Yes Ladies! Flock is wonderful! My daughter and I went this past weekend from SF. Spent Thursday flying in then driving up to Bainbridge and spent the afternoon doing a whole lot of wonderful damage at L&K. The shop and ladies are the Best. La Mercerie just up the street as well. Dont forget the Chihuly museum in Seattle and Pop Culture Museum. My husband and I spent 2 weeks driving aground Iceland 2 years ago before it got so popular. Driving a piece of cake on beautiful roads and stayed for 2 nights at about 3 or 4 places around the island and were glad we did that. Iceland is a very special adventure…..
I have knitted the Georgie 5 times as the pattern is a great base for lots of options. One I did I just did the pattern till it was time to join in the round and did plain the rest of body. A couple I have done in colour blocks just love the fit

We took the ferry to Bainbridge Island on Thursday and visited La Mercerie and The Lamb and Kid… it was a good thing because getting near their booths on Saturday was challenging. Sunday was easier… I saw a picture of Kevin and Ray posted on instagram, but I didn’t run into them.
It was wonderful to see you all today and all your lovely knits!! I purchased so many minis during covid--not really sure why. But, I've found Ambah O'Brien and Lisa Ross both have many mini patterns. I've also used them in the Beachy Keen shawl, and in sweaters as well--the Sea Glass Tee, for instance. As for Flock, I went last year, and this year's venue looked so much better--although I didn't go this year. I've heard rumors that next year will be different again, but I'm not sure how. I would like to go next year--hope I see you all there!!
Hi Laura! I’m going to make the Esther pullover in Gilliatt. I sometimes want a break from double stranding, and I thought that yarn would show the texture well. Love all of your projects!
Kim, I knit the single malt for my son Corbin and it worked up faster than I expected. Kate, those minis are stunning and I’m looking forward to seeing what you use them in. 🫶

A pattern that really showcases minis that I’ve done is The Thinking Eye shawl by Jennifer Dassau and is available on Ravelry. I did it when I was in the Dragonfly Fibers yarn club and I learned some new techniques and came away with a lovely finished item. You may have to play with color placement but I think you have enough yardage.
I am also not a mini person. I had a set of Julie Asselin minis that sat in my stash for years. I finally used them by pairing with a white yarn and making the Waroo crocheted shawl by Deanne Ramsey. The knitted version is called the Kimba shawl by Ambah O’Brien. I was super pleased with the result.
For your rainbow minis, there’s a Dingley Dell project that is gray/dark gray striped with rainbow stripes at the bottom. I love it! I’m debating the grays or doing the stripes in creams.

Beachy Keen Shawl by Melanie Berg would be perfect with your mini skeins with a contrast color….I saw it made up on a trip to A Chick That Knits in Oklahoma.
Have you seen Rebecca's striped cardigan, Dafr Days. I have seen a few projects that used multiple colors for the stripes and a good neutral as the main color.
Hi ladies, thanks for a lovely podcast. I have a question. I am going to cast on the space time sweater but I'm concerned about my chosen yarn. It's a very soft 17 micron Marino. My Question is do you think it will be too soft to hold the shape, particularly the neck shape.
