A hands on comparison of the Ricoh GR1 to the Minolta TC-1. I'm not a professional photographer, I just enjoy shooting film and collecting cameras. If there is something I missed, please add it to the comments section. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
This is really great. Thank you. Would love to see the follow up video, with image comparisons!?
A GR1 is an absolute weapon. I wish they still made/repaired them.
I will need to find the processed film and complete this review. I actually sold the cameras some time ago which is why I never finished it. From what I remember the TC-1's lens had more contrast with warmer colors than the GR1. I preferred it over the GR1's. I will post a quick conclusion with sample once I find them.
Only if you sold them today how much more $$ you have made...
@@wichersham A lot more haha. I bought the GR1 for $180, the TC-1 boxed and mint for $350, the T2 for $130 (which was cheap even then), the Minilux for $200ish.
Wicked video, mate. Cheers!
Nice video - would love to see a leica minilux review! :)
The TC-1 by Minolta is a beauty. Not a huge fan of the gold titanium color but it works because it exudes luxuriousness.
Mine is the very beautiful black versiion of the TC-1. It's a joy to take on a photo shoot, great for travel shots.
what about the flash mode on the TC-1 - does it forget it when turned off and on again or does it remember? Kind Regards from Berlin.
Great comoarison video. The minolta looks so compract :o
I still have my gr1 silver version.. I love it.
Hows the LCD screen? Any info on what’s a good price nowadays? I may have a friend selling one for $650 Canadian
@@JV.. Well tbh..some sections don't work like the first number on the frame counter. It'll show 7, 8, but it's really seventeen or eighteen..but as a camera function wise it works fine..as to a reasonable price in have no idea..I'd guess 2-3 hundred 600.00 sounds kinda high.. I'm talking USD.
This guy sounds Canadian af
The GR1 is not robust!
