Hey man am gonna start trying your ideas i appreciate how simple and less confusing you have made these instructions cant find vids like this eosewhere cheers man
Tim, I've been watching your videos and you put out a lot of good information on all of these side hussle businesses. Keep up the good work your doing!
Great job! It seems like these jobs are supposed to be done from within the United States, it would be interesting to see a video of jobs that could be done from outside the United States.
Great information - do you have a video once you select a business & subcontractors that talks about the legal side to protect the business owners from getting sued by the clients?
Amazing content. Thanks Tim. The way you explained is so helpful and actionable. I wish there was a way to consult you, I am looking to start one right away as I am looking businesses these days.
Lots of options out there. I like Wordpress with Elementor page builder. It doesn’t require any code and is easy to use while still having endless options for customization and scaling. If you go that route, I do have a website template coming out in the next week or so that is a replica of the same design, structure and SEO I use on my website.
I have some website templates for this style of business coming out in the next week or so. Otherwise you can building out a website with Wordpress or Wix and use a booking software like zenbooker, jobber, Housecall pro etc… to do the online booking portion.
All those big businesses are fine but how can we compete with that? Wouldn’t it be easier to be a lead generation company and let service companies pay you for the leads?
What’s crazy is I been looking for different sites like this but alot of them be trash to use for the contractor, and now I see why😂😂 , it’s just random ppl making a business and hiring the people who can actually get the job done… I’m kind of coming from the other side in actually just learning and doing a lot of services, so this is a good idea, I would just want to know how the marketing works with that, to get that type of volume up can have contractors, it’s enough to build up as a regular business locally
Thanks Tim! I didn't find a link in the description of how to find subs. Also how to generate traffic to your particular website for people to use your services? Each service has its specific menus and prices. How do you set up all of it using the software you recommend? Could you provide links to your website(s)? Also I do not understand why you sharing this knowledge, creating competition for yourself?
Thanks for the heads up. I just added the link to the other video. Most of my traffic is organic by ranking for specific local keywords but there are also lots of other creative ways to generate customers with a local business. The softwares will let you completely customize your menus, pricing, etc… Lastly, I do not share my junk website because I target some very specific things. But I do want to show others how promising this business model is. There are lots of opportunities out there that don’t compete with me.
Do you offer any 1 to 1 consulting or have anything deeper on starting remote home services platform(s), like a blue print? I'm struggling with how to setup a website that looks as good and functions as well as your examples.
Hi Greg, sorry I don't do any 1-on-1 at this time. BUT I do have some website templates coming out in the next few weeks that are basically an exact replica of my website design, structure & SEO setup (you can just plug your business info/colors/logo into it). I'll have a full step-by-step video with them explaining how to set them up and use them. I also am slowly working on a remote service business course that I am hoping to release by the end of the year! Join my email list (in my youtube bio) if you want updates on any of these!
Wud working with multiple niches b a good idea or just one niche? N how many subcontractors wud u think u wud need to make sure the job gets picked up in that niche?
I have a Wordpress/Elementor template coming out soon (easy drag and drop design) that’s basically an exact copy of the structure and SEO set up that I use for my site. But there are lots of options. If you are just starting you can always go with something like Wix but will likely outgrow it at some point and need to make a change down the road.
6:37 😂😂😂 Wowww this is crazy.. another business I’ve been versed in, soo same thing as the other one, it’s a good model but it’s just crazy to me how to even go about structuring that. People in my area alone some not all “yikes” At the price of a detail meanwhile there’s some people in the area who do it for cheaper. It’s such a more complicated meticulous service for me Vs moving or dumping because every car is different besides Up sells and what it needs. But the biggest thing I would see that would be difficult is those profit margins, as alot of these apps chop their prices to like 30\70 for their contractors , and in a detail alot of the products, labor and gas is already counted into the price so I’m just trying to imagine them paying out even half of that 150-200 and people making it doable
Hello Tim, I really appreciate your videos. I have applied everything so far I’ve created my LLC. I have created my website. I have the Google map pending. I have now contractors that I have hired. Now, just waiting for leads. I will need to have a meeting with you if possible for mentorship thanks.
Congrats on taking action and getting started. I love to hear that. I don’t do any mentorship or coaching right now but I am working on a step-by-step class for anyone who wants more in-depth info on the remote model. In the meantime let me know if there is a topic for a TH-cam video that would be helpful for you.
@@timrichardbusiness This video was great for me since I’ve completed almost all the steps. I will be using this video to pice the services I’ll be providing. I would appreciate if you can send me your email to send you a link of my website to get some feedback.
This video is simply showing examples of the most popular types of businesses that can be operated remotely. I have other more tactical videos that teach how to start a business like this.
Ya TH-cam has a bunch of info on building out a site. I always build on Wordpress and use Elementor (drag and drop page builder). Wix is good to get something up quick but may box you in with limited capabilities down the road as you grow. I do have a some local service business website templates coming soon that are basically an exact replica of the structure and SEO that I use in my junk site to rank in over 40 major cities. Hoping to have those ready in a few weeks.
No 50/50 is right. The contractor literally doesn’t have to do anything. No marketing, no sales, no planning or anything. They’re basically just given business on a silver platter so 50/50 is pretty fair
50/50 has worked well for our company. We spend the money and time to get all the jobs and customers and send them to our contractors for free. They can choose to do the job or not. We have great relationships with our subcontractors and many have stayed onboard with us for multiple years.
@@MyShotsTickle-im5ss If the person with the leads wants to negotiate. If the person chose a great area to get leads in then there is no need to negotiate with anyone. I know as for me, I set my prices and that is it, no negotiation, ever. If I'm at 50%, I don't even come down to 49%. But, some people might, you just have to ask.
Good question. For many reason I do not share my junk removal company on TH-cam. Mainly I don’t want the world of TH-cam calling, leaving reviews, etc.. I prefer to keep it separate.
Hey Tim , I really enjoyed your latest video! Your content has a lot of potential, and I specialize in helping creators grow their TH-cam channels through proven strategies that have worked for my clients. If you're ever interested in taking your channel to the next level, I'd love to discuss how I can assist you with everything from planning to execution. Let me know if you'd like to connect!

You have terms of service on website and you specify to use arbitration and if they sue they agree to pay all legal fees.
Amazing content. Thanks Tim. The way you explained is so helpful and actionable. I wish there was a way to consult you, I am looking to start one right away as I am looking businesses these days.
Honest Great Guy, you helping people.thank you.
All these ideas are great, I liked them very much, thank you very much😮😮😮

How a small guy/company would have to spend to do this?
Where do people find all these contractors? I don't know why they would be agreeing to take half or less if they're doing all the work
They don't have e no work

50/50 is wild, i would think the person doing the job would walk away with a bigger percentage, at least 60/40

You ca aways negotiate how much if your providing tools and vehicle it really changes
