My daughter makes scubbies, she crochet them. With cotton and scrubby yarn. So good !
Thanks so much for sharing your knitting and all the things and your time. Much appreciated. Lots or inspiration,❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love you ladies, I’ve been faithfully watching since the beginning! You guys crack me up! Yes, I am watching now!!! Cannot believe Laura remembers me from PUES☺️❤️Plan on stopping by on the 20th…looking forward to meeting Kevin and Ray too!
@@Thomas_mic hope to see you on the 20th!
Another great podcast ladies. Kim-to prevent laddering on small circumstance knitting, you might try "Knitting in Round on Two Circular Needles". It's not magic loop-in the traditional sense. You can size the last stitch properly since it's still on the back needle when you start knitting with the front needle. It's what I use for all my sleeves since my hand can't handle the shorties either without aching after awhile. Thanks for sharing.
@@kimsechrest2202 thank you for the tip!! 💕
Trying on Apple is fantastic, dare I say even better than Catastrophe(?!?!?). Every episode has me in tears which results in frogging 30 minutes of knitting. The designer behind the Michah sweater has a lovely podcast called Hannah Knits and she is adorable and pregnant. The tractor sweater is amazing. How fun would it be to go into my old knits and start duplicate stitching?, yeah, not happening. Such a treat to get on YT and see another podcast from you three, and so soon!!!
@@lauriejarboe6087 💕 the duplicate stitch is fun…give it a try! 😊
If you want to make the scrubbies and don't haveva loom there is a crochet pattern for scrubbies called scrubby set. It just uses scrubby yarn , but I don't see why you couldn't do the held double version. I just use bernat crafters cotton for disclothscand it works well.
Always- I mean ALWAYS(!)- the best podcasts on TH-cam! Best ideas, chit chat , recommendations, finished objects, laughs- oh- just everything. Feels like we are friends, and the time just flies. Thanks for it all!
@@karenclarke301 thank you for being part of the posse!! 💕
I watched I am Celine Dion, as well. It was amazing.
Oh my goodness....I laugh out loud watching your podcasts! Thanks for the laughs and the inspiration.
You ladies are so fun!! I love the camaraderie among you--so fun!! Kate, that duplicate stitching is amazing!! I always enjoy seeing what you are knitting. Kim--two large sweaters!! Wow!! Laura, that baby sweater is adorable! I'm making Eva Cardigans for my 3 grandsons for Christmas. Stay cool in your heat and humidity! I live in northern CA and it's over 100 most days lately, but luckily no humidity. Praying for sweater weather!!
@@cwanlin128 it’s impressive that you are starting your Christmas knitting in July!! Thank you for watching! 💕
Busted! I got lots of tobacco leaf scent and the lavender wool wash. 😊 if we’re gonna be chest-bumping at Rhinebeck, I’ve gotta smell good, right?! 😂
🤣
So much inspiration. I was especially taken with Laura’s sweaters.
So nice to see you again and I can’t believe how much and how many socks you got done while doing so much. The summer has been so busy for you. I hope you get settled in your new place and enjoy your sewing classes. I started sewing again also and I’m enjoying it so much. Hope you have a fun two weeks and I will see you soon again. ✌🏼
I went to Montana State! I need that graph- it is fantastic❤️Pleasssseee!,,
GO CATS,
I made the logo on stitchboard.com. It's free! -Kate
I always look forward to your podcasts because it always includes great knits, but I also love to hear about your knitting adventures. Kate, Owls Head is a beautiful place. I was happy to hear you talk about On The Round yarn because it is one of my favorites, and Rachel has said that her business is struggling. She relies on social media for advertising, but recent changes in the algorithms have kept people from seeing her posts.
I am so glad you enjoyed Owls Head. There are several great yarn shops along the way, including Cashmere Goat in Camden and Mother of Purl in Freeport.
Great episode! I just read "Sandwich" and I read it one day on a 2-flight journey cross country trip. Loved it! Also just finished "Year of Wonders" published years ago by Geraldine Brooks and loved it. So many great projects...great episode!
Always have the best time watching the 3 of you!
You ladies are so entertaining and down to earth. I always take something away from your podcasts. So many knits to put on the want list. Have a great summer.
@@sallythompson2635 thank you! Enjoy your summer and happy knitting! 🧶
As always Thankyou for such a fun podcast. I absolutely laugh out loud with watching the fun banter and things that are said. So much fun as well as great simple knits that fit into your wardrobes. I have watched every episode since the beginning. Saying hi from Australia !!
Thank you for saying hello and being part of our Posse!!💞 It still amazes and excites us that we have viewers all over the world!!
I love so many things in this episode, but am completely taken by those mugs - oh how I wish your store was near me!❤
🌟Thank you for this episode, again it was filled with a good mix of knitting, laughter and different projects. I love your giggles and your friendship, it brightens the day. At the moment I read „All the colours of the dark“ too, it is so good that I just can’t put it down 📖. Have a great weekend 🌼
Ooh, I can't wait to read it!! (Laura)
@@knittingpossect In some parts it is quite hard to 📚read, the characters are going through a lot…..but you just want to know. Very well written. 🙋🏼♀️
Thanks so much for sharing; it is always a joy to watch your podcast! The Sonya shirt just moved up my queue, Laura, yours is stunning! Kim, I just finished All the Colors of the Dark this week. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Hope you get some cooler weather soon.
I get a lot of knitting done during grand slams too and I love Federer.
Kate
Thanks for mentioning Stitchboard. My grandson wants a sweater with the NHL logo so this should help.
@@joandloughy5210 it was my first time using it but won’t be my last! 😊 Good luck with your hat!
I love your podcast. Your humor is awesome and you are obviously very good friends and brilliant knitters.
Thank you for the information regarding the patterns. I am not sure who did it but she would know that the Blue Tee shirt with the fancy shoulder and bottom ribbing detail is very pretty. Thank you again.
@@mariehansen2534 thank you!! 💕
Just finished the poppy tee in black that you showed on your last episode and now I think I have to knit the Sonya shirt. You’re all so inspiring, thanks.
@@sabinebauerle7655 happy to help! 🤣 Thank you for watching!
Hi from ( not to far away) NYC. I also love going to Pick up every stitch after your recommendation!
A few years back I make face scrubbies by crocheting them. They were a hit with the young adults. Thanks for you entertaining - as always-podcast.
@@yarnhoarder will we see you at PUES on July 20th? We will post on Instagram when we plan to be there. What yarn and pattern did you use for your scrubbies?
Always fun ladies! Thanks for another great episode :).
@@bethmacdonaldstone looking forward to seeing you soon!
I am very jealous that you have so many LYS options. My closest shop, other than JoAnn or Michaels, is 45 min away and is about the size of a walk-in closet. There are cerainly others further away but those trips are hard to justify for limited purchases. I find I do more of my shopping online so I really appreciate all of the information you provide about the yarns you use. It has definitely influenced a few purchases.
@@juliamorrisey5541 glad we are helpful! 😊 Thanks for being part of our posse! 💕
Hello from Deep South Texas. What a fun episode. So much inspiration. Thanks. Hugs.
@@nancymorales2741 I hope you were safe in the the hurricane! Thank you for watching! 💕
@@knittingpossect Thank you. We’re way down south on the border. We were hoping to get a bit of rain but it was minimal.
Thanks so much for another fun and informative podcast. Love all your knits - very inspirational. I have always enjoyed knitting Caidree patterns. Kim, on your podcast the sweater looks like the collar is similar to a turtleneck. Did you make modifications to the pattern? I love the way your sweater looks. Thanks
You maybe mentioned it somewhere but what was the hat pattern used for the Montana Bobcat hat! It’s a wonderful team logo hat!!! ❤
@@anitaferguson814 www.ravelry.com/projects/kwf/my-bakers-hat Go Cats!
Wonderful podcast, love all the recommendations for new yarns and patterns. Question, Kim took out a large gauge ruler from her train case, it was clear and look like a magnifying ruler. Would you be able to tell me the make or company where to buy it. Thank you
@@Fran-yh8vy hello it’s Kate (Kim is away). I have one too and I believe we got them at Pick up Every Stitch (You could call and ask them if they have any) I would love to tell you the brand but I can’t seem to locate mine right now…probably because I need a train case!! 🤣
@@knittingpossect lol that's funny. Can you ask Kim when she get back because I am in Toronto so hard to call the U.S. If not no worries, thank you!
@@Fran-yh8vy you got it!
Great to see you all. Hey where was the mug from? I think you said they sold fast... if gone who made them? Love Cobalt blue/ yarn & cats!
@@carlahibbard1776 hello! The mugs came from the shop that Kim works at and those were the last two! Sorry, there is no label on the bottom.
Hello ladies.. Love your podcasts. You show things I do not see in the Midwest. I do have a question about Kate’s frogs. I have the pattern and I am working on it & I would love to add the sneakers. I have looked through your past videos & I cannot find a reference to where Kate purchased them or what size. If possible, can you please tell me where I can purchase a pair? Thank you so much for your time and help. Happy Knitting and I hope you all get your Knitting mojo back. Best Wishes, Marsha😊

Love remix light for summer. No wool and now there is a remix chunky.
So much fun, as always! I meant to ask after the previous episode, what size silicone cord did you get?
@@barbaram4372 3mm cord 😊
It's been so long since I've watched an episode. great to see makes of any kind. can you please stop talking over each other. i can't hear what anyone says. happy knitting
I detest Berroco Remix Light. Currently knitting the Pressed Flowers Cardigan with it. Can't stand the way it feels. Very fragile. I will never buy it again.
🥰
Hi There from Australia. Thankyou for your podcasts. Your projects are inspirational and down to earth.
I am not as an accomplished and fast knitter like you now as I am older with health issues but knit mainly socks and baby clothes due to arthritis. You are such a happy lot 💕 and love all your projects. Keep it up.
@@belindahawkins644 💕
Nice podcast but there's too many people talking at once.
Yikes ladies, hard to watch and listen because you all are talking over each other.
