- In this video we take a look at the QS Motor QS165 mid drive motor that I will be replacing my Sur Ron motor with.

El motor QS 165 en su ficha tecnica dice que puede aceptar picos de 450A y 47NM, con una bateria de 72V al 100% estamos en una tension de 84V lo que nos da una potencia pico Maxima de 37.8KW esto es real? podria lograr esos niveles de potencia?
Was this motor plug and play as far as installation goes? No wiring modifications or motor mount changes?

very curious how it performs. emotobros did 63mph with a 64tooth sprocket on a 30 sec pull. with a 60v battery on 10KW. dont know how the rest of their setup looked like.
I've already done 79mph with my current setup. I'm hoping to regain that lost performance.

It's cheaper, also I already have an ASI controller I don't need a new controller. If maybe they sold just the motor but I think you have to buy both together.

Hi I bought a qs165 Motor for my Surron and the hall sensor connector has eight plugs but the Surron has six plug connector did I buy the wrong motor?
Hmm my motor hall sensor plugged in no problem. There should be 3 phase wires, 2 power wires (red+black), and hall sensor connector.

How can you configure this with existing BAC8000?
We'll find out when i install it. The nxt display has a auto tuning function...

Yeah I haven't posted the video but you will need a tune to get this motor working the way it's suppose to. I'm going to have to put the old motor back on until I can get it sorted. I got it running but it's only as fast as a stock sur ron.
@@hadesomegamoto7639 Jep😁 thats the problem .... we are about 7h on it for a basic setup and max power what i reached out is 8.2kw 🙈 . REALLY TRICKY . And those who tell you other, ask a Log ...you never get it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
