This video is from 2013 BEFORE lash shampoos existed. As an early lash tech in a newer industry we had to find ways to cleanse lashes. This is what we made. Today I would not recommend making this, it's easy to purchase lash shampoos on amazon and other lash stores. The video remains as a record of how far the lashing industry has come.
I received my foam bottle today from Amazon and tried this recipe for my lashes. I love it! It doesn't leave an oily residue that other eye makeup cleaners I've tried.
I tried it but I put too much in my bottle and I didn’t measure using millilitres. My left eye is a little red. I didn’t use a foam pump but maybe I should buy one.
this made my lashes fall out like crazy! I don't think baby shampoo says "oil free" on it. Like 10 lashes per eye fell out after 3 days with my new full set.
+Karina Stepss defo needs to be oil free, oil is baaaad for lash extension glue as it breaks it down. One other thing could be bad lash application, if they aren't attached the best at the base then they can ping off easily.
Marbella Camacho I didn’t try the aveno. Arm & Hammer baking soda was pretty strong and client lashes fell faster so I cut dose in half. No issues since.
@@tkwidama3529 I don't make it anymore, I just buy it, chrissanthe sell little sachets and that is one you dilute in water, could you try seeing if that one is available in your country?
@@bellaella2741 because it’s shampoo for your head, not your eyes. Plus it would burn like hell if you got it in your eyes. Lash shampoo is very gentle and made for your eyes. Baby shampoo has chemicals in it that build up on your lashes and leave a coat on them. It can cause retention issues

Viana G if you use it does it burn your eyes
Can you please do a video on how to actually clean the lashes once you have this cleanser?
thanks
Have you tried it with the Lavender scented Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo? I think that might be the only way to make this recipe better.
@Paige Findley it helped me thank you x
Fragrance can cause burning for some
What are the full list of ingredients to put on the label of bottle please? Thanks
Thank you ❤️❤️. I’m opening a business and definitely including this!!
I tried it and it worked with mascara, defo take contacts out

Better to buy professional lash shampoo now, this video is old and I made it before we had the option of buying professional shampoo
How long deos the preparation last?
Hi what size bottle did you use? I have a 50 ML size foam bottle. Can you send me the measurements for that. Mines keep coming out watery
1:4 baby shampoo to water plus 1 teaspoon baking soda.

Has anyone tried with Aveeno Baby wash and Shampoo?
Can you use Burt’s bees baby shampoos?
can I use organic baby wash instead of baby shampoo ?
Can you use this to remove mascara? And should you take out your contacts before using this?
Hi there!! What is the purpose of the Baking soda?? thankyou :)
Itching and burning
mcmakeup007 baking soda is an antiseptic.. so you don’t grow bacteria or lice on your lashes.its also soothing

What size are these labels?
can this be used to clean lashes before extensions?
Baking soda is for?
EXCELLENT!!!!! Thank you.
Any baking soda is fine?
As far as I know
Can you use this as a handwash?
In spanish plis?
I love it I'm going to try it thank you
If you tried it how was it ? Did any lashes fall out excessively or was it fine ?
how long can this be kept?
I recommend buying a professional shampoo these days, this was before they were available
What if the bottles are 50ml it’s too much product for the bottles
Just divide all her recommended amounts by 3 - 150 ml / 3 = 50ml
I made this and when I have left the shampoo to the side, the baking soda has collected at the bottom. Doesn’t look nice. How can I prevent this?
I just had the same problem... did you figure out a way to prevent it?
Probably stir the baking soda in the water before pouring it in the bottle
Emulsifer
Warm up the baking soda to help it dissolve
Is it safe to assume this wash is oil free
Yep oil free 👍🏻
Oops never mind my comment. I just read the description. Okay so where can I buy this bottle?
any plastic shop or onine like ebay
Awesome, you rock!
What if I don’t have a foam bottle?
Then it won’t work
Y how to use huggies shampoo?
The measurements have me so confused, especially the millimeters.
You mean millilitres? 😌 Just convert it
I have Aveeno baby shampoo and Arm and Hammer baking soda. Do you think it would work with these brands?
Did you find out if it works?
Marbella Camacho I didn’t try the aveno. Arm & Hammer baking soda was pretty strong and client lashes fell faster so I cut dose in half. No issues since.
So I need to use less baking soda?
Thank you so much for your reply
Would you please direct me to where the stickers can be made or purchased?
I am pretty sure I made this via vistaprint :)
How do you size your servings
thank you!!
creative and usefull
Johnson and Johnson specifically stated their products are not for lashes
Darcell Barnes look at the date of this video, there’s heaps of premade shampoos now anyways
They have to say that for liability issues.
@@queenleo5578 I agree
so much good info thanks
Can you use and baby shampoo does it matter ?
Baby shampoo is no tears, so it doesn't hurt your eyes. Also its gentle.
I have seen video frome professionals saying baby shampoo is a big no no
Yes it is now, the date of this video is old and I’ve left it up because we actually used to do this before professional shampoo was available,
Ow oke oke butt how do you do it now? Because i live in the Netherlands but i cant get the prolong concentrate so im searching for other options
@@galaxydreaming i will like to know too of how you doing it now
@@tkwidama3529 I don't make it anymore, I just buy it, chrissanthe sell little sachets and that is one you dilute in water, could you try seeing if that one is available in your country?
@@z.bailey3358 I just buy professional shampoos, on amazon Stacy Lash sell shampoos,
Hey ladies I have lash washers 💕💕
How much ?
You should not use baby shampoo on lashes 🙈
Why??
Why
@@bellaella2741 because it’s shampoo for your head, not your eyes. Plus it would burn like hell if you got it in your eyes.
Lash shampoo is very gentle and made for your eyes. Baby shampoo has chemicals in it that build up on your lashes and leave a coat on them. It can cause retention issues
Baby shampoo doesn't sting the eyes hence why it's for baby's
Tear free
