I do not know the age of this piece. I believe that it is fairly new and made to look like an old cap and ball, black powder pistol. It, of course fired in the conventional more modern manner as evidenced by the firing pins. Plastic grips would not have been used on a pistol such as this. There was a material that resembled plastic, that was used . It was Gutta Percha . It was brittle but it was used on things like pistol grips .It was an interesting job , I don't know about painting it gold but to each his own. as a cap and ball black powder replica of some kind. I never saw plastic grips on any thing that was purportedly an antique. There. Was a material I recall, that was used old some old pistols, not ancient but older than the grips used here. They were made out of Gutta Percha.,which I recall was brittle..
Very nice looking BUT NOT an accurate restoration. The hand grips are wrong. IT looks really good, and I appreciate the hard work. Collectors are a picky breed. Thank you for the video. ✝️❤️✌️

This kind of pistols had been Made in Brazil untill about 1970. For law reason easier to buy than automatics or revolvers. Mostly .22/ .32 cartidges.
Cool channel...good job👍
Me parece envelhecido artificialmente. os parfusos não saem com tanta facilidade.
excelente
Só tem 1 modelo de arma .
