressure and everything! I only have 1 question, you have to be getting a little bit of blue on that ceiling (just a little!) - do you touch up afterword?
That usually depends on how leveled the ceiling and the walls are . Mostly on the corners. But when is good the line is perfect. If not . You would have minor touch ups
By the time you’ve masked up , blocked of areas and touched up the wall / ceiling lines , I’d of cut in, rolled and been home with my feet up and a coffee.
Agreed. My dad taught me rolling when I was eight. He was a maintenance guy in an apartment complex and regularly had to paint them. I don't think there is any comparison at all.
@@gangstalkingchronicles6949 absolutely mate. You just know it works. Works well and gives a quality finish . Not that spraying is bad it’s just most decorators worldwide use rollers over sprayers . Think that’s the answer
@@chll3194ch no a sprayer can get the paint way thicker on the wall the roller pulls paint off the wall. Spraying is way quicker if you know how to prep and clean your sprayer
Good job, don’t you take the mask off until you out of the room or properly negative ventilation is taking care of the chemicals particles that still suspended in the air, those are really the ones will arm you badly. Stay safe!!
Oh paint fumes..to some it's an occupational Hazzard..to others it's a fringe benefit..lol.. oddly enough latex paint dust is concerned the safest paint to be exposed to..but is actually WORSE for you than say the oil base or others that get you intoxicated.. was told you body can break down the others but latex/ water based is not as easy broke down in your body so does more harm..I'm guilty of over exposure to all of it.. I was foolish..at age 40 I was told that I had lungs of a 90 year old man. Worried me so much I started smoking 2 packs a day..I have to run up 3 flight of stairs with 2 bucket of paint and it ain't easy surely wished I'd learn to use protection in my Early years
th-cam.com/video/-ldKa8z5KNM/w-d-xo.html check out how I get down..even brush and roll you got prep.. my rig is quick flush..30 second I'm pushing paint..2bed 2bath apt unit prepped in 15 min..in 4 minutes walls are 75 percent done..as for my brush skill check out the other videos..one is doors / painting 1 per minute after prep .the prep takes 5 second ( use aluminum foil on knob..1inch tape ring to hold in place)
Who puts plastic on floor...smh...by the time u prep that room out...bust out ur rig ...prime the line ...i could throw down 2 runnners (drop clothes) n have that room cut n rolled with no touch up U dont have spray everything.. recreate the wheel.

No it doesn’t if u know what your doing and you did the standard two coats
Not really. I'm not trying to be rude but maybe your not doing it the best way because it should be pretty quick to do a roll job.
Nice work! Thanks so much!
What airless paint sprayer are you using ?
Hey brother you are the best and faster painter that I had seen
Great ! What is the name of the plate you use to clear your angles?
Paint shield
What is that flat sheet he's using to protect the ceiling from over spray
A shield ,
@@cerillo1000 try searching for that on eBay.. you'll end up with a bow and arrow
Try searching painters shield
Painters shield. $25 for solid steel at Sherman Williams
I got a smaller rig but I still didn't think you was supposed to continuously spray like that
You can but youve gotta keep it moving
Hello, what number of nozzles do you use when you are working with the cuttings? Greetings and a very good video.
I don’t know about him ,but I use the 313 , works perfect
AS wide as that spray pattern I would think its a 515

@Hugo Carmelo Happy to help xD
What is the name of your tool on your left hand ?

Marcus Fant never try to cut walls in like this with a spray machine please
@@robhodson7633 this is the future my friend

It’s fuuucking morning!!!
50 percent overlap and I use a 6 inch weenie roller to keep shield clean. 411 0r 310 helps keep over spray under control
Nice job , was that latex paint ? And did you have to thin it out ? Thank you please let me know.
That’s def latex. Hardly anyone sprays oil on walls anymore. If it was oil he wouldn’t be able to wipe it right off the spray shield.
Does it not splash on the ceiling when you paint the walls? All even? Clear?
That usually depends on how leveled the ceiling and the walls are . Mostly on the corners. But when is good the line is perfect. If not . You would have minor touch ups
Bravo💪

Rolling is also better because it’s heavier with paint on the walls
