his point on rebuild the company if you change people all the time is so true. That guy a genius.. I don't use that word easily. And I am kinda smart myself. And the positive psychology books that people still laugh bout to this day is also a genius move. Sometimes your mindset is bad. It's actually smart to improve it. The same way you hire one of the real men of his business to fix your basement.

Oh yes its hard to find skilled workers
Its even harder to keep them
I worked in a readymix concrete and block factory
The profits was decreasing from 2011 - 2019 because of low demand, taxes and most importantly high government fees
But we were profitable at least
till upper management changed 50% of skilled workers to decrease cost
Today they are loosing money and soon will close shop
Its easier to demolish than to build

Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

The thing that really encapsulated his attitude for me was his misunderstanding of the phrase "Shit rolls downhill" - an expression that usually means that if your boss is in trouble they will try to palm it off to their subordinates. The fact he thinks the expression is the opposite of this says so much about him - that it should be the boss that deals with the problems, not the one palming off the problems to those below themselves.
