New subscriber here.. Please keep this concept of no commentary, i know people associates that with SimonFordman but its great to know more channels doing these kind of videos without talking or putting music, TH-cam needs more channels like yours and Simon's channel! Greetings from Brazil!
Thanks for the sub and I’m glad you liked the video! I have to check out Simon’s channel I heard a few people mention him. In the end I’m aiming for a mix of the RESTORED silent revivals, and typical will it runs along with the detail of those silent restoration channels. I have a few things I want to add to the next video to get it closer to what I want. Thanks for watching!
This was great. I don’t mind talking at all. My favorite channels include people who talk. But this is nice too. I love the car and the video. My ‘73 dart has a slant six, and it’s always nice to see one make an appearance. Love to see you do more. On my end this looks like it’s your first video. 😊👍👍 1:23:50. lol.
Thanks for taking the time to produce this video. Lot of camera work and editing went into this piece no doubt. I had a 66’ for a short time, but this is your story. 👍🍻
to be able to watch you redo without wasting time or talking is a novel and excellent idea my friend. massive respect to you. I think I would have taken the seats out but then thought if it's just cleaning and not fixing the floor. maybe your idea was better🎉😮🤔😉
Two things that came to mind while watching that I think only other Aussies will understand. "Come and have a look at this one Edward, this one got a wireless!" "I believe my ones faster than yours Mr Bond cause my ones a RED one!"
My 65 was the same color but mine was a formula S model Barracuda and had the 273 V 8 commando engine and a 4 speed. Had a blast in that car back in the early 70s My older brother bought it new and did some mods and it was a strong running street race and 1/4 drag car.
Keep doing videos like this. Best regards from Brazil!. I've being watching a bunch of videos with a lot of talk and less hand on the car. Your channel will grow like Simon Fordman.
It looked like the shoes and drums weren't terrible. I thought that he was just going to replace the wheel cylinders. So when he replaced the whole works drums and all I was really satisfied. Excellent work. Please let me say one teeny issue: actually just three words. Wheel bearing packer
I am sure hope you will restore this car to some adequate state, it really deserves it, but it's hard to even imagine how much body work this beaty requires.
1966 Camp Lejeune there was a guy in my company that had a brand new Baracuda Formula S 273, 4 bbl 4 speed. He was from Boston and his old man was in the Irish mob. Nice guy gave his buddies rides. Had a wad of cash all times. Hell he had a better car than the Lt.Col
It’s like Simon Fordman.. but Matt gmman Haha great vid man. I like these, I also like the descriptions in captions he does, maybe you could add that. Not that you’re trying to copy or anything.
Thats a good idea with the captions. I tried putting my own text over the video a few times but I didn’t like the way it looked and felt it took away from the video.
Cool vid. My first car, 65 Plymouth Valiant Barracuda slant 6, great car, wish I kept it. Back seat and rear panel down and you could sleep in it. Did you really take the Chrysler to get parts w/o the rad cap?
I'm willing to bet for all the sorry walloping of the elements done on this old Killerfish, that that 225 Slant Six, BEING a Slant Six, WILL effortlessly fire right up. The wrong engine for THIS Mopar, though. It just further emphasizes the humble Valiant origins of the CAR!
I just learned to make some stuff that's very similar to evaporust but WAAAAY cheaper. I made like 50 gallons and it was only $250, if you need the stuff
@raging4rust the biggest obstacle is a vessel large enough for your part that will hold water. I'm doing a rear axle now. I got a trash can, but only half fits at one time
This channel shows promise and is worth monitoring. However, it's important to be aware of a common trend among mechanical TH-cam channels: initial episodes often focus on hands-on work, but over time, creators may shift towards lengthy monologues with the camera centered on them, reducing the demonstration of actual projects. This shift can lead to a decline in content quality, as the focus moves from practical demonstrations to personal commentary. The first episode is impressive, but there's a tendency for creators to alter their approach in subsequent episodes, sometimes to the detriment of the content. While the desire to innovate is understandable, it's crucial to maintain the balance between engaging narration and substantive demonstrations to keep the audience engaged. In summary, while this channel has potential, it's advisable to watch how the content evolves, ensuring it continues to deliver valuable and practical insights without succumbing to the pitfalls that have affected similar channels. I recommend not to subscribe at this moment.
I admire the work ethic, no fancy garage. I’m a fan of these gen I barracudas but this poor car has so much rust it seems like a lost cause. That being said, enjoy your project.
Getting a total Simon Fordman vibe. I love it.
rage should take that as a high compliment

@@raging4rust Hello, I love this no commentary concept too, please make more videos...! 👍👍👍👍👍
Best regards from the Czech Republic...! ✌️😎
Or not. Commentary is fine as well
I agree 100%
indeed 👌🏼
No music no extra talk, I am subbing
I think the reason for no conversation is that there is going to be A LOT of interesting and very creative profanity.
^^this
Profound
In 1971 I bought a yellow Barracuda just like this one. What a great car. I was 23.
An interstellar blast from the past ! I love the 65 Barracuda 6 cyl model . I hope you go further with this car ! Cheers from Montréal , Québec
I really like the concept of no talking actually, kind of like rusty ASMR
Awesome video! Awesome car! A thousand thumbs up for just being quiet.
I've not even finished the video and want to thank you for saving this Barracuda. Not many of them out there. Man good luck with the rust repairs.
it's a cool car isnt it.
Luv it, don’t quit
Do more with this “no commentary “ concept!!!!!
Lovely clean windows…….no floor! Great channel btw👍
I thoroughly love the silence in this video. It's very relaxing.
Nice job getting it moving and the videography style was well done too. Like it 👍
Great video, my friend. I'm watching it from Brazil, and I'm looking forward to the next videos.
Thanks for the quality content.
Keep going this way! No talk, more work!

I remember seeing one of these as kid, brand new in 1965 walking to grade school. It was so different looking with that big glass.
Greetings from Iran . >enjoyed watching this and learned a lot.❤

I really enjoyed watching that. Thankyou!
Looking at this one is making me feel better about mine.
Simon was the pioneer!
Hey man, nice job! Hope the next video coming soon! Congrats and thanks for share knowledge!
More to come!
Keep doing videos like this. Best regards from Brazil!. I've being watching a bunch of videos with a lot of talk and less hand on the car. Your channel will grow like Simon Fordman.
This was my first car...a hand me down in 1975. Soon upgraded to a 69 Ply. Road Runner;
une ambiance totale de Simon Fordman. tres belle video ,merci et super
Those slant 6 were really bulletproof!!! Great video!!
I like silent movies of repair 👍
Great job, love the hard work you put into this car. I know it’s not cost effective, but would love to see that Barracuda look like the Chrysler 👍🏾😸
It looked like the shoes and drums weren't terrible. I thought that he was just going to replace the wheel cylinders. So when he replaced the whole works drums and all I was really satisfied. Excellent work. Please let me say one teeny issue: actually just three words. Wheel bearing packer
A great video the best noise tools and car talking hope to see more
G'day from Brooksys Car Restorations... love the car!! All the best!!

That’s a cool car, looks like the one VGG dig out in Florida a few months back
really excellent work!
Thanks!
Nice job. Good luck with the new channel! 👍
Nice new channel!
This car looks like it’s been through the war!
Absolutely awesome 👏
I like the action instead of words.
You have a big project infront of you. Save the jaw calories for the fingers and arms.
Keep up the good work
Thanks
I am sure hope you will restore this car to some adequate state, it really deserves it, but it's hard to even imagine how much body work this beaty requires.
Thats the plan!
Best of luck young man. I hadda 64 318 four speed. Someone twisted most of the left hand lug bolts off. Sheesh!
Looks like a good project. Good luck with the Barracuda. New subscriber.
Much appreciated!
@ Sure thing.
Лично мне такое молчаливое , деловитое видео больше нравится чем многоречивое.
Dude I’m so excited for this new channel! That was a lot of fun to watch. I forgot how weird MoPars are haha
I love cinema verite. Well done
In New Zealand that 225 slant 6 is known as a bulletproof engine. Taxi drivers drivers used them in AP5 an later Chrysler Valiant cars

I like this concept.
Great video! Have lots of body parts, cowl etc if you're interested!
Oh cool, where are you located?
Video çok başarılı... Devam👍
I don't think I've ever seen chrome peel so badly like that

جميل جداً عملك يتكلم
فديو يستحق المشاهدة

01:48:00 Yep..AudioVox the cheapest go to car radios in the 70s. I put one in my Ford F100 stepside PU. in the mid late 70s.
That's one cRUSTy fish.👍
I laughed when you opened the brake master cylinder!
Matt busting out the jug his mom used to mix koolaid in from the 90s to catch gas lol
Everyone of a certain age recognizes that jug 😂

I believe your supposed to remove the washer on the spark plugs when you have those floating inserts in the spark plug hole
I’m still new to these old mopars so I had no idea that was a thing. I have to do the tube seals so the plugs need to come back out anyway.
This is one video where I did the talking. I have sympathetic aches in all my joints watching all that rust...
hey, what camera are you using?
Lumix gh5
👍🏼👍🏼
Wow power steering in an economy car in 1965. La-dee-da! Also, love those 1965 - 1968 Chryslers.
FALCON never offered power options!
Just what that thing needs - more water. BTW, I’d bet that trunk hinge has been broken since 1967.
Good video
+ plis
The story of the humble Mopar Mustang wannabe that probably first ran on Esso Humble Extra!
I just learned to make some stuff that's very similar to evaporust but WAAAAY cheaper. I made like 50 gallons and it was only $250, if you need the stuff

tops
You fixed her! How long before you do a hemi under glass?
That would be incredible
That cuda is JUUUUUUNK! Way to much weight reduction going on!
I can fix her😍

You pay to mutch stock to make this barracuda working
I would shut that hood and sell it off. Purchase one running and save a butt ton of money. Butt ton of money.
Rust on the drivers door looks like a frownie face 😂
Its pretty eaten and reclaimed by nature.
True test of an Apple Watch.
Welcome, 5 video and car later 2 million watched your channel become nice MOVİE channel. Nice video. PLEASE 1961 CHEVY bubble top.... Thanks.. 😊😊
Simon Fordman apk😅
