Your pics in China are awesome. I'm looking at selling my Fujifilm Klasse S (38mm f/2.8 lens) and getting a GR1S. Though now I see the GR21 and love the results people are getting. That 21mm lens is amazing. The price though...damn.
I had the chance to rent both for night street portraits (I always use a point and shoot as a secondary camera with me).I used both with 3200 ISO film.Ricoh was made for these stuff it really convinced me to replace the digital point and shoot that i used the whole time with the GR1v, every shot was interesting and most of them keepers.T2 was meh,I was all about the grain and t2 didn't performed that well with a couple of blank shots (i couldn't get it to 2.8 f stop, only when i used a priority). Not gonna lie, i didn't enjoyed the experience with the T2, the image quality is not bad but for such conditions ricoh is made for it.
from what i read so far, is it true that the contax t2 is much more durable than the ricoh? since you already broke the ricoh, have you broken the t2 yet?
Not getting the whole T2 and T3 fan thing... if it were as small as the minolta TC-1, then sure, but it's nearing the size of a contax g1... If I have a jacket on I can easily put my g1 inside the pocket. And if I didn't have a jacket, I couldn't fit the contax t2 inside my jeans... so why not just carry the G1? Its the far superior camera and not super huge. Just my thoughts.
Your title says T3 - but it's a T2. Cool video.
wonderfull pictures?
what camera do you like the most? Any big difference in image quality?
What film did you use?
The 2 downsides of the T2 are no manual ISO and you can't use f2.8 outside of aperture priority.
amazing. what kind of film did you use on those shots in China?
Have both. While Contax is my favorite brand. Easy choice, GR1V.
Is the LCD screen on the ricoh still holding up? Love everything about the camera but dont want the screen to give out on me

It’s a T2 so I disliked.
